I think people don't understand the leifmotif of Akumajou Dracula and the point of the Belmonts in the first place. This is just going to be my take on this one:
Dracula, or Count Vladimir Tepes Dracula in the series as it was became the prime evil in all Akumajou Dracula games, is more than just the representation of evil in the world. His existence in the series could be akin to the dragons in the legends of the Western world, as it represents everything that's wrong with humans, mainly the 7 deadly sins, and how it ruins nations, societies and even families to any extents.
Now with the Belmonts and the Christian symbolisms, I think the Belmonts represents the heroes of the time, for example, when the Valois king, the young Charles VII, was about to lose France at the height of the siege of Orleans, in 2 years after, a farm lass by the name of Jehanna La Pucelle, or Jeanne D' Arc or Joan of Arc, called upon herself to the reinforcement of God to help the Dauphin of France, which was Charles VII, to make sure that she'll liberate France from its English conquerors and crowned in Reims Cathedral to solidify himself as the true King of France. The Belmonts represented the heroes at those turbulent times that stepped up to the plate to either liberate or defend, not just nations, but also its independence, solidarity, society, history and culture. The Christian symbolism is just romanticism throughout the series, because why not. Christian symbolism is quite cool in the eyes of many, no matter from what religion or nation you're from.
