>I didn't see Funny games and mad god, they're at least entertaining to watch, or are some 3deep5you pretentious shit?
Funny Games is just a film about a pair of brothers psychologically torturing a family of three before killing them off one by one.
Mad God is a stop motion film about a priest that sends endless Kerberos clones into the deepest pits of Hell with a briefcase bomb for the purposes of ending all the chaos (
At least, that's the closest there IS to a fucking plot ). "Artistically", only the latter is worth watching because of all the time and effort put into making such a dedicated and unique stop motion production that really shows the creative talent of the people behind it. I say that with zero exaggeration or sarcasm. Despite what I'm about to say, it is perhaps one of the creative and dedicated films I have ever seen, with the amount of detail and work that went into it that should be applauded.
REALISTICALLY both of them are complete and utter trash that one can toss into the nearest dumpster as they're not missing a damn thing. The former is grating as it just never fucking ends and is more sadistic than anything horrifying, not to mention the asspull in that the brothers have the power of God on their side, and the director even came out and said that the film is utterly pointless. Meanwhile, the latter is just complete and utter randomness. There is no plot to the film. What I told you is the closest that can be "interpreted" from the images on display, but much of the film is just perusing through "Hell" and seeing various forms of pain and torture in some of the most creative ways I have ever seen to the point that it almost becomes comical. Like I said, I'm was not flattering the film for praising it's creativity and dedication as that is entirely genuine, however the irony is that all of it is wasted to make the most pointless and grotesque waste of time and money anyone has probably ever seen, where each subsequent minute tries to endlessly top itself in how vomit-inducing the previous visuals shown was. The
only reason why it will ever be talked about in the future is entirely due to it's grotesque nature (
Which would make any sane person want to find religion after watching it ) rather than anything actually praise worthy and a beauty to watch endlessly.
Put simply,
NO , neither is entertaining to watch, and neither has any deep moral behind it. It's just nothing but pain and sadness.
