I made some PMVs in the past, here is my tips to people who want others to cum their lives away:
1. a PMV should have a "story", or a theme. It should have ups and downs, not just random clips in sequence. Example: don't mix blacked porn with grainy amateur videos from 2011. Don't do anal/blowjob/fuck/anal in 3 seconds (unless you have a good reason to do it)
2. a PMV should be synced to the music. I can't believe I have to say this, but the whole point is to have the scenes follow the music. Many don't do this at all
3. you should use effects wisely. Effects can enhance PMVs a lot if used properly.
Most common mistake is putting complex effects for no reason, almost at random.
Instead effects should guide the eye or enhance the action. Look at the sequence of Material Girl from the great FelrobPMV (who doesn't post anymore):
>shaking of the camera to enhance the handjob movement. Also notice the girls expression: Felrob could have chosen a moment where the girl just had the mouth open the whole time, instead he chose a moment where the girl grinned (increasing the understanding of the emotion)
>text "proper credit" on the cock
>back to the girl in the handjob sequence to let the viewer enjoy her more after he got "denied" by the jump to another clip
>ace of spades symbol, subtle enough to not bother and to center the action
>girl looks at camera and she has red eyes, to emphasize her lust
Notice also how, despite the shortness and the off and on in the sequence of the blonde girl, you still acquire the idea that there is a hot, young girl happy for bbc
4. When there is a music change, you should show an action that ends the sequence, guides the eye and introduces the next sequence. This is not easy to achieve, but it increases the quality of the fap a lot:
For example, if you go on the discord and look at PMVs posted there recently, in w513dx.mp4 the girl in the middle video stops dancing and gives a kiss at 00:18 just before the music increases its rhythm. This helps feeling the change in music and sequence.
Another example was a PMV I can't find where the girl looked on her right like she saw something, just before the music dropped and the porn sequence started
5. This is more of an opinion on the definition of the genre, but PMVs, unlike hypnos, should give the time for the image to get acquired by fapper's brain, not change clip every one second (this rule can be broken for short sequences, depending on the music)
Was this extremely autistic and peak coomer? Maybe.
I accept advices and tecniques to make good PMVs.
