Ammo shortage /k/ommando 06/28/2021 (Mon) 20:11:18 No. 35
The great ammo shortage is finally starting to let up. I paid almost 50 bucks for a box of five hundred Remington thunderbolt .22lr And that sucks, but at least its for sale. So lets a have a thread and mention the worst ripoff we paid over the ammo shortage. I bought a box of fifty 9x19luger and paid a twenty. It sucked ass anon. The worst part? It was tula steel case. That really sucked. And was embarassing. Your turn anons.
>>35 Thunderbolts suck ass. Typical shit quality remshit. God is anything made by remington not complete trash? Like one in three ftf. Fucking duds.
>>35 LOL OP is fucking retarded.

>>50 So you've never paid shitty price for ammo? Bullshit.
Russian ammo is banned from import. Remember to minecraft government officials and their families and to not convict anyone who does if you get jury duty.
>>442 Fuck yeah just looked into it. No more tulammo?

>>442 I'm sure in due time someone else like the Ukrainians Spanish Brazilians Serbs or whatever other country with manufacturing capabilities will start pumping out 5.45 and 7.62 for the Americunt market since it's quite profitable. In fact doesn't a company in Taiwan already do that for steel cased Wolf boolets? If not then I'd honestly be surprised honestly. >>35 Well even in the height of the Kung Flu as well as all the other crazy shit that went down I was still able to find shelves lined up with 12 gauge so it's always wise to own at least one scatter blaster.
>>656 Absolutely true, no matter how bare the shelves were, there was always 12 gauge, and usually 20 as well. Speaking of scatter gats, anons the Maverick 88 is cheaper than dogshit and works everytime. Just buy one already.
>not investing in a Claymore during the ammo shortage Pros >no moving parts >can be used to flex on the limp wrists >faster than reloading >power to awaken the inner warrior spirit of all Scotsmen to join your cause in defending your property >it yearns to bath in the blood of your enemies >quite the heirloom Cons >hard to conceal on a train You anons aren't thinking long term, plus when the next solar flair hits earth all your fancy gizmo's like red dots, crypto wallets, and pretty much every polymer gun is gonna be damn near worthless when they're melted from the heat.
>>983 Plus you get to larp as the highlander.
>>986 Why is it so hard to find tungsten core AP rifle ammo in Freedomland? The online places I've found are LE only.
>>987 Because that is the only thing that may give you a chance against robocops.
>>990 There's no law against sales to private owners, right? What if I wanted to make my own, is it as simple as sticking a tungsten nail or something as centered as possible in the mold and casting the bullet around it?
>>991 You can, tungsten electrode https://www.tungsten.com/products/tungsten-electrodes/ You only need to encase it because it will destroy the rifling/tube.
>>990 But I am the law
>>992 Thanks, I see they can even sharpen them for you. Seems like it could be a fun project.
>>996 You can sharpen them using a diamond grinder wheel, and simply break it where you nicked it. Cutting takes longer. Btw Tungsten is 1.7x heavier than lead.
>>1010 That's cool
>>1011 The most effective penetrator is Silicon Carbide sold as cemented carbide/solid carbide If you can get worn out/broken endmills, turbo milling/drilling bits somewhere it is cheap.

>>1010 >>1013 Thanks anons.
>>35 >The great ammo shortage Drugs, Spark Plugs And Other Homemade Shotgun Slugs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ywNblXUOwDY Spark plugs are AP ammo.
>>1038 Hmmm fascinating anon. Thanks.

>>35 Just 3D print your own snap caps to stay sharp. Maybe even randomly load live rounds mixed with snap caps to train for jam clearing. Plus they'll be homemade as apposed to imported Chineisum making you a little more self reliant and helps avoid the Sino-Empire from absorbing more green fiat to bribe politicians with. https://odysee.com/@voltlog:b/emmc-wfbga153-flash-memory-to-microsd:f >>45 >God is anything made by remington not complete trash? Nope, that's just the fate of everyone who sells out to Freedom Group. They should just stick to making ammo honestly Ruger, Tikka, and a dozen other companies have been making superior bolt actions for decades now and at cheaper prices or with far more bells and whistle for your buck than what Rustington can offer.
