Romancing Saga 2:Revenge of the Seven removed the Denuvo go take torrents to play niggers.
Is this the one with muslim woman?
>game is called romancing saga >It's just some jrpg
>>1100342 Well shit, I was looking forward to playing this at some point. I swear I will get to this one.
>>1100695 I was waiting because i don't know if they pozzed something or messed up with the story,i heard good things about it but haven't seem anything in detail
Romancing SaGa 2 is great and the remake is even better. The gameplay is more strategic and the new additions (e.g. class-based skills) complement the generation system perfectly. And it's definitely not pozzed.
>>1101976 what about story? are they any good?
>>1102030 The story is neat but it's not a story-focused game. Most of the game involves isolated little quests where you help some NPCs by beating up bad guys. If you're expecting a visual novel you will be greatly disappointed. As for the overarching story >The Seven Heroes of legend have returned, and they're assholes >You are the Emperor of Avalon >Explore the world, complete quests to expand your territory and recruit new allies, and fight the Heroes >When you die or complete a few quests your successor will inherit your skills, make a new team, and carry on The remake adds some backstory for the antagonists which was taken from stage plays or something like that
>>1102030 SaGa game stories are often mostly about the world rather than your characters. That tends to be a miss for people.
>>1100342 That's cool and all, but can you plow any of the females ? not playing otherwise.
>>1102291 that does sound pretty neat, might pick up when it's on sale >>1103860 thanks for the headup
>>1100342 I keep reading the title as "Romancing Salsa"
Aren't these games known for being beginner unfriendly and obtuse? Is this a good entry point?
>>1107147 Romancing SaGa 2 is a fine entry point. One of the things that trips people up in some SaGa games is how to progress. Romancing SaGa 2 eases you into SaGa like progression while opening the world up while not overwhelming the player or not having quests you just really don't know how to tackle.
Should I play Romancing Saga 1 first??
>>1100342 think I'll get this soon
>>1110416 They're fairly different. It's much easier to feel lost in Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song compared to Romancing SaGa 2. Also the stories of the games are self contained. At best you might have a call back to an earlier game, especially when you consider something like Emerald Beyond.
>>1100342 I don't want to steer things too off-topic but what games/series are similar to SaGa that you guys know of? I like these kinds of open ended games that don't hold your hand whatsoever.
>>1110356 I think people will find romancing saga 3 remake (I bet they are making it) easier since it's more story based
>>1111610 So worse? Kawazu should make at least 1 more game with this formula
>>1100342 This game and RS1 made me realize that dungeons in SaGa always sucked and Unlimited Saga was their attempt to make them more engaging.
>>1107147 >>1111610 RS3 isn't more story based. People might find RS3 easier because the enemies are easier to defeat, but I'd say RS2 is more beginner friendly overall. RS3 drops you in the middle of the world after the prologue and you need to wander all around looking for stuff to do, whereas in RS2 the world opens up a bit more gradually and it's easier to find quests as they are tied to the territories you haven't conquered or you are informed by a minister in your castle. Also I think RS2 serves as a good introduction to some of the series' staple mechanics like skill mastery and LP, they feel more intuitive when tied to the generation system. And because of the structure of the game you're a lot less likely to get stuck. When you lose to a boss you can pick a new emperor and build a team designed to avenge yourself. Now that RS2 has a remake it's by far the best entry point. The remake brings a lot of clarity to game mechanics. >>1103909 You can fuck a fish (female)
