What a magical time that must have been. I always imagine old arcades smelled like bowling alleys, a weird mix of greasy pizza and stale cigarette smoke.
>>3958 I honestly cannot remember how they *smelled*, but it's a good bet that arcades like in the OG Chuck E. Cheese had the El Cheapo pizza aroma in them, for sure. I DO remember all these cabinet games being much bigger though. They all seem to have shrunk via the passage of time. I dungeddit.
Old arcades were also great to teach math and budgeting. Four quarters in $1. Twenty in $5. Forty in $10. You're there for three hours. Spend that allowance/ grass cutting money wisely.
