/Fit/ness 'games' thread - Do you even /fit/ games bro? Anonymous 09/30/2024 (Mon) 17:05:00 Id: 284a82 No. 1020864
Didn't have this kind of thread for a long while so its time to make another one. Talk about which fitness games to play, what kind of diet works and what doesn't. Do you use any games as warmup for gym? Post game progress, advice, exercises and how to sail through your 20s, 30s being vfit. Your body will thank you in the coming years
>>1024260 I made some thai coconut chicken on green beans, carrots, and cauliflower in a baking pan and it lasted me 4 days in the fridge just fine. Just depends on how good you kill bacteria during cooking and don't contaminate the cooked food.
>>1024259 >bad food tastes good Yeah >>1024260 >Okay, so we're obviously not talking about fresh vegetables here, since once you cut vegetables they don't last four days It's called refrigeration.
>>1024272 I'm sorry do you think that you can't eat a fucking carrot 4 days after it's been cut and refrigerated? Are you legitimately fucking retarded?
>>1024272 I dice onions and grab a few spoonfuls straight out of tupperware for a week or two. Even lettuce can stay fresh for a week or two if you put a paper towel in the tupperware after washing them and change it daily.
>>1024260 >LOL, yep. You may want to ask your doctor if you need a statin. Why? Jacket potatoes are nothing but potatoes baked in the oven. After they are baked, you can top them with herbs, spices, and use as a side for a meal. Potatoes are only a problem if they are fried or if they make majority of your diet. Anything deep fried or eaten in excess is a problem. Beans are healthy too. All they need is some salt, onion, garlic, herbs, spices, and maybe a root vegetable to elevate the flavor further. Then you just put them in a pressure cooker, turn the heat, and don't do much until beans are cooked. You can eat them as is, use them as a side, cook further to turn them into a bean soup, or use in a salad. >>1024272 >>1024260 >Okay, so we're obviously not talking about fresh vegetables here, since once you cut vegetables they don't last four days. What? That entirely depends on the vegetable. There are many that can be prepped ahead. Chopped tomatoes, onions, garlic, peppers, and cilantro or parsley turned into a salsa are actually better the next day or several later. Same goes for a cucumber and tomato salad. Carrots, celery, radishes, turnips, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, chard, cabbage, romaine lettuce, and Brussels sprouts will all last couple days in the fridge chopped up. With some, like spinach and water cress, you do not even need to chop the vegetable as leaves aren't big to begin with.
>>1024291 Just lasts longer and don't have to wash individual leaves or risk wilting.
>>1024298 >potatoes with skin on and cooked in a method that does not involve frying are unhealthy in spite of all the minerals and some fiber they contain aren't healthy. And if eaten cold, their starches turn into healthy resistant starch. >Beans, that are mainly protein and fiber aren't healthy. Not even if accompanied by extra nutrients from herbs, spices, and root vegetables. So, what is healthy then?

>>1024271 I'm not going to die broke no matter how hard I work. The Americans living paycheck to paycheck you linked won't die broke. You might die broke, if you chose to post and cope instead of work.
>>1024257 >fat people are picky eaters lol true

Has anyone here talked to a girl at gym?
>>1034656 its almost as good of an idea as talking to girls at work. best case scenario? nothing happens, worst? you get in trouble.
>>1034656 Once when I was delivering a water bottle fridge to a gym I said 'sorry' to a girl I bumped into. She smiled at me but didn't say anything back.
>>1034755 That comparison makes no sense. It's completely normal to interact with and become friends with co-workers, and is one of the single most organic place for relationships to start. The gym on the other hand is like the grocery store. No one wants to socialize and all you're doing is fucking with the chore they're trying to accomplish.
>>1020889 Well you can do exercices in VR Porn games right?
>>1034755 Have sex with the girl at work chuddie
>>1034758 >I said 'sorry' to a girl I bumped into. She smiled at me I'd have dreams about her for 3 months if that happened to me
>>1034762 if you count as humping the air as exercise, then sure
>>1034774 I'm not that guy but I fuck your mom.
>>1034805 I'll fuck YOUR mom
>>1034813 That's funny. My mother is too good for the like of you, unlike yers she isn't a whore.
>>1023191 realy?, none?
>>1034656 No, outside of answering or asking the questions along the lines of "do you know if anyone is using this?" or "how many sets do you still have left?" I am yet to go to a gym where people make friends or strike conversations with stranger. and I've been to many gyms over past 15 years.
>>1034850 >>1022230 Did that guy actually lose weight ONLY by controlling his diet? Sorry but I need to find ways to poke holes and discredit him so I can feel better about myself.
>>1034978 Calorie burning and intake are the only things that matter for losing weight. Some university professor proved this by going on a Twinkie diet.
>>1034992 That's why you need to go on a 0-calorie diet until you hit your dream weight.
>>1035019 That's the Venezuelan diet
>>1035019 I mean you can basically do that with some supplementation. There was a case of an obese guy that didn't eat for like a year that was monitored by doctors. And people these days will often do week long fasts. I wouldn't recommend it without training and knowledge for a variety of reasons, but prolonged fasting is relatively common.

>>1022323 I've used this recipe for almost a year, with my variation and ingredients to give it better taste. Its a cheap dinner with the most important part being you don't have to babysit it, you can leave it in the oven unattended for a large part of cooking time. that helps alot
>>1023952 Kids are dancing too much these days for them to get obese.
>>1035322 what kids are dancing rather than copying the same 3 tikitoki twerk dances?
