What kind of stories and shit were you expecting from people? Do you have the major timeline for the first 2 years worked out for GG? That was the most critical time I'd say, and a lot happened. From shit like bomb threats at conventions, to biased debates, to the FBI clearing GG of harassment, to the fake news stories, mass censorship of nearly every major site which discussed GG in a positive light, the IRC logs of aGGro pedophiles like Sarah Nyberg being leaked, all the DDoSing of 8chan and the false flag CP spam of people like Dan Olsen, to the GJP list being dropped, to later things like Shirtgate and Operation Torrential Downpour. IMO its impossible to get a truly comprehensive history or understanding of GG because it encompassed so much and so many different parts of the internet, shit was wild.

It was always shit, but it was a shit response to journalists being cunts about a whore being a whore and getting called out for it. Every single one. Game journos and normal ones. Even the ones "on our side". Most of the anons that weren't grifters probably got frustrated like I did, but I still stand by everything GG did, in the sense that like TB said, it was a blunderbuss of shit and memes aiming blindly. That and the censorship of the discussion. If you mentioned Zoe Quinn on most of reddit, wikipedia, game news websites' comment sections, or most gaming forums, you got banned immediately. Even 4v had the discussion censored eventually and that spawned the exodus. It was very odd how one lackluster wannabe developer received a coordinated effort protecting her reputation. Oddly enough, twitter was the only major social network where discussion was not immediately banned.

It's been 10 years since #GG started, I'm not sure what's the reason behind this or what you'll get from it will be worthwhile. Nearly everyone involved has moved on and people memories of that time are hazy at best. I think the #GG thread could dig up a lot of old stuff. I wouldn't even be against reciting what I remember from that time but it would take me ages and I'm not sure if it would be worth it. Plenty of times we had people come to do a "both sides" documentary only for them to twist the narrative.
