Is this board dead? Are you drawing anons...?

>>6599 kind of. have a drawing.
>>6599 For the most part yeah, but there's been some activity recently. I participated in Inktober but since then haven't really had much time between work and real life stuff.
It's been a while. I'm ashamed about posting because I haven't been practicing in a while and I'm not improving
>>6599 I check in once in a while and do draw. I just haven't posted in a while since a lot of it is practice stuff and lately I have been focusing on learning digital art.

>>6599 Came to ask just this, OP. I've been coming up with a design/template for a relief carving of a dragon. This is what I've got so far.
>>6609 Ooh, very cool. Designing currency sounds like a pretty fun project.
>>6610 Cheers. That's where I first got the idea, those silver coins with st George and the dragon.
aaa anons wake up and draw! it's time again
Couldn't get my tablet working after moving my computer so I ended up drawing some boxes and forms with the mouse instead. That shit's hard, there was this guy back on Newgrounds I think who animated a few videos solely with his mouse and now I wonder if he gave himself carpal tunnel doing it.
>>6624 I know a guy who does pretty good stuff with a mouse too but it's just a dumb thing to stick with for any appreciable amount of time. Do you have any drawings of yours from before your tablet had broken? What kind was it?

>>6609 Going to hopefully start carving tomorrow, with that simpler design, but made a different design and added filters to make it look like a coin.

Having fun making these now.

Coming up with another carved dragon idea but for a guitar body. Fairly happy with it. Added a few filters and some colour to see what it might look like on wood with some staining. Relied more on tracing and editing photos of real animals (monitor lizard, bat and goat) and in the right position (3/4 view) because I'm still rubbish especially at perspective.

>>6649 Two improved versions.
>>6649 Good work, are you thinking of making something real with them? Make sure to post that too

>>6651 That's the plan. Got a piece of mahogany just big enough to cut in half, glue together and turn into a guitar body (plus squashed headstock depending on if I do an extreme cutaway (picrel). Would like to have a go at a 7 string 26.5 inch scalelength guitar, but finding exact measurements to start with the body (rather than placing the bridge after having a completed neck) is proving difficult. Might have to sneak a ruler into a guitar shop. I could start with the dragons, might have to. If that means nothing to non guitarfags it's because I don't know what I'm doing.
