>>31964 I don't care if the animation is finished yet or not. It's horrid. Even worse they're making something like crossdressing way too prominent when it's supposed to be a joke. Not some representation "yass kween slay" bullshit for drag queens.
>>31964 That was excruciating. The voice acting, art and animation were terrible. Ignoring the drag queen shit, they even made Dizzy Devil 'non-binary'. Babs and Sweetie call him 'they' multiple times. And none of the jokes were funny. They ruined yet another IP.
>>31967 >They ruined yet another IP. They've ruined every single one
>>31964 Look like it's playing in a flash browser. It's there a swf file for that episode? Yeah, I forgot we in 2023. Dang it, even early CN show made in flash were better animated.
>>31975 You think that's bad? You should see Clone High
>>31967 Whenever they talked about Dizzy, I had to rewind a few times just to make sure I heard that correctly. Fucking hell, I hate modern animation from the west.
>>31964 This is pure bullshit.
idk why BugsxDaffy being Canon sits well with me. I blame Tails Gets Trolled
holy shit why is the animation so bad? I guess Primal's Peak spoiled me rotten. Even goofy stuff like Centaurworld had better animation.

>>32044 I blame The Looney Toons Show. Bugs and Daffy acted like a married in that show and specially in the first seasons, even when both of them had girlfriends. >>32045 According to 4/co/ that episode is the 5th one and isn't finished yet, but knowing the absolute state of western animation I can bet one of my 78 nuts that the final product will be almost identical to this WiP.
>>32046 Is that worth watching? I actually enjoyed the new Mickey Mouse shorts because they gave Mickey an actual personality. I assume that show marked the start of Pepes exile, not like I gave a shit about him since his shorts were the most boring of the original runs.
>>32047 It's an American sitcom dressed as Looney Tunes. It's good as a standalone product, but it diverges from previous shows so much that you could say it's set in an alternative universe where everyone is an urbanite. Similarly, the characters are radically different from other versions. Bugs is neurotic as fuck, Daffy is a /b/tard, Porky is a nerd who somehow gets the hottest chicks, Lola is batshit insane, Taz is Bugs' pet, Speedy is the only sane character in the show, Yosemite Sam is Bugs' trashy neighbor, Elmer is a newsman, the witch is a soccer mom and Gossamer is her timid son, the granny is a former WWII spy, Foghorn is a rich entrepreneur, but pretty much everyone else remains the same. >I assume that show marked the start of Pepes exile No. Pepe appears as a secondary/background character in a couple of episodes and even has his own song (everyone has one): https://invidious.esmailelbob.xyz/watch?v=45Hm1r-fOT0 Here's Daffy's theme, btw: https://invidious.esmailelbob.xyz/watch?v=Xi_hcwB8i64

>>32051 Lola being an airheaded psycho is the funniest part of that show.
>>32052 This is my favorite version of Lola.
>>32052 Absolutely. Lola stalking Bugs and torturing him whenever he gets her is hilarious
I'm starting to think all these reboots are a completely lost cause. All these IPs from my younger years, all getting ruined. I can't bring myself to watch them. Shitty new age writing, subpar voice acting, bad animation - they either have one of the three or all the symptoms. The biggest problem I find is that far too much time has passed between these reboots and the original shows. They should have been done 10-15 years ago, for various reasons. I have heard mostly bad press concerning the reboots/sequels of TTA, Animaniacs, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers, ReBoot: The Guardian Code, Clone High, and Velma. Was the DuckTales reboot any good? Wabbit/New Looney Tunes/Looney Tunes Cartoons? Looking up a Wiki article on reboots, I didn't even know these existed: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inspector_Gadget_(2015_TV_series) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Magic_School_Bus_Rides_Again https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muppet_Babies_(2018_TV_series) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rugrats_(2021_TV_series) I'm going to assume they were all disliked for one reason or another. There was a time I would get excited for news of a reboot, now the news fills me with dread. The executives can never understand why the reboot failed. They blame other factors. When show/movie fails, that IP will then get locked away potentially forever because they will see it as a "risk". Meanwhile they are too thickheaded to understand its their own fault that it failed. It feels like every time we see previews for something, or catch wind of an early reboot idea in the development stages, and it gets nothing but negativity surrounding it, that it comes to the surface we were right all along when the final product finally airs. Like chee, who would have seen that coming? So much wasted time and talents on ideas/concepts that were doomed to fail from the start. And yet, they were approved, and money was pumped into these projects that turned out to be failures. Money that could have been better spent on creating something original.
>>32093 >I'm starting to think all these reboots are a completely lost cause. Yes. >Was the DuckTales reboot any good? No. >Wabbit/New Looney Tunes/Looney Tunes Cartoons? Haven't watched any of them but no one really brings them up & they shot themselves in the foot by saying no one will use guns. Despite y'know Elmer Fudd & Yosemite Sam's whole gimmicks revolve around using guns. Anything else was fair game but guns? That'd be a bad influence on all the adults watching the new cartoons because no children really care.
>>31964 https://yewtu.be/watch?v=LbUwneis34E But WB were always so progressive, like having niggers voice stereotypical niggers.

>>32093 >Was the DuckTales reboot any good? No, it's a slap into your face. Showrunners didn't care. >Wabbit? Modern spongebob humor, in layman term overanimated with no slow >New Looney Tunes Great, only show that's near golden age counter parts. >I'm starting to think all these reboots are a completely lost cause. I watched many reboots in past years. Some reboots almost nailed and some are just slap on. What they all got in common today is shitty computer generated production quality. Ditto, expect shit coming out. >>32093

>>32094 Why is Gosalyn a nigger?
>>32115 She's "latina". They made other ducks & birds niggers. Even Donald Duck was voiced by Don Cheadle for some fucking reason. https://yewtu.be/watch?v=bPQilDSlpRg

>>32126 Yeah but those ducks look like dragons or dinosaurs.
>>32093 I just found out they plan to reboot King Of The Hill. I'm running out of tables to flip.
>>32149 It's a revival rather than a full reboot. Like Beavis & Butthead.

>>32094 These queers are completely fucking mindbroken
>>32188 God I fucking hate this. If you want more proof journos are fetishizing non-whites look no further than that webm, there was definetly arousal in that guys voice, the whole "gives me chills" just solidifies it, it's not subtle, and it's not what diversity should be. This is fucking creepy, slimy horny estrogenic motherfuckers expressing their arousal in the name of social justice is not what society signed up for when they wanted progress. Now excuse me, I need some good ol racism to wash this uncomfortable feeling down.

>>32201 >I need some good ol racism to wash this uncomfortable feeling down. This ought to do the trick.
>>32204 Nigger, get yo black ass outta here!
>>32204 God, I miss the Boondocks.
>>32207 I apologize for my inconvenience in thy very current contrary of the the very moment. It was as a matter of fact, very foolish of me to be of African-American inheritance, at you’re presence. I am deeply sorry for you’re discomfort and inconvenience. And I hope you have a wonderful day.
>>32204 I think the funniest part about this episode is that the country singer grows to overcome racism through his own racism, only for Ruckus to get mad about it until they can find another target of ridicule (Mexicans). You can't have shit like that in modern TV anymore. Not even South Park gets to be that edgy and still bring home some sort of moral lesson. >>32094 >Despite y'know Elmer Fudd & Yosemite Sam's whole gimmicks revolve around using guns Not necessarily, Elmer Fudd is a hunter and Yosemite Sam has a short temper, that's their gimmicks. For proof of that, the Bugs Bunny Lost in Time game has the former be a prehistoric hunter and the latter a privateer who only uses cannons. It's the whole "we changed it to fit modern audiences" angle that fucking sucks. I don't think even catholic soccer moms from the 90s gave a shit about cartoon guns blowing up in some schmuck's face. >>32093 They keep rebooting franchises to: 1) Prevent the IP from being forgotten; 2) Renew copyrights or jerrymander researches (see how Yidnsdey keeps making bad 3D adaptations of popular old movies, they really don't want you to go look at their older stuff if it has any chance of going in the public domain); 3) Experiment with new formats with shows that most people will give very little shit about. >Was the DuckTales reboot any good? There is only ONE interesting plot thread, that being Darkwing Duck being two separate people - a washed up actor who plays a campy Adam West fictional-in-universe version of the character and a super fan of the Darkwing Duck show who grows to emulate the fictional character by getting his own lair and acting a lot like OG DD. There's even a rather cool part where the washed up actor becomes increasingly deranged from not being on the spotlight anymore and seeing his own creation stolen from him by a younger lad which eventually will turn him into Nega-Duck from the OG series, but since there weren't enough girlbosses or dark feathered characters they completely abandoned that plot. Modern cartoons were a mistake. There's a reason people only watch anime or stuff geared towards extremely young kids.
>>32362 >2) Renew copyrights or jerrymander researches That isn't how it works. The moment you make something and publish it, the copyright exists automatically (Meaning you receive the same protections Yidsney does when it comes to your original works). Yidsney isn't making these live-action remakes to "renew" their copyright.
>>32408 Technically their remakes are nearly all public domain stories. It's just their versions that they legally own. Which is honestly already a weird gray area.
>>32362 That's why both it and the Tyler Perry episode are a few of my favorites. >1) Prevent the IP from being forgotten; Even Ace Ventura, Earthworm Jim, The Tick, Bobby's World, and Life With Louie are well remembered. As a television kid that grew up with mostly rabbit ears; Kids WB, Fox Kids, ABC Kids, CBS Kids, and PBS Kids was all you could get with a clear reception. The other option was VHS tapes. Had quite a few ComiColor and Looney Tunes myself. But if preventing such IP from being forgotten and keeping such gems "true to the original as possible." Then why is Dizzy Devil a "they/them" and not what was he always been. A male? It's silly.
>>32094 >>32163 Worst part is he's lead writer

>>32614 Berserk-O looks a little... merchanty.
>>32615 Well that's because the character was planed to be voiced by Mel Brooks and modeled to his likeness.
>>32618 >Mel What the fuck? It looks like it was designed by A. Wyatt Mann. He signed off on that likeness?
>>32626 Bob Camp (Ren and Stimpy) designed the character and the details surrounding Mel's likeness are unknown.
