Not really. The chart is still a good indicator to go by regarding introducing people to vidya and series they probably haven't played, but it also leaves out a lot of good titles or so much has changed that it really "dates" the image. For example, it doesn't list FPS titles like Tron 2.0, sandbox games like Prototype, RPGs like Parasite Eve, or racing games like Pure. Then games listed from back then have since been updated to become shit (Mostly through pozzing the game) like Shovel Knight, Terraria, and Dwarf Fortress. Then we also have the remakes of these games like REm4ke, DRDR, nuSystem Shock, nuDemon Souls, nuPMTTYD, nuSH2, SGXS, nuXC, and the upcoming remakes of The Witcher, Max Payne, and Soul Reaver. Actually, summing that all up, the chart is fine just the way it is as accurately reflects the "Best" that gaming had to offer. As 2019 onwards has been nothing but one big death spiral. Yes, some good games have been coming out, but would you honestly consider them better than anything you see pictured, or games from the same era that you don't see pictured.
