Welcome to /vault/! /vault/ an archival board for the preservation of the 8chan's most important threads. Once thread creation is disabled, this will be the only active thread on the board. There are only three rules for posting in this thread: 1. replies to this thread MUST: a. contain a link to the thread that is requested to be archived and SHOULD include a brief synopsis, or b. discuss the subject archiving or administration of this board. 2. if a reply or a substantial portion of a reply does is not meet this criteria outlined above, it is subject to moderation. The rules for myself and any other board volunteer are as follows: 1. threads that have been archived her WILL NOT be: a. deleted without justifiable cause, b. modified beyond appending or removing posts made after archival, with exception that there are contents of the thread are: i. illegal, ii. contain information deemed sensitive, or iii. against the rules of the site. 2. threads that do not meet the criteria and purpose of this board WILL NOT be removed without advance notice of at least three days. 3. if there exists an archival board deemed more suitable for a specific thread, it will be moved there. All of this is subject to change, but I think it's pretty solid for now. Policy is lax for now given current circumstances.

Hopefully in a few weeks the Sprite and Mario paint thread can be moved or better yet cloned back to /v/ when the catalog settles down. Squilliam should be regarded as a permanent resident I think.

Crossposting here so it doesn't get lost. It's my hacky solution to disable thread posting. I'm not going to push the issue until Codexx has a better handle on things.
