Do you ever go to one of those dollar shops/poundlands (the type that ashens goes to) and go through the toy section and see all those toys that are meant to look enough like popular characters to be confused with the said characters but not enough to be sued. So... instead of Micky The Mouse it's Michael The Rodent, instead of Buggs Bunny it's Buster The Reddit, instead of Thomas The Tank Engine it's Tommy The Train so on and so fourth well these are the cinematic equivalent
>>36138 >Buster The Reddit >Reddit It was a nice thread, but I'm afraid you have to go back now.
>>36138 >poundlands >ashens >Mickey The Mouse ESL-kun plz.

Most people don't buy physical where I live, so not anymore. I never actually found copycats like those at all though, I do remember my time around flea markets and most you could find would be pirated VHS/DVDs with clearly homemade covers. I do miss the aesthetics though, seeing shelfs of stuff bunched up together is really cool and makes it fun to search around for something, I remember a home appliance store where they had an electronics division with an underground vidya section in the basement, it had moody lighting and black walls, it was comfy as all fuck. Almost bought Lula 3D from there, but was missing 10 bucks so I got Tribes Vengeance instead. Too bad the store is gone now, sampled the N64 and the Gamecube kiosk there.
>>36141 You haven't heard of ashens? also I spelt poundlands right the only thing you have got on me on is Micky The Mouse
>>36138 You might find this repulsive, but this is how my parents introduced me to Kimba the White Lion. I was kinda happy when i found out how the Disney version was the knock-off and not vice versa.
>>36152 You speak in strange words, anon.
