So you actually fucking agree that its nihilistic?
No shit "life" is nihilistic in a nihilistic work that ends in death. Nihilism precludes hope, Spike's life was considered hopeless by himself.
The reason he didn't do X, Y or Z is because he clearly wanted to go out like that.
Why did it take this fucking long for this basic point to be admitted, my goodness.
I already pointed this shit out last thread, yet people were saying bullshit like he was "redeemed" because "doves" or that maybe he "didn't die", i-it was totally ambiguous.
This is fucking irritating.
I'm glad someone finally admitted something fucking concrete about this show, arguing with people about this is like arguing with jews.
>at least with Bebop the series dies with Spike where as when we get snuffed the world keeps on spinning.
Nah, it applied in Bebop as well, all the crew members went off to do their own thing, Spike's death was pretty much irrelevant to them, or at least, not important enough for them to get off their asses and do something about it.

Yes, the episodes being disconnected make it difficult to remember single instances, I don't remember what he said.
if its his quote about death, it makes no fucking sense in this context because Spike
chose to die the way he did. Death should be feared for those whose lives have no meaning, because without meaning, there's no hope in one's life.
