Could you fags stop hate fucking and sucking each other’s dick for a second to help entertain an idea for fixing things?
I want to see if it’s possible to “revive” the old internet. I mean, get back to where there were hundreds of different sites that all catered to people’s different needs, instead of the current situation where the internet runs through 10 different companies. The way I was thinking about doing this was through these three steps:
>Return to old haunts
I keep seeing Anons talking about all the old forums they use to go to, and I was wondering if anyone has tried actively posting on those sites again. Or, if they’re still “slightly” active, become part of the community? One of the reasons why I see everyone centralizing on social media or Discord is that “’’well, no one talks on websites anymore’’”, so I was wondering how feasible it would be to prove them wrong. If anything else, it would be a good blog, but that also brings forward the question of what to talk about.
>Build up alternatives
Outside of LBRY and alternative OSes, I haven’t seen much discussion taking place in regards to some of the alternative sites and software provided on the list here:
>>16982 And, it doesn’t seem like people are all that interested in switching platforms, so that needs to see about changing. If you’re ‘’’NOT’’’ already using one of the sites on here, start experimenting with a few of them and report back on how some of them could improve. If you ‘’ARE’’ using one of the sites, bring up features and content that you think the site is lacking. If it’s something the site’s developers can solve, send them an email. If it’s lacking content, post about what kind of content would best suit the site in question so that others can post that content and/or post it yourself. If it’s because it’s lacking “users”, for those still using regular social media, have you considered sending a message to ‘’ANY’’ of the people you follow and asked them if they can start posting content on these other sites.
>Hindering current market leaders
A couple of threads back, there was some discussion in regards to finding way to make Jewtube even more of a hindrance than it already is. The consensus seems to boil down to making bloated size video files, with insane resolutions, in extremely limited codecs, that last for hours on end. However, this kind of idea only affects Gulag’s bottom line and doesn’t make the site more difficult to use for it’s actual users. So, I was wondering if there was a way to cause the sites to become even more limited so that people start searching for alternatives, and extend the “attack” to outside Gulag as well.
What are your thoughts?
