Will do.
I added some shows for the season that I noticed people either talked about, or were generally popular enough to grab attention, feel free to suggest any that are missing; source was Anilist For my part, what I'm most looking forward to in this season thus far is Konosuba S3, the other stuff isn't really as much on my radar just yet. I wish they'd just give us 25+ episode seasons again, it feels like I'm being drip-fed all the good shit.
>>3030 What exactly is the appeal of konosuba? There aren't any interesting adventures, half the time the party stays in the town, doesn't have interesting world, it has some funnies but they don't commit to it to make it a fully fleshed comedy. At times it feels not even like an isekai (which maybe a good thing). It has slice of life characters who don't take their jobs seriously. Im not dissing this I'm genuinely curious what konosuba enjoyers like about it.
>>3031 Well explaining why you like a comedy is kind of a faggy thing to do, but I'll explain some of the reasons why I personally like it. >Kazuma is an excellent protagonist He's a fairly intelligent, maniacal and self-interested gamer shitposter bastard with a lot of snark and cutting sarcasm, who doesn't give a fuck about a bunch of retarded useless hoes who are after his dick and will routinely use them. His actions taken are usually hilarious like how he'll troll people he doesn't like with his abilities (like the one blonde faggot with the big sword or the chick whose panties he steals), and his misfortune is also equally fun to laugh at, he's great for what he is. >great character designs Konosuba's character designs are all pretty much top-tier. Visually striking, distinctive, iconic, and aesthetically appealing, plus the girls are fucking hot and the stylistic choices add to the appeal, like Aqua being a dumbfuck who wears invisible panties with her ass always showing. Before I ever watched Konosuba, I saw the characters pop up and I wondered who they were because they had fantastic designs, and then I eventually found out where they were from. >enjoyable character writing All of the characters have their own appeal in some way or another, and their gimmicks and traits end up in amusing escapades and fucking Kazuma over in unexpected ways, like Aqua's goddess status causing issues for them in certain places, Darkness being, well, Darkness, and so on. The group falling into debt was always a laugh because of Kazuma trying his best with herculean efforts to get out of it, only to get fucked by his gaggle of retards. >the world and plot services the comedy They have a vague, simple and open-ended but lofty goal in mind to beat the demon king, and a lot of problems and issues before they ever get there. One of the Demon King's commanders being a hot shemale who baits Kazuma is an amusing example of said thing. They don't know they're gonna deal with such issues. Plus each places, groups of people, factions and characters can be interesting and amusing in their own right, like the succubus brothel or Megumin's village of chuuni. >fanservice and quality of it Its all good. Basically, Konosuba appeals on the fronts that makes sense for a lewd comedy. The plot and world is a vehicle for the show, and allows for a sense of progression so the show doesn't feel completely episodic and also allows for investment and new escapades, characters and whatnot to appear it also will end up rewarding those who continually watch it for the inside jokes and gags that will naturally appear in a growing world. Its proceeding at a relatively slow pace in the anime, but unlike episodic comedy, there is progress being slowly made and things do get fleshed out more with the cast growing larger and the world growing in scope, and its well-executed for a comedy.
>>3034 So it is not an isekai first and focus, it is a comedy but a slow burn comedy. Not relying on episodic punchlines and skits. It's boring for someone like me who likes serious stuff like re:zero and lol comedy like some episodes of gintama. Guess I'll have to wait a few years to finally get these kinds of shows. >Fanservice Can't deny that
>>3034 Think of it as this way - kazuma is a fairly standard written character. He's not strong, he's not heroic, he's not smart, he's bashful, he can't get any girl with his personality, but he's thrown into an isekai where the rules are fairly simple. He's forced to be brave, forced to be smart, his cunning plots don't work and backfires but he still goes on. That's a sign of a good character driven story, regardless of which anime it's in. Same with all the other characters Megumi, aqua, yun yun etc. This is the basis of a good character driven show where the characters are the bread and butter. You watch the show because of the characters, doesn't matter what they're involved in CIA you know the writers are gonna making it interesting.

>>3037 >Involved in CIA damn
>>3030 Thank you Miku.
>>3036 I'm still mad they nerfed Darkness' abs
>>3042 What happened?
I watched this “My Clueless First Friend”. It was nice, a girl has some odd eyes and her stare makes people uncomfortable so shes teased and called “The Grim Reaper” and everyone avoids her. During this bullying a new student sees this and is fascinated by her and befriends her. Breddy wholesome, kinda formulaic but whatever.
>>3046 I miss whimsical school friendship anime like this. No romance, no hijinks, just simple opening up to a friend
>>3043 They made her fat instead of giving her a rock solid six pack
>>3052 Wtf, why
>>3053 dunno.

>Dr. Stone: New World I wonder what took so long for the next season to be released.
