Can someone please make a list of all jRPGs that match the description in pic related? Right now the only ones I know are Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Vesperia. Does anybody know other ones?
Technically Kingdom Hearts
>>1052051 >100% seamless open-world <or >features an explorable world-map So any game as long as it's not a corridor that you can't go back to? What if it's a giant, seamless open corridor? What if there is no world-map, but you explore chunks of the world that are connected one to another, like Zelda Ocarina of Time(yes, I know it's not a JRPG, I am talking about the map design). What if there is a world-map, but you have no reason to ever go back to previous locations, with a few exceptions, and you mostly move forward, like Grandia 1 and 2? >pure turn-based combat <or >pure action combat Where do you draw the line? Is Active Time Battle a big no-no? What about games with a tactical type of map, like Trails in the Sky or Lunar 1 & 2? Regardless of your answers, Wild Arms 1 & 2.
>explorable world map You mean like an overworld? If so, DQ5.
>>1052051 Does FF7 count?
Mark, don't let your autism delete this thread because "uhhh its a low effort thread, it asks a question, it needs paragraphs in OP" >>1052051 So lemme see, you want a game that is 1. Heavy plot driven/story 2. Has either seamless open-world OR large explorable map 3. Is either pure turn based or pure action Your picture sucks btw. I can suggest Ys series, and fortunately (or unfortunately) the latest Ys Nordic fulfills all your requirements. Even though Ys fans hate it. Ys Monstrum Nox is also an option, but I recommend going to the 2d era for balls to the walls action.
>>1052081 I don't think ATB is 100% turn-based.
>>1052097 Isn't there a classic option which turns off ATB?
>>1052095 >>1052095 >Mark, don't let your autism delete this thread because "uhhh its a low effort thread, it asks a question, it needs paragraphs in OP" Don't make one in the first place just because your stupid ass wanted to be defiant and couldn't take the heat from acting stupid?
>>1052059 Trails in the Sky probably wouldn't fit because S-Craft interrupts add an active battle element to the system.
>>1052097 >>1052126 Maybe it counts, maybe it doesn't. This is why Op should have clarified, instead of being a (1) and done faggot.
OP here >>1052052 >Kingdom Hearts nope, not open-world nor world-map >>1052059 >So any game as long as it's not a corridor that you can't go back to? No, for example, no FF past 9 fits the requirements >Where do you draw the line? among FF, only 1, 2, 3 'n 10 are pure turn based, and only 15 & 16 are pure action >>1052081 >Does FF7 count? Almost, but not quite since it's not "pure" TB
>>1052167 There is a "world map", but it's literally a map of worlds.
>>1052051 You want heavily plot driven games with both >100% seamless open-world >features an explorable world map and/or both >pure turn-based combat >pure action combat Am I reading the confusing diagram right?
>>1052051 >Heavily plot-driven <Final Fantasy series <Granida <Phantasy Star series >100% seamless open-world <Xenoblade series >Features an explorable world-map <Hyperdimension Neptunia series <Pokemon series <Spectrobes series <Wild Arms 2 >Pure turn-based combat <Etrian Odyssey series <Mystery Dungeon series <Riviera: The Promised Land <Wizardry series (There were Japanese exclusive Wizardry games) >Pure action combat <Phantasy Star Online series <Souls series The best I can provide.

>>1052293 >plot-driven >explorable world map >pure turn-based combat It is still good even if it has 16-bit-era Koei graphics. This franchise needs to come back.

>>1052406 >wóman on cover wok.. wooke..

>>1052167 P.S.: here, I added some examples
>>1052461 I'm not sure what about my shitposting appears cuckchan but I'm sorry to say your greenanon radar is broken.
>>1052409 The funny thing about that game is that it is a Japanese games that romanticises European cultures and gets them all wrong. There is a good bit of silly Japanese nationalism in it as well. It's like the mirror reverse of American ninja movies. It makes for some good laughs.

>>1052051 Skies of Arcadia. >Heavily plot driven >Explorable world map >Pure turn based The Gamecube version has a little bit of additional content, but it has lower sound quality due to compressing a 2-disc game to fit on a GC minidisc.
>>1052499 Is it because he is not far enough along on the spectrum for you? Are you able to see his autism levels?
>>1052510 Who got that blood type faggot pic?
>>1052480 Nice chart but can't read shit due to harsh colors. I'd also add >Octopath Traveller for plot/character driven, pure turn based, and having a world map
>>1052627 And the sequel, Octopath Traveler II.
