I read some of the manga when I was in a bookstore once years ago, here is my take. The art is good, artist does porn and you can tell. Lot of fetish stuff, including some /ss/ material and some dark skinned trap content. Story wise it is more than a smidge melodramatic, it contained a lot of elements focused on integrating vampire society and human society. To that end, the main female protagonist (ab)uses her position in vampire society to do a bunch of shit in pursuit of this that seems more than a little beyond the pale and winds up causing problems for people. The manga likes to downplay the problems she makes or pretends they are actually good things which for me at least seems very leftist. Humans are depicted, in general, as being incompetent and sometimes banally evil. The "old guard" amongst the vampires is more competent but equally villainous so they come off as worse since their motivations are more "political scheming" than "if the vampires/immigrants move in it will destroy our society". It can be both good rage fuel and fap fuel if you give it the chance but don't go in expecting much more. While the fights are cool in concept their portrayal on the page left a bit to be desired. That being said, while looking for pictures I saw a clip or two from the anime, it looks like the fight scenes have more impact in motion.
