>I believe the sales of shit like one piece and declining sales of capeshit speak for themselves.
Well let's see. The point that we are referring to is this...

>Capeshit only got popular as it did due to it being the only game in town, it going full leftist was the final straw. I'm actually happy to came as I genuinely lost it.
So no, the sales of things like One Piece and declining sales of American capeshit do not directly relate to that. Again, it's like you're not actually addressing the points that are actually being discussed. I mean maybe you could be attempting to make a very weak and indirect argument, but even that has already been addressed, just a few posts above, and you're not even attempting to interact with those arguments, which indicates that you don't have any rebuttal. Since all you've said is a thesis, and a very weak and indirect one, at that, it only indicates that you have no arguments at all.
Anyway, there are still American horror comics out there. I've been checked out of the industry, including the comicsgate stuff, for a while now. Too much old stuff to read instead. I think Richard Meyer put out some horror stuff. I know he did The Expendables Go To Hell, which I assume is horror action. There are probably more but I don't keep up. I obviously wouldn't recommend anything from Marvel, DC, Image, or any other major publisher, even if they are publishing horror stuff. I mean I assume they are, and I assume it's horrifying, but only because it's so bad.
Also there is a lot more horror if you look at capeshit-adjacent stuff. Like Blade gets lumped in with superheroes now, but he began in a Dracula comic that, while technically part of the Marvel Universe, really wasn't superhero stuff. Swamp Thing and Man Thing are also more along those veins. Marvel and DC both have their own cool Frankensteins. DC has a thing called The Creature Commandos, which is like the Universal Monsters but they're in a war comic. I remember the 2011 series of Animal Man tried to lean hard into horror, and really didn't interact with the rest of the DCU as much, except for Swamp Thing and Frankenstein, because they're also horror (and they tried to merge their lore together in some pretty interesting ways). Also if I really wanted to reach I could talk about Justice League Dark, which for some reason they tried to push hard, even with multiple animated movies and almost a live action movie, but while they claim that's horror, I'd say it's a reach even for me.

>Hasn't there been any noteworthy comics that have captured the attention of many people that isn't related to capeshit?
Nobody reads comics anymore, and they haven't since the '90s. But that already dead industry somehow got even deader once the SJWs invaded in 2015. But how recently are we talking here? Because obviously The Walking Dead was a huge hit. The biggest comic hit in decades, in terms of capturing public attention. Now, it got way bigger after the show, but even before the show it was pretty big in terms of a comic capturing public attention. Besides that, I don't think any comics have captured the public's attention since The Death of Superman in 1993. That was pretty much the thing that popped the bubble on the market and destroyed the industry. Nobody has given a fuck about comics since.
Oh yeah, and there was Scott Pilgrim, unfortunately.

>You're ignoring the people who, even if they were involved with GG at some point in time, are at the point where they just want a conversation about vidya with a reasonable amount of people in a reasonable amount of time, wojakshit and garbage moderation(that doesn't necessarily apply to every topic) aside.
Again, it's not about GG. It was never about GG. It's about censorship. I didn't even use /v/ when moot banned Gamergate, but the fact that he did proved the site was truly fucked beyond repair. And frankly, it was already fucked for a long time by then. So the big exodus of users created a viable alternative, and I was glad to take it. Anyone who stuck around after that first big exodus is an unprincipled faggot, and anyone who followed us after only made this site worse by coming here, since they were unprincipled faggots in the first place. Anyone who gave a shit and liked 4chan for the right reasons left at the first opportunity, because those reasons were already long gone.

Bone has been banned? Why? I've been reading it recently, and my only thought has been "I wish I read this when I was like 11 years old, because it's good, but clearly for quite a young audience." Anyway Bone is good though, and it might count as capturing public consciousness to people on this board, since it got a Telltale "game" before the company became big and as hated as they eventually became. Back when people still acted like they were Lucasarts.
