OPERATION MAX REVIVE Rebuild the board's userbase and activity through simple, but effective methods 1. Post across the entire board Activity creates activity. Use threads you like, make new ones if topics don't exist. Easy examples are Drawthreads and Friday Night threads, go request or draw something right now. 2. Recruit and recover lost or potential anons Use this site's OC and features to entice anons if necessary when recruiting, just inform that we are alive. Here's some sites and links with at least some confirmed anons that can be recruited again:
[Expand Post]https://steamcommunity.com/groups/8chotwheels https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SSAVCH https://steamcommunity.com/groups/video_games https://steamcommunity.com/groups/8chmohun https://steamcommunity.com/groups/8chan_monster https://steamcommunity.com/groups/GoodLuckEbolaChan https://steamcommunity.com/search/groups/#text=8ch.net https://steamcommunity.com/search/groups/#text=8chan Other sites that might yield fruitful results and have anons (art sites use an account so you can see 18+ content): https://www.deviantart.com/search?q=Vivian+James https://www.newgrounds.com/search/summary?suitabilities=etm&terms=Vivian%20James https://twitter.com/search?q=Vivian%20James&src=typed_query&f=image https://rpgcodex.net/ https://old.reddit.com/r/KotakuInAction/ Somewhere on Telegram Just searching up GG or 8chan-related terms on certain places/sites can get you possible results. 3. Make your own OC/Memes/Content Doesn't matter what it is even if its just simple edits or full-on drawings or webms, just make it and have fun. Ask in thread for software recs if necessary. 4. Encourage or create fun events, activities, projects, etc. Think things like 8chanmania, weekly streams, re-translation projects, demo days, or zzz's gaming magazine for example. If you want to do something, try making or reviving it, it can't hurt and these things are great for the board. 5. Use other boards All it takes for a board to grow is at least 2 dedicated anons using it. Don't be afraid to make a post, check places periodically, shill, or what have you. Don't force discussions to boards, just encourage the usage of them. 2. OPERATION TRAJAN: Collect and catalog all of the various localization and censorship accounts of past video games into a single repository from these sources: romhacking.net The_Cutting_Room_Floor/tcrf.net Segaretro.org https://redirect.invidious.io/channel/UCFItIX8SIs4zqhJCHpbeV1A Examples: http://archive.vn/XQOHW Sony's policies forces censorship; JP devs allegedly have to go through ENG approval process: https://archive.fo/awzFF - Japanese blog post about it: https://archive.fo/bF9bE Sony Japan President Says PS4 Censorship Policy Is To Match Global Standards And Protect Kids: https://archive.fo/U3GLa - Confirms censorship was deliberate: https://archive.fo/XgAgP - No rules for censorship policies, games judged case-by-case: https://archive.fo/37DhK - Marvelous partner starts petition against policy: https://archive.fo/rxQtf https://archive.fo/84UHo • Twitterfags: Tweet with Sony's stock code $SNE so that investors see your tweets and know you're pissed. • Consider spreading OP Timber materials to targets as well: http://archive.vn/URjtu ONGOING TASKS: A. Japanese translators openly protest government’s AI manga translation initiative https://automaton-media.com/en/news/japanese-translators-openly-protest-government-ai-manga-translation-initiative/ https://archive.is/wip/dnkMg >On June 4, the Japan Association of Translators (JAT) released an open statement against a joint initiative by the Japanese government and private sector companies to use AI for high-volume translation of manga. The association cited that AI’s current limitations and lack of oversight would result in badly translated manga being produced en masse. They argue that this would greatly diminish the value of the works themselves, increase demand for better pirated translations and ultimately damage Japan’s soft power. <Look at their site, https://jat.org/translators <Tons of English names

>>370816 >Persona 5 has major themes about how adults are exploiting and forcing their will on kids. >Hur dur, Right Wingers don't understand the game is talking about them being the shitty adults. >By the way, you should totally have your kid's dick and/or tits chopped off and put on horomones, or you're a bigot. >My MtF son demands to be put on your daughters basketball team and shower with the other "girls". >I'll get to retire comfortably on social security that your kids are paying into, but it won't be there for them because we spent all their retirement money on coof lockdowns (which wouldn't have killed them, only old shits like me) and Ukraine military aid. >We should totally import hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of illegal immigrants so that they can clean my toilets and pick my tomatoes - even if it costs the youth of the nation their living wage and entry level jobs. Why should I expect some commie leftie to have media literacy, when they don't even have a tentative grasp on reality literacy. Besides, I'm pretty sure the creative director behind Persona 5 was fascinated with the rise of populism and the Donald Trump phenomena of rising up against a broken system that threw them overboard decades ago.... which is the entire point of Persona 5. Breaking free of the media bubble and corrupt government that's trying to keep you down - all the while pretending you're empowered, and trampling anybody who has a contrary or original ideal to fight for. Especially anything that celebrates individualism and personal liberty over collectivist interests, since the collectivist hive mind was marching all of humanity to it's demise. You know, kind of like how the establishment is now trying to march everyone into WWIII and destroy the future of our youths in the name of... well fuck, pick your reason. Global Warming, Overpopulation, Anti-Colonial sentiment, Systemic Racism, etc, etc. Like, there's a fucking reason why the young generations in pretty much every nation that the western hegemony touches is starting to revolt against the established order and turning more right-wing for the first time in almost a century.
>>370822 Fujimoto is an artistic genius.
>>370833 Translation is one of the few creative fields I'd trust to ai.
>>370832 >and lack of oversight But it was always a given that any AI translation would need fluent bilingual oversight?
>>370836 This is such a fucking hysterical take, because localizers are such demonic censorious shitheels that I would trust literal ai software to do the job better than fucking bluehaired dipshits with an axe to grindr against consumers.
>>370836 It's hard to call translation a "creative" field unless your conception of language is the jewish communist one. That is, "everything is relative and words can never be defined except with respect to their relation to all other words," which is utter bullshit. Translation is an extremely straightforward matter of taking a definition (the root of that word is important here) and retaining it across languages by swapping the letters/symbols. A direct translation can be done masterfully with a properly taught algorithm. "Creativity" comes in with transliteration, such as if a joke, idiom, or metaphor is culturally-dependent and would be unfunny/confusing/meaningless without either translation notes or rewriting in context.
>>370836 I bet you use cloud storage.
>>370839 >It's hard to call translation a "creative" field Because languages aren't 1:1 in many cases finding the best way to convey meaning DOES take creativity. But the thing is if you have use cases in ai for specific phrases and such you can basically automate it. At the very least you can have ai do 99.9% of the work and fix any wonky errors left behind. In addition, unlike something like art or music I'm betting a translation ai would be considerably less resource intensive, so having an open source one would be much more realistic. This would take away the one thing people fear: that the ai would be in the hands of people who would teach it wrong.
>>370816 The same people who will write paragraphs analyzing "themes" and "messages" will also waffle and cower behind "It's all up to interpretation anyways!" whenever their fanfiction gets disproven. Take that attitude and apply it to real world, verifiable information, and you get the modern left that thinks a kid protecting local businesses a few miles from home was actually a guy who drove halfway across the country to get some nigger killing action.
>>370839 >"Creativity" comes in with transliteration, such as if a joke, idiom, or metaphor is culturally-dependent and would be unfunny/confusing/meaningless without either translation notes or rewriting in context. Except that same exact occurance can happen within the same language, in the same country, even in the same city. It's like how my dad was doing electrical for one building and asked someone to pass him the "dikes", only for literally out of fucking nowhere some lady to come storming on the job site and begin screaming at the entire crew for insulting her.

>>370866 >but don't most hentai go to the (unrealistic) idea of using the womb to get extra room for a huge dick? Womb penetration is pretty rare. >>370839 >>370843 >>370845 >>370847 >>370859 >>370861 You're missing the point I was trying to make, but I believe I didn't articulate it very well. There is ALWAYS going to be problems with "transliteration". Even in the same language, you cannot take one set of material (Say a British TV series) and expect people in a completely different region (Like the U.S., Australia, or Singapore) to understand the cultural/historical/grammatical references that exist within that work despite all speaking the same language. Similar thing with watching a 1924 film in 2024. Once you establish that fact, the reality of the situation is that "transliteration" is just another excuse for why localizers gets to turn series into fanfiction. Therefore the only "correct" course of action is to reject such excuses outright. If there's something in the work that you legimately believe is important for the reader to "understand" in regards to the series, there two course of actions you should take. The first is that you can have a section in the translated release (Like an apendix/glossory) that "explains" all the regional backstory behind certain concepts in the work in order for the reader to better understand the context of the work. If you don't know what I'm talking about, here's some of such pages that our friends over on /animu/ develop in their scanlations of Kouya ni Kemono Doukokusu and The World of Moral Reversal. And I have seen official manga translations do this, like in the Del Rey translation of Hell Girl. The second course of action is that you just don't do anything. You just roll with the fact that it's a Japanese work originally written for a Japanese public, and leave "outsiders" to fend for themselves regarding the content. Some people will accept the work as-is and not care if they don't understand it, or they'll actually begin taking an interest and begin research the context of the material for themselves. But I guess I'm also giving people credit rather than treating them as "White Colonizing Opressors" like the baizuo in the translation scene do.

Yoru suddenly remembers them kissing before (Nayuta had erased that memory), gets horny and jerks him off instead and then lets Asa have control back just as Denji cums in her hand.

People have always had the willingness to invest into switching careers throughout all of human history, particularly in the last century. If you can't swap between translator into one of the dozens of trade jobs then you are not a person worthy of making money, you are a rat fuck leeching off of society. No one is going to slow down for the special kids. Fucking pick up the pace faggot.
>always and forever Luciano NEET spotted.
>>370983 >if you don't let woke progressives control every industry with AI then you're a leeching rat fuck said the leeching rat fuck of society living off NEET bux and obama care who stands to lose nothing while thousands stand to lose their livelihoods as the job market shrivels up under the iron fist of progressivist retards in charge of the largest tech companies in the world

>>370982 Thank you, God bless you with finding God.
>>370985 >if you don't let woke progressives control every industry with AI then you're a leeching rat fuck Strawman. If you oppose technological advancement you're a leeching rat fuck. Use the technology yourself or get ejected out of a competitive jobs market. Facebook has completely open sourced their AI, you can run it locally right now today. You could not possibly be in a more favorable position to use AI to compete with these companies. If and when the lobby the government successfully to criminalize use of AI you might have an argument against it. But as of right now in this moment it's the complete wild west, which is an objectively good thing for the free market. Your argument was not against big tech, it was against the mere existence of AI at all. You're moving the goal posts because you realized how fucking stupid being opposed to superior technology is.
>>370989 AI is literally BUILT on leeching off others you disgruntled retard, every one of the models operates on the basis of leeching off data that others gave no consent in being used to train these models. It doesn't matter if it's art, or text, local or not, your AI model is only as good as the content you leech off others to feed into it. And my argument was against the transfer of power from progressives controlling various industries, like translations, to progressives controlling a single industry, the AI industry, which will control every other industry. You're obviously in favor of that because your commie dream of seizing the means of production will have been realized.
>>370906 >Reminder that Gimp 3 is just around the corner. They've been saying that for 4 years now. The first 2.99.X release was in 2020. So i'll believe it when it actually gets released
AI won't make company revenues go up, just like collecting big data hasn't, just like the blockchain hasn't.
>>370992 Your middle one is quite obviously wrong.
>>370993 Selling data from one company to another is profitable, but it doesn't make kelloggs distribute cereal any better.
>>370990 >AI is literally BUILT on leeching off others you disgruntled retard, every one of the models operates on the basis of leeching off data that others gave no consent in being used to train these models. Training off of others peoples work is the foundation of every set of skills. Plus this notion is simply incorrect for the majority of corporate applications of AI. Voice actor AI in particular is not just being loosely trained on anyone random and thrown into audio books because it is overtly ripping off someone's likeness which has established IP law. You can simply train the AI on a consenting party. If you want to take issue with the datasets then so be it, I think it's pearl clutching but the rebuttal is simply that problematic datasets can be avoided. And in the case of AI translation one would probably want a specialized dataset anyways. As AI becomes more prevalent training it on public generic data will only poison it and make it become useless anyways. This is a surface level criticism that only shows how ignorant you are about AI. >And my argument was against the transfer of power from progressives controlling various industries, like translations, to progressives controlling a single industry, the AI industry, which will control every other industry. You literally just made arguments stating that AI is stealing labor and IP from people. So are you mad about AI stealing labor from people or are you mad that progressive mega corporations are in control of it? We can ignore the fact there are a plethora of completely FOSS models and that these corporations are actively trying to lobby against these FOSS models because they are an inherent thread to their business.
>>370995 >are you mad about AI stealing labor from people or are you mad that progressive mega corporations are in control of it The two are not mutually exclusive. I also have the issue that the power consumption and cooling requirements of the data centers running this AI is beyond inexcusable, microsoft is one that is utilizing a monstrous quantity of water for cooling their servers, so much water that they're impacting farms. As for the energy requirements to run it, I expect there to be many more rolling blackouts as america continues to push for "green energy" and shut down nuclear reactors. Solar, wind and hydroelectric simply cannot satisfy the growing energy demands, and datacenters running thousands of 4090's isn't helping that. Overall the generative AI is a detriment to the job market, the environment, and anyone who isn't in the tech sector selling it as the best thing since sliced silicon. It's a overhyped bullshit generator that can't even enrich the use of search engines as evidenced by google's model telling users to jump off a bridge and add glue to their pizza. Wake me up when we have a self-correcting AI as envisioned by Isaac Asimov, that determines fact through mathematical proofs.
>>370996 >The two are not mutually exclusive. I'm well aware they aren't. You're the one trying to obfuscate what your actual problem is by injecting random drivel about "progressives" so you can virtue signal. >I also have the issue that the power consumption and cooling requirements of the data centers running this AI is beyond inexcusable None of this is unique to AI or applies to it in totality. I'm running LLAMA and stable diffusion as I need them on my own hardware. Who are you to dictate what software I'm allowed to run on my machine? Who are you dictate how I can use resources I paid for? For someone opposed to progressive commies you're sure starting to sound like one. If I pay for a resource I get to use it however the fuck I want. All of your arguments against AI in this post boil down to you taking issue with a free market. Either AI is shit, or it's good. If it's using resources without producing quality then the company will inevitability lose money and go under. Kill yourself commie faggot.
>>370997 I haven't argued at all against what you do with your personal property you disingenuous nigger faggot, not in any of my posts. I've made my point clear and yet you act as if I haven't immediately after you acknowledged it, I'm not going to keep repeating it. You keep deflecting to call me a commie while you support the use of the technology to seize the means of production, and for you to even use free market as an excuse after acknowledging corporations lobbying government to further control over the technology shows just how disingenuous your argument is.
>>370998 I'm pointing out that you're using issues that have nothing to do with AI as a means of criticizing AI. Corporations lobbying to regulate shit happens with everything all the time. If corporations lobbied to have AI regulated that would be bad, and not a free market. These have nothing to do with the core technology. Technology eliminating entire jobs sectors is a good thing. It means the economy is becoming more efficient. Your original argument was that this was a bad thing, but you've utterly failed to substantiate said argument, which resulted in you shifting the goal posts to things that were completely irrelevant to the core utility of the technology, such as corporations lobbying it so only they can control it.

And then everybody freaks out because of its mediocre performance at the box office. The major difference is the game industry can theoretically survive mediocrity through microtransactions, DLC and live service rigging if the normal cattle are willing to swallow being fed their games piece meal. Hollywood used to have a similar strategy but they've somehow completely forgotten about it during the streaming era. Rumor has it though that they're going to try resurrecting the way Cable packages used to work and slowly boil the frog over time to get consumers to pay $100 plus subscriptions for their s* streaming channels.

>game rental is illegal in japan It's de facto illegal but not outright illegal. The publishers have the "right to lending", as in they can decide if you commercially lend their games. What happens most of the time is most publishers refuse to 'lend' their games and when they are willing they to 'lend/rent' game the publishers demand that the rental companies send them royalties, like at 40% for example.

>>371122 Not straight up illegal, but defacto illegal. In the early 1980s renting media as a whole was getting big in japan the record and video game industry lobbied for restrictions on renting media accusing of rental stores are using bootleg copies. They succeeded in 1984 with the ''right of lending" amendment'. "The author shall have the exclusive right to offer his work to the public" In short it gives publishers the right to decide that their flims music, games etc can be allowed to be rented or not. Most publishers (exceot vidga) do usually demanding a cut of the profits and other restrictions as well. A side effect of this extremely jewish practice is that it's one of few places in the world where renting physical movies and music isn't dead. But not video games, since most vidga publishers just straight up refuse their games to be rented in the first place. That said there have been attempts to make a rent vidga business, there was a time where you could rent dreamcast games, but only lasted a year since sega shat the bed. RentANet was another one, think red box but only vidga, but that only lasted a year as well.

>>371128 It's entirely up the publisher's discretion. So you have to give them a damn good deal to let you use their shit. If you're giving them a 30% or 40% of the profits they're probably going to be okay with it. Meaning that mods that be argued as violating copyright. However that interpretation has only previously worked in regards to multiplayer games, like the recent lawsuit over Aimjunkies and their cheats in Destiny 2, because companies make their money from keeping those online experiences "pure". >>976471 Image boards take more thought and time to post on then most other platforms, people have less and less patience these days. I think it's also gotten harder in general just to be a regular anon. Real life stuff keeps me away from this place most of the time, even though I'd rather be here than and on any other "social media" platform. There's so many alternatives for small micro communities that places like this are being forgotten. It also doesn't help that every so often a big schism or event comes along that further fractures the community into smaller pieces. There's also probably too many boards with barely any activity, quite a few of them could be merged and for anything else that doesn't have its own board should just go to /b/ and have cyclical threads. But then again in some ways the boards act as archives for content. (So I really wouldn't want that Disturbed) maybe we need a better way to display active boards versus less active boards? Also, I thought the Spanish language boards were supposed to be fairly active, have they started running off for some reason?

On a side note I have been hearing about "dead internet" theory every so often. And I also remember that map of the internet that showed how most of the internet now is just corporate owned streaming sites and social media. I tried going to the anime web turnpike I guess it's been dead for a while, no links that I could find worked. So I'm guessing little fan pages don't really exist anymore... (Sometimes I find old Japanese websites that still have content but few have been updated since the early 2000s) Every time I find an abandoned place online (website, message board, blog) I always wonder what happened to those people. Did they die? Did they just stop caring about what they were posting about? It seems like the old internet it's just this kind of abandoned place that's slowly rotting away. (Even important places like government websites seem to have tons of broken links that never get repaired) I'm also just guessing all this is the same for most other countries.
>>371161 For the most part, honestly even torrent despite fags here telling you otherwise, that's kinda a byproduct of the time, and because people thought internet was just a fade and didn't invest or care enough to maintain those sites, but in some places, they kept it like that because iré was cheaper, or where 5ish World countries who couldn't into codemonkey. I miss the old internet, that's for sure, but at the same time, the spark and Magic of that era, was the fact that it had to fade away because of the novelty and such. Yeah, you can maintain an old site from that era, but flash is dead Right now, people forgot their usernames and passwords for the sites, and at the same time, convenience of having everything in one simple place, simple for even pajeets and mexicans, ultimately ended the forums and blogs... For the better or worse (mostly the 2nd), it was kinda destined to happen after all... But at the same time, history is cyclical, just like human condition and such, and even if nowadays we are living in a gayer and shittier 70s or 80s, the next years kinda seem to be at change after all, maybe like a lite 90s with some edge sparking more frecuently, and with New technologies at the corner >tl;dr Old internet is dying and WILL die after all, but at the same time is a good thing because is a piece of time which wasn't corrupted by today shit, and, even if it doesn't seem like it, is missed and probably will revive someday
>>371161 Something that's worth considering is the Internet was still a hobby-centric place during that time, and the majority of people posting about their hobbies online happened to be younger, tech-savvy people with the spare time to write and post about stuff. Over time, the average age of internet users increased and the average skill decreased, meaning fewer custom websites and webrings remained while larger, more conglomerated and convenient sites absorbed popularity and traffic. People also have way less free time now than they did 20 some years ago because of inflation and recessions, and even if they did there are far more hoops to jump through and restrictions placed on what is allowed to be hosted which further disincentivizes people from hosting or making websites like those. And that's all without getting into reduced attention span and a general trend toward shorter form content and immediate gratification. tl;dr a lot of those people grew up and don't have the time anymore, and even if they did the current internet isn't built to support or help sustain those types of communities (see how hard it's been just to keep 8moe at a stable population).
>>371162 I don't miss some of the old ways (DSL, rampant CP in otherwise normal torrents, less multiplayer options) but I do miss the community, the friendliness, the innocence. Honestly I think we could have a piece of that back if we put up a firewall against all third-world IPs

>>371161 >>371162 The other thing is people want to make a living creating things, especially with cost of living rising for average joes, so they go to where they have the most exposure, twitter and youtube, to sustain their behavior, instead of being a character on a small site (unless they're narcissists and need a pond to take over). Also if you don't have the extra $200/mo anymore to pour into something like model trains to post about then you might just divert yourself with games instead and leave for it being offtopic. A lot of trains also have a limited production run or require a preorder a year in advance, and ~$300 is not that expensive for the quality, matching non-entry ones from decades ago in price.

The easiest way devs could prevent this was to check the memory space of the cart. If it was too big, which they typically were so you could store multiple games on on cart. you activate your anti piracy shit. A simple lock out screen or out right fuck with the player in the case with earthbound. But it was also easy just for some hacker to just dump the rom, crack the code, then upload it to the internet as well. That's why there were two versions of earthbound ROMs for a time. Even before dedicated pirating back up tools arcade bootleggers would just rip off eproms from the circuit board with a eprom burner. Most of the tools to do this was 'off the shelf' for hardware companies, so no surprise it was rampant. The hardest part about this was just being aware you could do this and where to get them in the first place.
If I also remember the anti Japan anon is also the anti lolbert and men can't have unrealistic expectations faggot. Having no fucking clue of of the shit he's talking about and making himself look like a fucking idiot.

Here we go again. >‘Godzilla Minus One’ Brings Back Old Gripes As Dubbing On Netflix Changes Dialogue https://archive.ph/CMTmy This article has spoilers, so I'll try to apply spoilers here too as I'm sure there are people here who haven't seen it yet. >The mighty OG Kaiju is burning up the streamer’s charts with his heat ray, but unfortunately not without complaints. There are a few, though the dominant one is that lines in the Japanese theatrical version were changed. >Case in point, a line at the end uttered by the main female protagonist Noriko Oishi (played by Minami Hamabe) is altered to make her come across as less compassionate to her love and his struggles. >Originally, when our tortured hero and combat vet Shikishima finds her in the hospital, Noriko asks him, “Is your war finally over?” to close the film. It’s fitting and poignant but in the Netflix dub, they had other ideas. >The new line is “Can this war of yours be over soon? Finally, be done?” As one user pointed out on X, “Not only did they change one of the most impactful lines, but they changed it to make it sound like she was annoyed his ‘war’ was still going on.” >“This is so much weaker than if the line was just kept as “is your war finally over?” the way the English dub changed it just makes it feel so removed from Shikishima and the troubles he faced, and makes it seem like his trauma was just an ‘issue’ that needed to end,” another said. >Someone else summed up fan disapproval nicely by saying, “I’ll never forgive the English dubbers for changing the most impactful line in Godzilla Minus One.” That account also shared an observation from a voice of reason, Simon Pegg, who encouraged viewers to watch the film’s proper Japanese dub to experience the unencumbered depth of the actors’ performances. >“If you are going to watch Godzilla Minus One, by the way, just as an addendum to what I was saying yesterday, watch it in Japanese. Don’t watch it auto-dubbed. Never watch anything dubbed. Never. Always have subtitles because you want to hear the original performances and the original language,” Pegg said in an Instagram video.

Additionally there is the observation that the more power is concentrated into smaller and smaller groups of people, the culmination being a single totalitarian ruler, the less important that the politics and ideologies become. Thus understood, fascism is totalitarian, and the fascist state–a synthesis and a unit of all values–interprets, develops and potentiates the whole life of a people. It is not the nation that generates the state, rather it is the state which creates the nation, conferring volition and therefore real life on a people. In the fascist conception, the state is an absolute before which individuals and groups are relative.” ~ Benito Mussolini, The Doctrine of Fascism >“The state is only a means to an end. It's why every argument has to end in some form of "no YOU"RE the tranny/communist!" or some retarded shit.
>>371347 >a word that explicitly contains the implication of a singular genetic group living in a single location So Hitler's definition of "Nazism" is: <a community of human beings who are physically as well as spiritually a singular genetic group living in a single location >doesn't tell me anything about how the country is populated It really doesn't because that ENTIRE definition, the one you see up above listed in pink and based on your own words, applies to the Kikes. As they're "a community of Jews who are physically as well as spiritually a singular Jewish group living in Israel". In additon, you haven't thrown off the comparison to Fascism. All you've done is reenforce it, with the only difference being that Fascism focusses upon the "state" while Nazism focusses upon "the race and the spirit". But they are both still "all-embracing" and totalizing ideologies at the end of the day. Which also opens the implication that Hitler and Mussolini would have eventually gone to war had Italy and Germany won.

>>977613 >You know very well a good way to drum up malcontent against a viewpoint is to express that viewpoint as terribly and obnoxiously as possible. I do know this. By… telling the truth and providing direct citations to the claims being made? Good luck with that. <Quotes are made up "It's propaganda because I said so… no, don't research the actual history of the implemented laws and practices of both regions being discussed!" is just about as "valid" a rebuttal as made up quotes, don't you think? Of course you do. I suppose you'll claim the sewer jews were just 'made up propaganda' too, and not indicative of jewish law/holy writ, right?

Because Hitler's entire campaign was that everything was the fault of the Jews. So that creates the problem that if you see a tactic as something vile and evil, why are you then proceeding to do exactly the same thing? Doesn't YOUR performance of those exact same actions then make you just as "evil" as the people you're ridiculing?

>>371366 >If you want to shill Active shilling is pointless. Only subhuman retards listen to shills, and everyone else is actively turned off from anything being shilled. The only way to get new people is to already be somewhere else regularly, some other imageboard or forum, and when someone asks for something they want that this site has, you link them to it. It cannot be unsolicited. This is why 8moe absorbed the Mexibros. They needed something this site was able to give them, not because someone went to hispachan to spread the good word of 8moe while hispachan was still alive and healthy.
>>371367 Active shilling works fine. Acid and Mark are just chronically lazy and have refused to do it. If you depend on incidentally namedropping the site on increasingly esoteric and smaller imageboards as your only means of organic traffic then this site is just going to continue the circle the drain. The site needs social media presence. It needs to post on mastodon instances when events like game nights, game of the month, live streams are going on. It needs hunger games where the prize is a "toot" or whatever the fuck they call it for your board if you win, rather than a worthless patch of text that will just get replaced by some spic shit at the top of the page. It needs a LBRY account where video compilations that anons make get posted. The site needs a genuine presence in other spaces that attract a relatively similar audience (privacy, freedom oriented, anime). Virtually every single FOSS social media platform facilitates this well enough. But Mark will spend his time buying the latest tech gadgets while putting himself into crippling debt and doing 5 hour long podcasts that get 7 views instead of doing literally anything that benefits anons.
>>371368 It costs money to post on LBRY unless you get your real identity tagged to your account for a few shekels-worth of coins.
>>371369 That's been true at times but there's also been times where you could get around it somehow. I haven't kept up with the platform to know if it's still the case.
>>977642 >Germany saw what the kikes were doing and wanted in, but they also wanted it faster. What Germany did is not uncommon. While Belgium was it's own country by the time The Great War started, England used the German occupation of it as their excuse to enter WWI. <Video details Operation Keelhaul, a rather infamous incident regarding the USSR demanding the "return" of their WWII "POWs", despite those same POWs fighting tooth and nail to remain in their countries (Even committing suicide as a last resort). Muslims use their collective groups as a way to influence and eventually overthrow a country as their population increases. And West Taiwan considers anyone that's "Ethically Chinese" (Including people that renounce their heritage/citizenship) as property belonging to the CCP, so anything they do in the name of "securing" their "citizens" is deemed as justifyable. It's attitudes like that are the reason why people feared Hispanic/Black revolts across America during WWI (Look up Laurence C. Jones), locked up Japanese-Americans after the Niihau incident during WWII, and why Communist efforts in America are always directed towards causing racial divisions between "Whites" and everyone else.

If you don't control a thing, you do not own it. It is your control of a thing that GRANTS you ownership. If you have no meaningful decision making power, it's not yours. As if installing a government functionary at the top and exercising control is meaningfully different from embedding a political officer and exercising control from outside the corporate structure. >>371406 tl;dr the general assembly is the institution that reviews, debates, and eventually votes the laws proposed by the government. After the presidential elections, the general elections give the citizens the opportunity to vote for the Deputies who will compose the Assembly. If the Presidential party doesn't get absolute majority like Macron did back in 2022, he'll have to deal with an assembly who will not always approve its decisions. To me, choosing to dissolve the assembly when his main opponent just wiped the floor with everyone is suicide, they might lose the incoming general elections, and they might even lose the "relative" majority they had now.
>>371409 >To me, choosing to dissolve the assembly when his main opponent just wiped the floor with everyone is suicide It's an everything or nothing move, he's thinking that due to low participation and the "clock the far right" effect he's gonna get a big influx of voters that don't want the RN (aka the "far right" party, which really are neolibs in disguise but that's another problem) while the RN voters rest on their and don't necessarily go to that vote Also a bunch of other factors like thinking people tend to vote for more extreme choices when the lections are perceived as less important (and there's literally no election that's more useless because the euro deputy have ZERO decisional power, they're just advising the EU commissioner who can chose to not ever give a fuck, as they often do),

Constant pressure and incursions will erode all defenses over time - like water eroding a rock face - if the financial incentive to do so is great enough to fund the seige. Wokies are already going away, and normalfags will never hold any principled positions. Neither are a steady bulwark against AI.
>>371389 >You do know that several public institutions were privatized under the NSDAP, right? Privatized under a party member, who only controlled the institution on the good graces of the party. Under both international socialism (communism) and national socialism, the party established itself as a shadow government so that the party could never lose power.
>>371450 Anon commie unions aren't going away because commies aren't going away and the unions are fighting this the hardest.
>>371452 I've been saying that here in Flipland on how unions are just covers for the reds, people gave me really strange looks.
>>371452 >commie unions aren't going away Tell that to the ever dwindling membership of the UAW. They fought hard against the advancement of automation on the factory line, and that shit was still adopted full scale in under a decade across almost the entire industry. Commies are useful idiots, and the people at the upper echelons are not commies - they are manipulators. They'll sell their "comrades" out for a little bit of power and wealth, every time. One of the many reasons why Communism just doesn't work as an economic system - it's only real utility is as a form of social manipulation and population control. The commies will slice out their little piece of the pie to be distributed to their cronies and associates - while they cut deal with management to screw over everyone else and make it seem like they're being done a favor.
>>371438 >Dragon Age: the WokeGuard. wasn't Dragon Age always woke? this new one does look painfully currant year though. everything about it just looks ugly and boring. (I guess older fans a saying it looks like fortnight?)
>>371454 Blue collar factory unions are a meme. Media unions run by kikes all have billionaire backing and always get what they want.

>>371455 >wasn't Dragon Age always woke No.
>>371455 Well, they explicitly said that their philosophy making this game was "We're going to make Inquisition look like the fucking Turner Diaries", I can understand this might be too much even for Biodrones.
>>371458 Man picking the time when normalfags are starting to turn against marvel dialogue, moba aesthetics and woke to release this certainly was an interesting choice.
>>371456 Media now is, yes. Back in the day the Auto Unions and Teamsters ran America, and Hollywood was a pittance compared to industrial work. That started to change in the 70's and 80's when Hollywood became ascendant as a global cultural powerhouse - and the oil crisis and competition from Japanese auto makers were absolutely killing American domestic models. The whole goddamned time they were being lied to by their leadership and the politicians and company bosses they were in bed with. I went down to DC and watched... Christ, who was it... Gettlefinger or Yokich shake hands with Bill Clinton while singing the praises of NAFTA. About how it was going to be a massive competitive boost to Union jobs that would bring higher wages and more benefits. And all they fucking got for their trust and dues was their jobs being shipped down to Mexico, while Mexicans being shipped up here to take the few unskilled labor jobs that were still around.
>>371454 >They'll sell their "comrades" out for a little bit of power and wealth, every time thats what the leftys, and femnists always forget >>371456 >Blue collar factory unions are a meme. they might have been more a real thing back in the 50's/60's >>371457 lol, (damn the graphics in the older games look way better, not amazing but better) >>371458 >>371459 I remember hearing the last one (3?) not doing big numbers. that's why its taken 10 years for them to have another crack at it.
>>371457 You can maybe make an excuse that Qunari can have these beliefs but it's not something that's approved of in their society. Iron Bull is kinda a renegade. https://web.archive.org/web/20160406191825/http://forum.bioware.com/topic/129021-questions-about-the-qunari/?bioware=1
>>371461 I heard Inquisition sold decently (and even had a shot in the arm winning game of the year in 2014, which was about as rigged as Harvey Weinstein rigged the Oscars for years) it's just between it underperforming, Mass Effect Andromeda and Anthem being flops EA kept them on a short leash. Now enough time has past (it's already been seven years since Andromeda) that they're letting them shoot their shot again with DA4 and the new Mass Effect they just announced.
>>371461 >lol, (damn the graphics in the older games look way better, not amazing but better) In fairness Sten's appearance in that video is a mod. In the original origins they didn't manage to make qunari look like they wanted to in concept yet (with the horns or in Sten's case lack of horns) so he just looked like a tall guy with dreadlocks. So that's why that looks better.
>>371463 Problem is like hundreds of people were laid off between then & now. The original teams that made at least Inquisition's mostly good character writing are probably all long gone.
>>371462 I don't think there's any way for it to make sense with the lore. If they wanted to say Iron Bull was against his people there fine, but that's not what he's saying. He's saying qunari, a people who so rigidly believe your role in life is determined by birth and if you try to go against it they send you to a reeducation camp, would somehow accept trannies are a thing. Sten's comments completely disprove that as, if the qunari really did have a thing for trannies, that would have been the first thing he'd reach for to make sense of how a female gray warden could even exist.
>>371428 >>371445 That definitely makes me feel a lot more sorry about the cop and how he ended up. He still made a grave mistake by not prioritizing Mr. Stabby over Mr. Punchy. That's one of the biggest thinks they tell you about knife defense. If you're within a certain distance of a knife wielding assailant then you're basically looking at a mutual kill, I can never remember if it's 10 ft or 10 meters.
>>371466 The thing is, he's not even consistent. He shares the qunari's disdain for mages even if he's fairly open about the other stuff. The best theory I've heard is that, since he's part of the Qunari secret service, he's basically engaging in ox muslim Taqiyya
>>371462 >In fairness Sten's appearance in that video is a mod AH, I was trying to find pics from the OG xbox360 ver. I still think even unmoded it looks better.
>>371469 That's still the mod in that last image. He looks like this in vanilla.

>>371412 Officially, Nitter's development has been dead for months. That poast.org instance runs a fork of Nitter that supports accounts, and it uses hundreds of accounts to access Twitter and a caching system similar to 8moe's to display content without having to request it again and again. The instance is failing because too many people are using it, making its accounts and IPs be rate limited and temporarily blocked. To make things worse, there are bots owned by 76IQ streetshitters who are too stupid and inbreed to make their own instances and dummy accounts scrapping that Nitter instance and wasting its resources and pool of non-blocked accounts. >>371415 The entirely of Xbox's event was a mirror of modern America.
