But the Switch's originally developed prominent titles are still clearly pulling in a larger crowd than anything the 3DS ever did. Not in terms of volume (though that did happen, but that always happens in the modern age), but in terms of actually mattering to consumers. Hello anons, I have a question for you guys, especially those who constantly talk about the low PPH/numbers. I have been trying on and off to advertise this board through various means (online games, comment sections, Twitter/X etc.). So far I have to report mixed results. The only place that actually benefited from the ongoing advertisement effort seems to be /2434/ as the Nijisanji drama helped all my posts and comments get pushed up in research and comment sections. For the most part, imageboards have been the worst place to advertise 8chan. Most will just ban you on sight, if they don' have measures in place to stop you from posting links anyhow. Social media brings a lot of bad actors, so I tried to make it the least important branch of my efforts, yet it proved to help the site gain the most users. Comment sections are a mixed bag and online games also likely don't gain much traction as the attention is focused on the objectives or frags. I'd like to ask you guys for help in formulating convincing ways to advertise the platform to external users. I am open to all suggestions and critiques.
