>Macron
>Raging leftist
Nah, Melenchon is a raging leftist, this guy is a centrist.
Le Pen is just around to tell the lower class what they wanna hear, she's got no interest in being put in a position where she actually has to follow through with it, not that I think she's actually competent enough to do anything,
Macron is competent and he could definitely make things happen, he just doesn't have interests that align with most people in France so the things that will happen are just gonna fuck us over, and he's got a few snakes around him looking for a chance to fuck him over like he fucked over both the main parties.

Yeah, but he might just be arrogant enough to try it anyways, he could also wait for a year or two then dissolve the assembly if he wants, which would both be a blessing and a curse

>and they did the same in this one
Nope, 3rd place guy (Mélenchon, actual leftie) said explicitly that he wanted people not to vote Le Pen but that he didn't mean people should vote Macron instead, this guy had 23% of the vote it's not insignificant, and he's got some pull in the rest of the left wing as well so you're looking at 30-35% of people having a reason to listen to this guy.
There's no real call to counter Le Pen, not anywhere near the same way as it was in 2002 and 2017 anyways, among the lefties I know only the worst parisian types are even gonna bother voting at all, which is in stark contrast to 2017 where most voted Macron, even the ones that knew he would entirely fuck them over.
The only reason I think Macron might win is he fucking nuked Le Pen from orbit in the debates.
