I think it's important to catalog the ways crazy politicals use to defend their weird ass woke game bullshit where they insert shit.
If you want a great example, check the Mass Effect 3 article on TV Tropes, it's horribly guilty of all of the signs, most of the site is.
The signs are
>Elimination of Negativity until convenient.
Any criticism of the thing in question is brushed off or half-admitted while piling on praise or adulation. While the article in question acknowledges issues, it goes on and on about shipping, character moments ad infinitum, deluging the article in a mass of bias that ultimately weighs towards positive. On smaller articles on the site, no negativity is allowed. On "incorrect" pieces of media, negativity is allowed.
>Word association, aka Brilliance from Thin Air
The article makes massive assumptions based on flawed logic in the Fridge section. The most common form of this is word association. The format is usually: "Consider the definition of this word" > "This word means this thing" > "This thing the writers clearly did not intend is this thing" > "Therefore, they are brilliant for writing it this way". In this way, defenders of political crap can forge narratives from whole cloth based on assumption and flawed logic that does not consider the context behind the information, only warped definition and bias.
>Forced Emotional Categorization
One of the reasons the site is so woke is because it forcibly categorizes emotional moments, literally telling you what to feel. Ad infinitum. The site has categories for this. "Heartwarming", "Nightmare Fuel", "YMMV" (Your milage may vary), "Fridge" and "Analysis" (crackpot theory zone), and "Awesome" (marvel fan reaction type cringe zone). By telling you what to feel, they attempt to control how you feel.
