>>224589 Well, to enlighten you, Phantasy Star Universe was an online RPG that launched on the PS2 before the HDD was out - so to chase the trend of regular updates - without an actual ability to provide new content - Sega had the bright idea to just lock 95% of the game on the disk. People were literally just running Plains Overlord over and over again since it was the only area that had a boss, no rares were available (since you only had Normal and Hard difficulties), and there was literally nothing else to do. They then drip fed content in one mission at a time every two weeks or so. What made it even more hilarious is that all of the content that they locked away for the online mode - was there day one in the offline story mode. So you got to see all this content and areas and bosses that you couldn't actually access online with your friends almost all the way up until Ambition of the Illuminus (it's expansion) launched and they started to speed up the content releases. Phantasy Star Nova feels like being stuck about six months into that model. If your only experience with PS is PS2 and Blue Burst - then get PSP2i. It really is top tier for the online series, especially now with the english patch available.
