Inktober 2024 Anonymous 09/27/2024 (Fri) 05:39:33 No. 6771
Get ready for Inktober The challenge is to make one drawing each day based on the prompts in the image. Inktober is traditionally meant for practicing inking, but any from of art is welcome and encouraged. Some people do the daily challenge and aim for consistency, while others choose a specific set of prompts to focus on. If you do not like the prompts here and still want to participate, there are other lists you can follow instead. Regardless of what you do, the main goal is to encourage anons to practice. We are all trying to become better artists, so no matter where you are starting from, don't be shy to share your artwork. Also feel free to ask for feedback or constructive criticism. Good luck and have fun!

>>6777 Wanted to jaguar but missed yesterday. For binoculars I thought I'd draw sogeking's mask, and then I kinda realized I could do both if I stretched the meanings a bit. Also, I won't do this for every day, but these are the references / things I basically just traced.
Nice work lad, keep it up

>>6778 The idea is pretty generic, but I am surprised how many days this could have fit. Many of the prompts seem to the about the "outdoors." >>6779 thanks anon, join bitch please

>>6788 Thanks, anon. You're doing well, yourself. I'm not satisfied with pic related, but at least it shows me what to work on. I'll try harder for the next one.

>>6788 >>6789 I agree, getting out of your comfort zone and learning where you're weak is definitely an plus.

>>6789 Tried to do a background again to push myself a bit. Tips and critique are appreciated.
>>6798 Too much white space in the background.
>>6798 Feels pretty well balanced to me, I like it. Two things stand out to me though; the folds on the lower part of her boobs don't need to be there, the fabric would be relatively taut if it's filled out by them. I think it's fine up around the thinner portions though. Secondly, the perspective on the box is a bit off - it would be wider at the top if you're looking down on it, not the other way, assuming it has the shape of a cube. Although at a relatively neutral perspective like this I think it would have been fine to draw the verticals completely vertical unless you really wanted a bit of extra dynamism. Apart from that I think this is really nice, she's cute. Well done

>>6798 >>6799 >>6800 Thanks for the advice! I agree with them all. I completely blanked on the box perspective somehow.
(815.35 KB 1512x2016 IMG_1601 - grungy.JPG)

>>6803 Good! I see what you're going for with those lines in the hands but overdoing them just makes the hands look older than you may intend them to.

Been kinda burned out on drawing this month. Is it just me or are the prompts more themed than the years before? Don't change perspective mid-drawing. It never ends well.
>>6806 Based and Bean pilled Yes the prompts are widely considered to be bad this year
(852.46 KB 1512x2016 IMG_1604 - journal.JPG)

>>6804 welp I'm back. Not caught up but back.

>>6809 Ridge is so unbelievable shit I might redo it, but given how far behind I am I don't think I have the time to.
>>6811 Doesn't look bad to me, just add a little more detail/hatching maybe
Good job everyone who participated. I tapped when I saw the mono-thematic prompts.
