In a shocking twist, Netflix's Wednesday DOESN'T suck. Like the criticisms against Gomez's casting are perfectly apt but everything else was pretty good. Morticia does need more eye makeup though. Anyway the show is basically goth Nancy Drew solving an actually supernatural murder mystery. Addams Family purists may not love it but those who hated the objectively terrible CGI movies will find something to love with this version.
