Whats an anime that will turn me from a shut-in loser into a human being?

Ideally you probably have some good family at least, ask them for help, look for some churches or something. Anime is a bit unfair in that there are a lot of protagonists who magically get someone who is willing to help them out, or start out with some people, though in most people's cases they at least have their families or someone close to them they can talk to at least like a best friend, or something. The only anime I can think of that has a chance to change your life for the better is Gurren Lagann or maybe Hajime no Ippo, but its usually not a magical solution or anything like that unless it really just hits hard enough with you to snap you out of it and inspire you. Personally, I enjoyed the show overall. Trying to find something new to watch so I've been checking out assorted things Space Runaway Ideon has a really good OP, better than I expected for the 80s, and its first episode was a good first impression; I might watch it later but considering its supposed to be quite tragic, maybe I'm not in the mood right now for such things.
