Post all small questions here that do not warrant their own thread. I am reading Dagashi Kashi, but a complete torrent for all the chapters does not seem to exist; furthermore, Emblem scans has only stranslated up to c162 so far. Does anyone have an archive of the manga?
Why is anime so shit this year?
Will the BO eventually have banner submissions?
>>60 After the initial novelty of anime wears off, and you start branching out and paying closer attention to the quality of shows (like the depth and originality of the storyline, or how well the show's animated), most new shows seem like shitty, generic, cliche-filled cashgrabs. People were saying the same thing 10 years ago on 4/a/, 20 years ago on anime forums, and 30 years ago on usenet. The solution is to just stop watching 20 shows per season, and only watch the few that you find genuinely intriguing or entertaining. If there's only a couple that you like, fill in the gaps by watching older shows that you might have missed or overlooked.
>>79 Do what I do: intersperse it with Japanese, Korean and Chinese cult cinema and television series (ideally a range of genres and styles) in order to avoid burnout.
>>79 >After the initial novelty of anime wears off (...) most new shows seem like shitty, generic, cliche-filled cashgrabs ? Have you perhaps considered that you just MIGHT not actually like anime? If you really feel this way you should go home to whatever poz pasture you came from!

What are the best sub group batches for both of these shows? Real sub groups only. Not CR sub rippers.

Is there any place akin to the Genesis Library where I can get all the anime and manga I want online for free?
>>56 Why do people like clamp so much? Is it because they are all girls?
>>357 Also, what is written on the bat in xxxholic? I am watching the dub and don't feel like finding the sub video and the Internet was slow at the time I saw the scene and I moved on the next day and etc. What is it? Sword? My Internet search had something named batto, so it's like saying y at the end of something in English? like, batty, but that doesn't work with bats because of the flying rodent.... so, like, just as a suffix meaning of itself? yeah? This bat is a bat? Or dose it say katana because that'd be more clever and cool but less funni.
If anyone can see this, is the new release of Shaman King by Kodansha fully uncensored?

Are there any perfect batches out there for Gurren Lagann? What I'm looking for is simple. >no typos >no misspellings >no english audio default >uncensored episode 6 >no dubtitles
>>513 Let me check my collection. I can't remember if I replaced my old episodes with new ones entirely or not. I think the old ones were uncensored and quality, but lower resolution. The newer ones might have mistakes, since I haven't watched through them yet. Usually I like to watch the new release before deleting old ones, but sometimes I need disk space.
>>83 I know I'm over a year late, but this is fucking retarded. That's like saying if you don't like every cartoon the US pumps out, you don't like cartoons. No, some are good and some are bad. Actually, as with most things, most are bad. But there are good ones, so go and find them. I don't know why you think every single stupid kids' show that gets shat out of japan must be good.
(39.24 KB 967x457 commie memesubs.png)

>>548 I found one release that has nearly perfect subs for the series but it seems like for the compilation movies the only releases there are are commie subs. Which I don't wanna use for obvious reasons. https://nyaa.si/view/1292564
Why is /a/ of all boards dead?
>>562 Because the userbase is spread thin between the webring /a/ & /animu/.
(407.62 KB 899x500 m_mint.png)

I've been trying to listen to every song Shoji Meguro has ever released, and I found out that he supposedly made the music for an anime/live-action hybid movie called Mint, but I can't find enough info on it to tell if it even actually released. I've found a few articles mentioning it being in the works back in 2013 (https://archive.md/rBvWQ) and I found it listed on the production company's website (https://archive.md/voJNf). Did this movie release and quickly fade into obscurity, or is it still trapped in development hell?
Can anyone please tell me where I can find all episodes of the Talentless Nana Mini Anime? I found some subtitle files so it doesn't matter if they aren't subtitled, but I cannot find the full set in any language. On Invidious/YouTube some episodes have Spanish subtitles but I am unable to find episode 6 in particular at all.

Could someone help me with finding anime to watch. I have a list of series that I'm interested in watching, but I'm unsure which series have accurate translations rather than pozzed or rewritten subs. And sites like AniDB only list if subs exist at all, not necessarily their quality or the source of them (For example, it lists several CR/Funni rips). >>851 if i could read what you just posted, i would be very offended
can we talk about vtubers here?
So with the lastest chapter, was that miura's chapter in his constant effort to make guts and the audience suffer cuckery?
>>916 I don't know, but I do know you'd be better off posting on /animu/. I have no idea why anyone would suggest using 8moe /a/ besides wanting everything centralized here. The plot and theme have been at odds ever since the Golden Age ended anyways, and I'm surprised to see no one but me has ever pointed it out.
Just curious: How much truth was there to the joke conspiracy theory that Abe was requesting that anime and manga stories feature more voluptuous, chubby, older female characters in order to drive up Japan's birth rate and get otaku breeding?
>>922 It would make sense, the same with gate being JSDF propaganda. >>918 How about you go there and you let me do whatever the flying fuck i want to do?
(65.00 KB 252x210 1585759056023.png)

I'm really annoyed at sjw crap in my animus Are there reliable subs which do not use they/them pronouns (like the one for MiA S2 does)?
>>982 Nanachi has no canon sex.
>>922 Older women are hags, that would destroy Japans birth rate. Young more fertile slim girls only in manga, no jealous wall hit hags. Let the Jap babies flow, fuck right off Jew lords, fear the Samurai anime thin girl lovers!
>>982 It's been a frequent thought in my mind that perhaps this is a good reason to learn Spanish. I cannot remember what game it was, but on /v/, there was some kind of JRPG that had a clearly, deliberately botched translation, meanwhile the Spanish version was untouched. It seems to me that this SJW-stuff doesn't really infect the Spanish-speaker's experience of animu. I don't know how reliable Spanish-subs are, but nonetheless, it's definitely on my mind to either learn Spanish and flee to Spanish-weeb communities, or learn Japanese and just watch raws. I feel like, deep down, SJWs know that Latin America is never going to tolerate the LGBT-crap, and because they're (natural spanish-speakers) a minority, they're basically untouchable.
>>1011 As a spic i can tell you our animu is still untouched and mostly done by fan translation groups.
>>1012 Fellow spic here, can confirm
>>982 learn jap desu
Are there any sites that have RSS feeds for new episodes/seasons? I have a hard time keeping track of anime.
What the fuck happened to all the raw groups? Over the past 2 or so years, I've noticed groups like leopard raws slowly fade out of existence, but about two seasons ago, the last group or two I know of suddenly started being really inconsistent with releases, and as of last month, even ohys raws seems to have completely stopped releasing. I suspect local law enforcement in Japan cracked down on the people recording the shows in the first place, but if anyone knows anything about this, I'd like to know for sure. "But there's tons of other raw providers out there." No, there aren't. All the other "raws" are Crunchyroll/Funi's shit with their splash screens removed. I'd rather not have to settle for censored stuff with an average file size 2.8x bigger than raws.
>>2335 What about Reinforce?
>>2354 They specialize in BD rips, so I'll never be able to see anything currently airing using their stuff. Also, their files sizes are some of the most bloated I've ever seen because of uncompressed, lossless audio. Seeing as how I'm all but deaf in one ear and hear slightly below average in the other, fancy audio does nothing for me. If there are no other options, I'll suck it up and go with them, but they're definitely a last resort.
Looking for the 3 episodes of Ring ni Kakero 1: Shadow-Hen that got subbed, if anyone could help? The releases on nyaa are dead and seem to have been dead for ages, and I'm not in any private trackers. If possible, could someone check around if the other half of this OVA got subbed, as well as its follow up? It's a relatively obscure anime, so I wouldn't be surprised if the anidb page just wasn't updated (but at the same time, if it's obscure it probably wouldn't get subbed either). Here's the nyaa releases as well, but they're dead and have been for ages. https://nyaa.si/view/185760 https://nyaa.si/view/199501 https://nyaa.si/view/225963
>>797 >Bouken Gabotenjima Not subbed >Ougon Bat 4/52 https://nyaa.si/view/1377167 >Combattler V Official English SDBD https://nyaa.si/view/1282940 >Getter Robo Inconsistent video and sub quality, but it's subbed, both OG and G. Go is in the process of getting subbed. <Getter Robo https://nyaa.si/user/sasword?q=getter&f=0&c=0_0 <Getter Robo G https://nyaa.si/view/173664 (seems to be dead right now) <Getter Robo Go https://nyaa.si/view/1623607 (keep an eye on his upload page for future releases) >Groizer X Only complete release is by ARR, who make dogshit releases since they don't speak English. https://nyaa.si/?q=groizer+x&f=0&c=1_2 >Born Free https://nyaa.si/view/988839 >La Seine no Hoshi Only one episode got subbed, again by ARR, so it is basically raw only (there is a French dub though). >Wakakusa no Chrlotte https://helenafansubs.blogspot.com/2021/09/wakakusa-no-charlotte-english-subtitles.html >Zambot 3 This is a weird one, since both Kulot and a few other people got scrubbed from the internet a while back, and they had the best current Zambot releases. If you have access to a private tracker or the original torrent file, there should still be seeders on it, but all that's left on the public side is sxales mediocre release. If you really want to though, over on halfchan's /m/ board there's an in progress project where one guy is fixing up the older subs (had default styling, timing and grammar errors), and you could just pair that with a good raw, but I think he's only 14 episodes or so in. >Golion https://nyaa.si/view/1125556 >Galvion https://nyaa.si/view/1340386 >Macross English BDs for much of the series are going to release soon, which might change some things here. I'll provide the first four series here. <SDF Macross Two different prominent releases for this one. KuchikiRukia is the first; https://nyaa.si/view/1048331 Sxales is the second https://nyaa.si/view/1207567 Pick your poison <Macross: Do You Remember Love Movie version of SDF, don't skip it https://nyaa.si/view/1009152 <Macross Plus https://nyaa.si/view/471731 <Macross 7 (w/OVAs and bonus episodes) https://nyaa.si/view/1369268
[Expand Post]>Borgman https://nyaa.si/user/MartyMcflies?q=borgman&f=0&c=0_0 >Daicon III & IV An official remaster is in the works for IV if I recall. https://nyaa.si/view/696994 >Ideon Again, several mecha releases got removed, so these might not be the best for public. [EG] for TV https://nyaa.si/view/1080110 [hydes] for Be Invoked https://nyaa.si/view/1557152 The rest on your list seem pretty straightforward. For more popular ones at Evangelion, I'd look towards the size of the release, as the smaller ones tend to use a DNR'd release (the lack of grain allowing for that smaller size). There's also Digimon, which will be receiving a blu ray soon that looks to improve on the older JPBD that had smeared early digital colours. A warning for Xabungle is to stay away from the SDBD release as it has more ghosting than the older DVD one, and avoid releases from "batches' or sxales, as they tend to lower the quality of the visuals dramatically. This spreadsheet will also help for more modern anime as well as Gundam. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PJYwhjzLNPXV2X1np-S4rdZE4fb7pxp-QbHY1O0jH6Q/edit#gid=0
Was Halo Legends worth watching? I just remembered it existed the other day.
Are there full eng subs of "Nessa no Haou Gandalla"? All i could find were episodes 1 & 2 with english subs. I know there are complete BR RU and even arabic subs for the show. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVCJN2yF6ls

Are there any anime about milf and loli fanservice?
>>3149 343 really just completely ass rammed everything good about that series. Kind of impressive to fuck up that badly across the board for so long too. Just completely incapable of learning from their mistakes. I blame MS. They mastered the art of mismanaging dev teams. >>3197 As in both at once or just one or the other?
>>3208 >As in both at once or just one or the other? an anime with both milf and loli fanservice.
Why did, in episode six of Spiral The Bonds Of Reasoning, Rio blow up a small bomb in front of the protagonists? She says it's to make them unable to notice her missing seventh rib bone but why did she do it in front of them; she could have done it elsewhere and drew less suspicion? Also, she says that the Blade Children should assume the police detective know about their missing seventh right rib, so how would blowing herself up and getting sent to hospital prevent the police finding out she has it missing; in hospital this type of information is more likely to come out? Is this answered in the next episodes or is the audience expected to already understand this?
>>3357 I rewatched the episode with different subtitles and one of my questions is answered: it turns out the bomb destroys her chest and a couple of ribs so the police wouldn't be able to check if she was missing the seventh right rib bone beforehand. The other question is still valid. Can somebody please delete >>3359 since I messed up my syntax when trying to mark spoilers?
>>3360 Taken care of

Does the Freezing manga have NTR?
Are there any subtitle groups to avoid? I know HorribleSubs were, indeed, rips of horrible crunchyroll translations; are there other groups that localize the translations too much? In general, how do you choose which subtitles to use?
>>3624 To an extent, yes. The context in the series is that main girl was sexually tortured by her step-brother, and there's this entire arc where she and MC stay in the hotel belonging to said step-brother, and he continues to torture his step-sister while they stay there. I forget how the entire thing is resolved, but the step-brother apologizes over how much he tortured his step-sister, and hands MC an SD card containing his home-made incest porno stash (Which MC snaps in half and tosses into the trash).
Does Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?/Tsūjō Kōgeki ga Zentai Kōgeki de ni Kai Kōgeki no Okā-san wa Suki Desuka? Manga have NTR i heard that the mom fucks some bandits while the son watches, is this true?
>>3692 This is something I should look into at some point. I've just been watching whatever for the most part, and there have been a few that were genuinely awful to the point that they kind of soured my initial opinion of a few shows.
Are there any ecchi manga which sexualize men? Ecchi manga normally sexualizes women but the term 'ecchi' doesn't require it be women that are sexualized so I am curious.

>>3834 It's alive... THE BOARD IS ALIVE!
>>3835 No. I was bored waiting for you to see my answer on the /voxxe/ sitch or react to clown baby b8. So I followed you here and said asuka cuz you said rei. Im just bored anon. Also you used that rei pic in GG earlier today already. Between that and the namefagging your easy to follow around. Sadly you arent very interesting. Sucks that im stalking you anyways.
>>3836 I meant to remove the name anyways, sorry about that. I just wish this board was more active than the poopoo shitty diaper board. Seriously, why is /abdl/ more active than like 90% of the board here? Are there really that many fuckers that fetishize E. coli poisoning?
>>3837 It is bizarre for sure. I mean how many people get an erection from shitting themselves? Logically it has to be a low number. And yet the board stays active. Sickos man. Anyways your good. Im just bored and tired cuz I cant sleep. Fuck knows why. Im tired enough. My books boring enough. And yet I cant. Its maddening. Fuck it ima try again anyway.
>>3838 I too am an amnesiac. Can't sleep. Wake up late. Kill me.
>>3837 its because that was an already existing and active community that's stubbornly persistent and followed the site across many websites. A lot of the boards here are basically trying to start from scratch. The active ones all come from existing communities. The remaining members of the old 8chan /a/ and /animu/ boards stick to PLW and Smug (well, whoever's left anyways). The main thing is that people need consistent postings. If there was at least 1-3 posts every day, that will generate activity. Problem is that I'm (and a lot of other people) not consistent in posting, I prefer the "post a bunch of shit all at once" type shit myself, even though the former strategy is better for more consistent growth, its just how I am. RIP. Basically the wheels need to keep moving no matter what and eventually things will work out, its best to be in an opportune place when existing communities do decide to check this place out. That's basically how 8chan prime was decided upon, it seemed to be the best option available at the time.
Does anyone actually believe in the "traps aren't gay" shit, or is my defective autismo brain getting mad at an obvious joke? Like it's a dude, of course it's gay, fag. But I've been seeing so many unironic "femboys"(traps) spout vile, disgusting degenerate shit that I don't know know if the joke's on me or if cuckchan's groomer cult was a success. Back in my day, men loved women. Nowadays, real women are hard to even come by.
Is Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya's onsen O.V.A. officially licensed? I ask because I found two stores which sell a BluRay of part of the Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya series and the back of the BluRay has a picture of a part of the onsen O.V.A. https://store.crunchyroll.com/products/fatekaleid-liner-prisma-illya-2wei-complete-collection-blu-ray-816726025155.html https://www.sentaifilmworks.com/products/816726025155-fate-kaleid-liner-prisma-illya-2wei-seasons-2-and-3-complete-collection-blu-ray
>>3837 it's a pretty popular fetish ("i wish i was a baby again so mommy would love me instead of neglecting me and/or beating me for every little thing" <-- easy to see how child abuse victims could internalize this mindset as children) and there's no home for it on 4chan. /aco/ is just drawn shit, /b/ is inconsistent and only 3D, and it's very socially unacceptable to want to shit yourself so people want an anonymous space to talk about it
(155.38 KB 426x672 Manga chief editor biology.png)

Two questions in regards to Tachiyomi: >1. Which of the extensions do you considered to be the "essential" ones everyone should have downloaded? >2. Is there any extensions dedicated to cataloging series that exist, even if it's just the raws and not scanlation postings?
Does Heavanly Delusions have any trans themes by any chance? I'm interested in the manga but the whole brains-swapping gimmick makes me wonder if it's gonna be hard to keep track of the characters.
