So we have over 16,000 concurrent users right now, and nearly 7000 actual posters over the past day (just under triple the reported UID count). We've tripled the site's frontend network capacity according to our ancient plans, and its handling it like a boss. I know this isn't the right place for this, but considering we don't have a substantial /g/ or /tech/ at the moment i'm going to ask here. My power went out and when i restarted my computer i noticed my taskbar was glitched in the lower right. I can't open the mixer, clicking on the speaker does nothing. The network icon disappeared and it after i let it run for like an hour the status icon went from green to potentially unprotected. Is there any way for me to fix this without restarting my whole PC? It's old and takes a while to get fully up and running. I looked it up and it said restarting the explorer can fix any taskbar glitches, but when i go into task manager and processes i don't have any option to just restart, only end the process.
