In spite of all the autism I went through to catalog all those lolicon hentai and their textual focus on little girls and pedophilic taboo, thanks to a discussion in this thread, I've come to the conclusion that even that 36.60%, roughly 1 in 3, lolicon hentai with significant textual focus on the loli being a little girl and/or on the guy being a pedophile, aren't necessarily true pedophilia. I've been convinced of what I'm calling the cleanliness argument. Even if a story features strong anatomy, realism, and fetishism of prepubescence and the taboo of pedophilia, it's separation from ugliness of reality through idealized depictions is often still strong enough that the average consumer is someone likely disgusted with real children in a sexual context, and thus not a true pedo. I may simply be convinced of this argument because it fits my bias. I like many degenerate things in hentai that I despise in real life, even realistic fetishism of pedophilia and child rape in lolicon works such as Loli Friends (Loli Tomodachi) and Geiger Counter, both by Quzilax. I was convinced I was a pedo for that sort of thing, but my fellow gaymergayters have convinced me otherwise.
But I still feel the need to categorize this group, that has strong attraction to that 1/3, as well as others into idealized fictional depictions of things that sexually disgust them in real life, such as many otokonokofags that hate real dick, scat and watersports fags that hate the real thing, gurofags, feral furfags, et cetera. An anon suggested a thread or so ago, as a joke, the term 2Degenerates, but it doesn't quite feel right to me. It doesn't roll off the tongue well enough, and I don't think accurately describes all the groups it applies to either. For instance, liking fit girls or chubby girls, but not real chubby girls or grossly fit girls isn't really "degenerate", yet having that taste and disliking the real thing strongly enough would qualify one for this group. And this group does not have perfect overlap with all haters of 3DPD, 2DOnlyfags which LGBTPBBQ is trying to co-opt with gay terms like toonsexual , as this group isn't exclusive of those that like some form of 3DPD. So does anyone have better idea for a term for this? Something that doesn't sound like some gay new LGBTXYZ label?
