>‘loyal’ customer base with a ‘passion for the hobby’
Yes, which is precisely why their base is reacting. GW's base has a lot of oldfags that don't just consume product, that know that GW isn't "the hobby", that there's other worlds, other miniature companies, headcanon, and homebrews.
Finance kikes barely know anything about this, because they only know about business and don't give a shit about the history or the actual customer base of a company.
>‘out with the old, in with the new’
Trying to replace a customer base that's been reliable for 30 years with impulse buying 12 year olds isn't a smart business strategy for anything short of fattening up the profits in the very short term and selling the business to some large megacorp that only knows business and is retarded enough to fall for it.
>GW management team
>'excellent’
They're a bunch of clowns, which has been known since it went corporate back in the 90s. Best example: 40k got a massive popularity boost from DoW. They axed WHFB 3 months before the release of Total Warhammer, which they already had a contract that'd have people streaming into their physical stores with the White Dwarf DLC code being distributed there. This resulted in people interested in Total Warhammer walking into stores with literally 0 WHFB miniatures left, and usually no new merchandise replacing them, so the stores were 50% full at best and looked as if the place was about to go bankrupt.
>‘very high margin and return’ business of licensing its IP across a range of formats
Proves they know shit about GW.
GW used to not license anything, for decades. They just gave Relic their DoW license and sat on their asses after that became a massive success.
Then they gave the license away like candy, massively damaging the brand to people that don't know it already by infinite mobile shovelware that even got ported to PC half the time. Then they stopped and were more reasonable for a hot minute, until they nuked fan works.
Now, they heavily interfere with licenses, pushing Primaris shit the fanbase dislikes into licensed products, AND THEY GIVE MOBILE SHOVELWARE LICENSES AGAIN FFS
A monkey eating his own shit could run GW better than its management team. It's a company at the absolute top of its niche, a niche that's borderline fanatically loyal, and willing to pay huge amounts for some shitty plastic... as long as you don't shit on them. And GW has shat on them, then apologized and did it again. And again. And again. For decades.
They've about exhausted the angelic patience of wargamers, and no company that's run this shit is going to survive with any customer base that's less chill. GW will try to find a buyer, fail, and go bankrupt within the decade.
t. someone who does investing as a job, and who believes in knowing what you buy before buying a stock. These kikes don't give a shit, because it's not their money that's being invested into a doomed company.
