I think I might've accidentally become a psychic vampire at some point, as Robert Bruce's description matches my behavior from the past year or so. How do I fix this?
>>4817 You will have to stop sucking so much
>>4817 Just stop your parasitic behavior. Not that complicated.
I feel like the principle of rhythm mentioned in the Kya lion is pulling me back into mundanity and normalfaggotry. Is it likely that I will eventually swing back into fringe wizardry? I am starting to worry about what happens when you die. Previously I just took it for granted that reincarnation is the truth after discovering fringe. I really hope that I’ll come out the other side back again with renewed vigor and interest in fringe.
>>4823 Utilize the power of the Spiral.
(200.06 KB 401x668 upward spiral .png)

>>4823 It's always a gradual process. It's like how the first big slope on the rollercoaster takes time and effort to climb for the cart and after that the momentum carries you through the next ones. Until you don't find your magic persona or your path mundanity will drag you back. Your current self is still too mundane. Magic is still a hobby for you or just a mere interest. Once it turns into a real pursuit with passion and enough energy collects for a breakthrough mundanity will have no effect upon you anymore. It requires constant practice study and effort into the right direction. I fell into the slump several times in the past too but whenever mundanity became too dominant in my life I had an absolute urge for magical practice and whenever I stepped back it always resulted in breakthroughs. >Is it likely that I will eventually swing back into fringe wizardry? If mundane lifestyle is not frustrating and annoying you with it's sheer idiocy constantly then maybe you are the lucky ones that will have a chance to enjoy that conformity. True fringe wizards cannot exist in that environment for too long and will always come back to their path because stagnation in their magical progress gives them existential pain. >I am starting to worry about what happens when you die It's like sleeping but you don't have to wake up in the same mortal body the next day. A true horror or a great relief depending on your karma. >>4824 This btw. Find your own upward spiral and break out of your monotone routines as much as you can towards actual magical practice.
What are /fringe/‘s thoughts on the advisability of casting the sigil “I am a Chemistry Genius”? I don’t need help casting it I just wonder what your opinions are on it?
>>4863 Too vague you have to be clear on what you want. Do you even know what a chemistry genius is? Do you want a job? To be renowned as one? Should I call you a chemistry genius? I could print you something and put it in a golden frame. Does that count? What if we all called you one here? Have a clear intent.
>>4863 It will make you more confident, use that to springboard into more specific workings.
Okay I cast it >>4864 Okay tomorrow I will cast a less vague one if I remember to. It is hard for me to cum twice in a day. I don’t want a job in chem. I just want to get really good at it and master it, in order to make cool things at home like sulfuric acid out of household items or make improvised chemicals at home to make other neat things in an at home mini industrial revolution. Stuff like making a hydrochloric acid cottage industry in my parent’s house, or melting metal cans in my backyard to make equipment to make more chemicals. Do you have any suggestions for a less vague Sigil?
>>4866 >Stuff like making a hydrochloric acid cottage industry in my parent’s house, or melting metal cans in my backyard to make equipment to make more chemicals Sounds cool! >Do you have any suggestions for a less vague Sigil Not really but a servitor would be "easier" for this doesn't mean you can't use sigils though. By all means explore your wants and do stuff have fun! know when to be responsible also don't ignore your feelings
>>4866 >I don’t want a job in chem. I just want to get really good at it and master it, in order to make cool things at home like sulfuric acid out of household items or make improvised chemicals at home to make other neat things in an at home mini industrial revolution Just look up teks online and do them in a private well-ventilated area. DMT is something interesting that's pretty easy for beginners to make. There's lots of videos of various chemistry techniques out there and glassware is pretty cheap on Amazon. Use the sigils to bring interesting recipes to you and improve your precision during the work.
Will anything bad happen if I practice evocation as described in https://fringearchives.neocities.org/archive/fringechan/fringe/68#68 Without meditating at all? I don’t meditate. I know I should but I don’t.
>>4898 Meditation is as important as CHECKING THESE DUBS
(353.00 KB 852x478 Impressive.mp4)

>>4898 The reason why meditation is paramount so you can learn to grasp your own mind learn to handle your internal levers that operate your brainwave frequencies and know which thoughts are yours and which ones come from foreign influences. If you randomly invite foreign spirits into your mind without knowing yourself or at least having any level of foundation then there is a high likelihood for madness once you lose control over your natural thought flow. Or spirits will be so disgusted by your filthy and untrained mind they don't even bother establishing a proper connection with you at all. Some people have a knack for it and require less amount of meditation while others have to do it as much as they can. I developed a knack for it already but I still require meditation to balance my mind and my internal energies properly.
Is Mantak Chia stuff actually dangerous? It seems very similar to Bardon's IIH which it seems only discord trannies have a hateboner for, without ever giving a valid reason as to why
>>5125 >Is Mantak Chia stuff actually dangerous? All tantric practices without a master overseeing your development is dangerous. Magic and spiritual techniques can be dangerous especially if you are doing it wrong. You will have to develop your common sense in these practices and feel the "sweet spot" while doing them intuitively. Electricity is also dangerous but we all converse through an infrastructure that utilizes it constantly. I never really heard harsh criticism towards Mantak Chia tho I cannot say that I strictly followed his practices either. If you don't have a sense for taoism it might be hard to grasp and follow properly. And that might make it either dangerous or ineffective. >It seems very similar to Bardon's IIH which it seems only discord trannies have a hateboner for, without ever giving a valid reason as to why Now this is something I am trying to understand for a while. What the fuck are these people? I cannot decide if they are disinformation agents that try to annoy everyone who tries to do any practice or assblasted contrarians who think themselves "smart" for hating on everything. They feel like some leftover energies from the fedora and pseud snob egregores that can't find their place now that atheists are as cringe as possible and trying to form some new groupthink with the power of discord groups and attack everyone who is not on their "superior mentality". I think more and more people like them will appear on fringe once it will retain it's activity and I am thinking about ways how to deal with them because the way they talk is reeking of close minded discord thinking. I don't know if they are mentally poisoned from a disinformation propaganda or they are honestly this retarded. While trying to look at these people I found some weird metallic contraptions that appeared in their head and I don't know if it manifested on it's own as some spiritual mental blocks caused by "modernist elitism" or they are some actual mindcontrol devices. TL;DR.: Everything in spirituality is dangerous especially if you are retarded. Find what works for you and see if it "clicks" then try to follow through with it.
>>5125 >Bardon's IIH >>5130 I looked at it and didn't see anything especially useful in it, the methods described seem time consuming and not very beneficial, plus that they're mostly just random entry level methods taken from yoga and other practices. Joy of Satan uses the same things, also without telling anyone the origin of the methods. I don't personally see what good would come from practicing those things according to that structure. Do something that has some more solid historical foundation and isn't a mix of different (likely incompatible) methods if you want to get somewhere. A review I read before finally discarding his books said his study of Hebrew was just scribbling individual letters out of context, so mostly meaningless.
>>5138 >the methods described seem time consuming and not very beneficial They are. Bardon was hellbent on "safety" too much. His books are only good as a neophyte perspective improver and give some good pointers you have to look for but hating on it is lame. I do not share his perspective in some regards mostly because it slows down my process to much Truly shows his Czech mentality btw. They mostly think like that >A review I read before finally discarding his books said his study of Hebrew was just scribbling individual letters out of context, so mostly meaningless. That was his entry point into Kabbalah. Mere scribbling is good enough for some conceptual bridging but otherwise it's meaningless for most. But the only real meaning I can find in those books is how it affected western occultism in the past century. I want to reread it to show my respect someday. But I fear that it will only annoy me further because I will reconnect to a madness that shaped the mind of the average person a century ago.
>>5130 >a sense for taoism Could you please elaborate on what that is? There's something about Taoism that feels so clean compared to "muh abrahamicks," even though there's just as much fail & aids in the slant-eye community. >I never really heard harsh criticism towards Mantak Chia Almost every mention of him I've ever seen came with a melodramatic warning label. Maybe it's coomer rage?
>>5180 It takes one web search to understand why you should stay away from the guy. >taoism >qi gong Yeah it's fake. Taoism when practiced is called tai chi. Qi gong is buddhist. You can't call it taoism and use the method which is a manifestation of buddhism, then you practice buddhism.
(64.98 KB 1068x710 taoism aint free.png)

>>5180 >Could you please elaborate on what that is? I will try. But it's complex. Taoism is a "completed" but not yet "fully discovered" system. There are celestial realms aka "Heavens" in the western understanding where the greater beings of Dao reside and can grant you understanding and the "perfection" of that science. If it's autism will "click" in your mind then you can advance with it and I recommend it deeply. Ofc there is that saying that >those who speak of the dao do not understand the dao which kinda means that you cannot explain this "Perfectly" because you are a fallible human and imperfection cannot explain perfection also imperfection is perfection on it's own regard etc which means most sources you will find will be either godsent knowledge or useless autistic schizo retardation. Wish I could give you more sources but sadly I couldn't find a single one that I agreed 100%. Mostly because even older daoist text and imagery that they had were made in "symbolic way" before western scientific mindset warped their expression because symbolic representation of the anatomy and the world helps your mind "get it" better than perfect anatomical reconstructions and once your internal eye activates you will have the ability see how it works and once you see it it might be different from most texts you read so far. There is 2 main reason for that. First we are all different and people with different soul and genetic composition require different methods and second there are many layers within the body and you might never know which one you are seeing and how "good" is your sight. The main problem with Taoism that it's not perfectly understood and translated especially in the western world. But the Dao is everywhere and everything. If you get it intuitively or find entities that can guide you then you are golden. >compared to "muh abrahamicks," The methods of the abrahamic religions are... borrowed from Egyptian and Babylonian traditions and forced into Jewish Narratives then with Christianity they went further and forced it into Roman narratives while integrating as much pagan and eastern traditions as they could. Oh and gnostics were also influencing Christianity then they were exiled from the main branch several times. Then we have the current "modernist" angle where science and jewish tricks constantly mess with the perception of the whole thing. >even though there's just as much fail & aids in the slant-eye community. Yes... I talked to entities about the current state of them and it was a mess. Chinks went through an extreme level of degeneracy in the past centuries (they had their own weimar and blood sacrifice cults and still have we just don't know of them that well) then they had commies that culled most then made them discard everything that is not "fitting" into their "communist science". And their clear-sighted and clear-minded mentality that they were supposed to teach vanished from the mainstream because it is real hard to be clear minded in a degenerated and hostile society so they usually keep it to themselves in their circles and now their entire faith and science is more akin to "flavor" and propaganda if the CCP considers them a benefit otherwise they are destroyed. But this is politics and it's not pretty and true mastery comes when you can discard politics and drama while connecting to the main teaching as much as possible. >Almost every mention of him I've ever seen came with a melodramatic warning label You are right... I was not really part of communities on the level /x/ tier neophyte sites in the past 7 years. Especially not in those that favor drama over actual discussion. Occult communities reek from drama 90% of the times. Also about pic all I can say is that <tantra without a master being present is the same as having sex with a poisonous snake It's internal alchemy and if you move and merge the wrong energies shit happens and those with 0 energetic awareness will bitch and moan how they fucked themselves forever instead of realizing the way their energies should move. I too fumbled my energy work many times and yes it's not pretty and when you blindly follow instructions without understanding what they are about you can fuck it up. Not all people are the same and that makes them misuse and misinterpret guidebooks many times. This is why most traditions were strictly personal and oral in the past and even nowadays because books are unreliable. Ultimately it depends your own ability how well you can utilize the information. Also I like how these scaremonegers say >entire forums sprang up to help then not even willing to link or post any examples so others can learn from the mistakes. This is why sorcery and magic is banned in many religions because retards just fuck it up then the leaders decide it's better to stay as ignorant than mess with the wrong forces. These guys do the same and I don't know if they do it because they are scared or they have other intentions with this. >>5182 >taoism >qi gong Yeah it's fake. Taoism when practiced is called tai chi This is semantics because most philosophies merged and borrowed many practices in the eastern parts. Hindu Buddhist Taoist Shamanist/Shintoist they blended and separated constantly. Easterners are usually annoyed by this western mentality how if you are doing X then it cannot be Y and in most cases they are using terms or "buzzwords" they can sell the simpleminded and ignorant because if they try to explain the deeper nuances or use more complicated terms then everyone gets confused by it. Like I heard Buddhists talk about how in the 70s there was a great effort to rebrand Buddhism and it's techniques because if they told the mundanes that it is to "overcome suffering" then they would say lmao but if they said it is to "overcome stress" then everyone went their and tried to learn the techniques as fast as they could. All they had to do is to rebrand "suffering" as "stress" and there are other conceptual switches in many teachings and traditions because otherwise the people were not willing to accept it. Whatever to tell you the "truth" I would need to seriously reread the books and do the practice from the get go to give you a proper take on my current level. The last time I skimmed the books was like 8 years ago and I only have 5 books from him. On my current level I probably would be able to have a better judgement but currently my practice is not really coming from books anymore and I am busy with other projects. And yes everything that messes with sexual energy can be dangerous but whenever some just disregards something without giving context why or giving a better alternative I get suspicious of their intentions and practices. And never forget. Whoever speaks of the Dao does not understand the Dao. You can apply it to everything. But you might never know what you learn from others so always stay open minded and experiment until finding your way
>>5186 wtf is with my grammar holy shit. Whenever I clean parts of my mind my thoughtflow desyncs from my ability to formulate sentences properly especially if I talk about spirituality. I will have to meditate on this issue again. Where is the residential chinese medicine fringe wizard anyways? He might be better suited to answer these questions.
>>5186 >This is semantics Not to talk down on you, but I'm so tired of hearing this. It's as if people don't realize what they are saying. Semantics is what a word or term refers to in reality. If I say something means it's an orange and you say you mean apple, that's semantics, but when you say "it's semantics, ignore it", you are basically saying "ok I don't know the difference between apples and oranges so let's just pretend they are the same thing". It's such a stupid way to discard a statement. If you confuse some substances, the result can be lethal, but nah, let's not get hung up on semantics. Taoism works with the forces of destruction and creation, and that is labeled "tai chi". Mess this up and you could "whoops, accidentally" your whole existence of the soul if you're a beginner with no stability. It's extremely dangerous. Qi gong is about moving Qi, the breath of the body and the universe, it's not polar and has no real connection to the forces worked with in tai chi. A "master" who mixes up the concept at this fundamental level clearly has no idea what the fuck he's doing, and it's to no surprise that people got in trouble for "practicing" his stuff.
That pop up with a timer for some extra-cheap beginner course deal on the Mantak Chia website, plus the statement that he's certified by the national Chinese Qi Gong association, should both tell you enough, it just screams "Chinese scam". ///Buy now, Extra Chinese Mystical Trad Healing, only $199.99 - 23.59 hours left\\\ ///You have Virus! Buy now!\\\
>>5189 >Not to talk down on you Feel free to do so. The way I write in the last days require some stimulant because it sucks and I am trying to figure out wtf is wrong besides that I am trying to let go of thinking in words and narratives for a while. >tai chi Okay excuse my ignorance but if I know it right I think the main difference that tai chi requires motion and it is a martial art and while qi gong is just about energy movement which can be done in meditation without any movement and that is not considered as a "martial art" by default. What I am trying to say is that tai chi is a branch of taoism while qi gong is just energy work with an another term. >Taoism works with the forces of destruction and creation And now I found out what is my main problem here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taiji_(philosophy) You mean Taiji which was simplified as tai chi and that counts as martial art in mainstream culture. See? Semantics is important if people don't get what you mean. You can say orange but if people don't know if it's the fruit or the color or the orange man then it can mess things up >>5190 Yes it's always important to look into the current state of the authors and how much they deviated since they wrote their books or if the site is only using their name or not Also I have a hunch he is a "taoist" because he cannot fit his exercises into any buddhist school system thus cannot call them as such and founding a new religion/movement is not a good idea so it's better to fit into an existing ones most of the time. >Mess this up and you could "whoops, accidentally" your whole existence of the soul Then mess it up from the opposite direction and unwhoops yourself deliberately then bamm you are on the path towards dao. Still trying to figure out the reasoning behind drinking mercury tho. I don't get something about their elemental alchemy and I am sure it's partially because we handle elements way too differently nowadays.
>>5190 What are your thoughts on the /fringe/ library?
>>5189 If a culture uses the term 'apple' to refer to oranges, but you refuse to accept that apple means orange in that culture and instead insist that they must be falsely claiming to be cultivating malus domestica because "that's what the term means", then that's semantics. This culture probably has a different term to refer to what you view as an orange. This attitude is basically the same a chemist dismissing a peer's entire body of work simply because they use the term 'quicksilver' to refer to mercury. Using the logic of "well mercury isn't elemental silver and if you treat it as such you might get killed". You need to learn to empathize with the meaning behind what people are saying instead of just dismissing them out of hand because they don't share your vocabulary.
>>5191 >the main difference that tai chi requires motion and it is a martial art and while qi gong is just about energy movement which can be done in meditation without any movement and that is not considered as a "martial art" by default. Tai chi chuan (literally adding "fist" to the term for the "philosophical" practice) is the martial art. The peaceful practice is just tai chi. That wiki article is a mess. They write out "tai chi" but the Chinese next to it has the "hand" character included. It was created and popularized by some Chinese general wanting to help soldiers survive better, hoping they'd develop super natural abilities for combat. In reality if you go to take tai chi chuan lessons today (join a club) you will learn fencing with real Chinese model swords. Same as whatever the European version is called where cringy people do mock battles and cut each other's arm halfway through, but tai chi chuan doesn't use sharp swords. I know the details because a family member practices it since years back. The club at one point was under investigation for terrorism after an order of swords got stuck at customs. Qi Gong on the other hand makes no distinction between peaceful or martial, the only difference is in if qi is cultivated via the muscles and surface tissue or the dantian (also called "inner" qi gong). Different schools focus on either of them normally, so they call it medical qi gong or martial gi gong, but they're often a mix with a leaning in one direction. Kung Fu may include inner qi gong for example, and Falun Gong claims to develop martial abilities. Please don't make a bunch of wild statements if you haven't even seen or tried the thing you are talking about. I hate to be that guy, but in this case should probably point out I have experience from practicing qi gong, karate, judo, ju jutsu and tai jutsu (formerly ninjutsu) all from taking classes for at least one school length term. I've done tai chi on my own using instruction videos to see what the result would be.
>>5193 In that case we are actually discussing semantics, not discarding a discussion with the motivation that "it's semantics and irrelevant". I'm not objecting to actually discussing semantics.
>>5191 > I have a hunch he is a "taoist" because he cannot fit his exercises into any buddhist school system thus cannot call them as such and founding a new religion/movement is not a good idea Since he has "healing" as a selling point, he could just call it "medical qi gong". Chinese people are atheists so there is no reason to add a religion. But then this all just falls within the category of regular Chinese way of running a business, make bold and stupid claims and sell harmful products to stupid people. There's also an intrusive energy coming from the guy, I can understand this will provoke people, aside from the "selling courses" part.
>>5195 >Please don't make a bunch of wild statements if you haven't even seen or tried the thing you are talking about. No I will because I want to understand this and I thought tai chi is a martial art and I am sure most of the readers consider it that way too. And I don't have this. I only interacted with other realms where some of the mechanics were explained to me and I am absolutely unfamiliar and untainted also by the mainstream usage of these terms. I am ignorant in it's mainstream usage. Also I could be also that guy who points out that westernized chinese arts are all watered down for mass consumption because these things cannot be taught for a wider audience that easily. Especially when you explained how they are "polar opposites" while it is all about seeing how they constantly blend into each other and "create each other". And yes this is absolute semantics because it was mistranslated and misunderstood as much as possible. >>5197 >it's semantics and irrelevant No I meant that it's semantics and it's IMPORTANT because we might misunderstand some things if we clear it up. I care about etymology a lot but I cannot accept what you say if I don't share the same conceptual understanding. The main reason for it is that you have decades worth of experience from western education while I have barely years worth intuitive glimpses into the system which is lacking for a proper discussion ofc but if I cannot connect to your explanation then I require clarification and otherwise I cannot get it. >>5198 >Chinese people are atheists so there is no reason to add a religion. Buddhists are also "atheists". The problem is that the "allure of tradition" gained a comeback after chinese realized it can boost moral and grant them "cultural victory". There is a different in "communist atheism" and the "atheism" these teachings have. >Since he has "healing" as a selling point, he could just call it "medical qi gong" I think that would make it into a "science" and then "qi gong scientists" will have to accept his ways as "real" otherwise he is no "qi gong scientist". But yeah I am not big on chinese academic politics. >But then this all just falls within the category of regular Chinese way of running a business, make bold and stupid claims and sell harmful products to stupid people I think very few can escape this modus operandi there if they are reaching the "mainstream" stage >There's also an intrusive energy coming from the guy For me it's ok. Feels like someone who is getting his outer energies "rusty" because the people he interacts with but still manages to keep himself together. While what I felt emanating from Li Hongzhi made my inner animalistic energies murderous. Still not sure what I felt there
>>5199 >we might misunderstand some things if we clear it up *We might understand it once we clear it up... freudian slips... >There is a different there is a difference... Ever since I tried to explain Akasha poster how the minds work something switched in my head and the thoughts flow a different way. >>5195 >Please don't make a bunch of wild statements Please can you explain what statements of mine were "wild"? Because I think it was quite tame compared to most things that were discussed here and it tried to express how I interact with the realms and derive knowledge from. My problem is that I have hard time syncing it with the mundane mainstream consensus and I use fringe to figure out how to improve this part of myself.
>>5199 >I thought tai chi is a martial art and I am sure most of the readers consider it that way too Why? To me this is so obvious and clearly wrong. Why would "all readers" here have misunderstood it? Ok, let me answer that myself then, because I have a guess. Once you start learning martial arts you will almost instantly face the "family tree" discussion. You'll be at the club and someone says "I trained at this other club named [insert name] and they do things differently like this [demonstration in locker room]. It was founded by [insert name] who had trained under [continue with more names for 10 min]." So you'll soon know a lot about different martial arts schools, how they differ, who founded them and where you can train. People move between clubs all the time and that way you learn more. After some years you'll fairly easily identify martial arts and its techniques in movies and videos, along with recalling its lore instantly to some degree. This builds your vocabulary and creates a map of the martial arts landscape, as well as its intersections with other asian arts, including qi gong, tai chi, zen, calligraphy... Then today we have the tiktok "always online" generation feeding their behaviour patterns into algorithms which functions like a centrifuge of their thinking, and this gets flung out over all social media. Most of them have no real life experience and the shallowest possible understanding of things, from seeing them mentioned in a 13 sec long video with some fast dance music overlay, and they think that's what it is. Then the attitude of "I saw it pass by on my feed once so I know what it is" get cemented and they have no interest in actually learning what something is, then just discard any discussion beyond what can be fitted into that format. Now we are being polluted by this thinking everywhere online via the infamous algorithms and anyone who didn't know anything to being with will become narrowminded and still certain that they have it right, which is only possible when knowing nothing. >I am ignorant in it's mainstream usage. Also I could be also that guy who points out that westernized chinese arts are all watered down for mass consumption because these things cannot be taught for a wider audience that easily. Especially when you explained how they are "polar opposites" No, I said "it's not polar" as in "does not have poles", in reference to Qi Gong not working with the extreme poles of destruction/creation. Tai chi is "the void of destruction or creation" with nothing in between, no Qi. That's what I found then trying some basics, and it creates a "ring" which contains either of these forces. At the time the Queen was also present, and took part once, I then noticed she was wearing a large number of such rings are bracelets, the left hand for destruction and the right for creation. Maybe there are "westernized asian arts" in USA, but I haven't seen that side. On the contrary the clubs tend to be very well integrated with it's asian history. There are national sports associations for all martial arts which have olympic attendees, so those have a standard to follow. For others, like Taijutsu, the clubs are directly a part of the Japanese Bujinkan organization, grading at your local club is even to be verified and registered by the Japanese association. It's also common for martial artists to be massive weebs, with some going to Japan to train every year to stay in contact with the tradition. Now this post got long so I don't know if I got everything in, but I'll end it here.
>>5199 >the guy's energy The problem is not with the Qi (as in Li's case) but with the mixing in of the Taoist "destruction" force, which is a silent killer, it has no energy. He's got that thing mixed in, and it may appear like you're drinking soup and suddenly there's a bubble of acid coming up from nowhere and you burn you throat and gets ruined for life. That's what it looks like to me. It may seem fine for many, then randomly out of nowhere it kills someone. Not enough to be verifiable, it just happens now and then. That kind of thing. >>5200 >can you explain what statements of mine were "wild"? Because I think it was quite tame compared to most things that were discussed here I can't point to a single statement because it's the way your entire longpost up there is written. You throw out a bunch of vague statements that aren't correct, but still too vague for it to be possible to argue against them. If someone tried (like I do sometimes) there is always room for misunderstanding or re-interpreting what the post says to make it look like the criticism is meaningless. Same as what I was getting at in my post above, "tiktok vagueness" maybe the right description, when someone points out that "by my personal experience from years of being involved with what you are mentioning, I know that what you said isn't like that" they will not understand in what way the correction differs from what they said, and will just laugh it off with >but that's the same thing, LOL why are you butthurt over a word and that makes it impossible to discuss what the problem is.
Please, go back to /sunflower/.

Are elves real?
>>5226 I hope so
>>5226 The word elf acted as an umbrella term for several beings in the past. We can thank Tolkien for the image we have about elves nowadays. And yes all type of them exist but they usually reside in separate dimensions and rarely meddle with human affairs openly

Anyone remember that thread about how to present your /fringe/ knowledge to mundanes and whether to do so at all? There was one guy who said he pretends to be a hardcore atheist and ruthlessly tears down anything even remotely spiritual. Another said he calls himself "agnostic" because it sounds like "a gnostic."

>>5327 No. Lying like that sounds like bad karma anyway.

Ok so LBRH and other daily rituals keep my schizo parasite(s) more or less pacified and I feel alive. What's the next step, how do I fkn blow this thing the fuck up? For some reason I stopped my ritual practice for like a week or something and the results were really, really tiresome flood of intrusive negative thoughts, nonstop retarded quarrels with 'myself', heavy daydreaming about mundane bullshit I don't like, depression out of nowhere, suicidal thoughts with very elaborate justifications, getting extremely tired before lbrp. checks most of the Jerry Marzinsky's patterns. I'm in a good mood, but the thing still bothers me and messes with me although to a lesser degree. I've had this motherfucker on board for a long time. Are there common ways to exorcise the parasite? I'm a beginner btw (and literally started trying to meditate today).
>>5353 >I'm a beginner btw (and literally started trying to meditate today). Keep doing it. What you require is a stronger energy body and a calmer and steadier mind then parasites cannot eat you anymore. >Are there common ways to exorcise the parasite? A million but once you get stronger they cannot feed on you that easily and they have a million types and forms especially in the modern society. Different parasites require you to be on a specific mindwave or frequency so they can feed on you. So they will try to pull you down to their frequency. If your frequency becomes too high and continuous you will literally "shake them off" by default. The LBRH is a good start but you will need to keep finding and doing these energetic strengthening practices. They say it "banishes" entities but it's more akin to strengthen your energies and that extra strength of your energies throws them off. Personally I did LBRP and the planetary magic Bearheart explained a decade ago at the start but I don't use specific exercises I can share anymore The mundane way of solving this is by improving your lifestyle tremendously while the magical is that whenever you have these intrusive thoughts you will grit your teeth and practice spirituality and energy work no matter what. So instead of the >should I meditate today nah I don't feel like it maybe tomorrow You will go <I had an intrusive thought today so I will meditate twice as much and look for more magical exercises to incorporate into my practice This way your intrusive thoughts will be too "scared" to even remind you of their existence. There are "surface parasites" that visibly mess with your mind and body and deeper ones that you can only uncover with longer periods of meditation and introspection. In most cases they are the source of your "surface parasites" and they stem from deeper issues and scars that drag down your frequency by default. Keep the fight on and never falter. That's all I can say. Once you realize how your own energies "shine" you will know intuitively how to access and improve your own "upward spiral". Also they hate music and incense but don't rely on them as a clutch too much. They only serve as a temporal solution.
>>5355 >They say it "banishes" entities but it's more akin to strengthen your energies and that extra strength of your energies throws them off. Oh well put. It really feels like this, makes me more conscious, 'more myself' as I like to put it. >Also they hate music and incense but don't rely on them as a clutch too much. They only serve as a temporal solution. Yeah music can do wonders at first but turns against me when overdosed. >The mundane way of solving this is by improving your lifestyle tremendously while the magical is that whenever you have these intrusive thoughts you will grit your teeth and practice spirituality and energy work no matter what. >Keep the fight on and never falter. That's all I can say. That's actually really great news for me. Good to be reassured that I'm heading the right way. Also I guess I'm now motivated enough to keep pushing onward (consequences for being lazy are more than unpleasant now kek). Thanks! Also checkem.
Will bad things happen to me if I use magic to redpill whites and kill niggers? Currently the lowliest of the low neophytes so this won’t be technically feasible for some time.
>>5414 No but you need to be competent at astral combat since glowies will probably start coming at you.
are the guided yoga videos on youtube any good for getting into energy work or are they new age trash?
>>5419 That's rather non-specific; there's a good chance that a bit of the stuff there is good, while most of it is new age trash or otherwise bad. You'll get a better reply if you name a channel or two.
What does it mean that my moon is square pluto zero orb?
>>5481 What do you mean by "your moon" and why do you think it's "square pluto zero orb"?
>>5489 My natal moon in my birth chart. It is being aspected by that planet in my natal chart. Zero orb means it is an exact aspect.
>>5490 Honestly I don't think many, if any, people here do astrology. I might be wrong though.
>>5481 It means you have trouble with your emotions that you cannot control well in some cases. But a single aspect cannot describe you well enough especially with only a square aspect so make a full chart on astro.com. If that site is too mainstream for you then use vt.clairvision.org/astro/switchboard for a quite detailed interpretation and pathworking. But this site requires you to give your birth data and once you have a file you will have to print out the interpretation into a PDF file in the menu. You will have to click on View -> Interpretation -> Complete -> then submit to get the PDF file. This site helped me when I started getting into astrology many years ago quite well but the site is quite old so it requires some extra clicks while navigating. >>5502 Dabbled in it some years ago but only for my own aspects and didn't really immerse myself in it deeply enough to be able to give astrology advice for others without the help of a chart maker site. I think everyone should use some chart maker sites then figure out the rest on their own. Mainstream astrology is way too soccer mom tier while if you want to use it for your occult practices then it becomes way too personal how well you can utilize it. I don't really utilize astrology in my core practices anymore because most sources are either way too autistic or way too vague and the rest usually goes into blatant scam territory. There was a time when it was important for me but ever since the saturn-pluto conjunction in 2020 christmas I dropped it. There were too many happenings at once in the past 4 years and I couldn't use it reliably anymore.

Is there such thing as a /fringe/ shoe? By this I mean ones that would allow your feet to "ground" on the earth's energy field and for you to step toe-first without restriction, and just be gentler on the feet overall.
>>5536 >Is there such thing as a /fringe/ shoe? I think the closest we have to an "official fringe shoe" is whatever smiley is wearing. >By this I mean ones that would allow your feet to "ground" on the earth's energy field That one is an illusion. Hard to get over it I know. Had to break through several energy centers within the leg to see the "Internal ecosystem" of the body and see how the upper part of the legs are like cities the tights are like violent warring horseriders below it animals then the foot is like a flower field. The knee is still a mystery for me tho. It gets weirder whenever I look at it Had to see how these places circulate energy and had to manually activate them. It was a moment of full insanity for me. The reason I managed to witness this insight because some greater force decided to intervene and teach it to me in an emergency channeling because I completely lost my ability of grounding. A day or 2 later I realized that I am losing the hold upon my body. I live in a 2 story building and realized I don't have a natural connection to the earth because I live in a building way too above earth. I realized I have to touch the earth asap or my soul will leave my body and I will die. I had a house plant that I watered diligently for years because I got it as a gift and even tho I dislike keeping plants in my house because they belong in the earth and trapping a plant in a claypot for amusement feels wrong. I love plants but I don't think they deserve being trapped in clay and concrete. Let them stay in fertile soil where they belong. Was thinking about planting it outside but I feared it would wither if I put it into the wrong soil. I thought that I can temporarily connect to that plant as a temporary grounding and if I do it I will be able to maintain my connection with earth before I run outside to renew my connection with the soil... The plant started to wither instantly. Every time I blinked with my eyes the green leaves of the plant got drier and browner. When I was halfway out of the house the plant almost withered away... I realized that my energetic madness is killing the plant and it will completely wither away a moment before stepping outside. If the plant dies then my insane misconception will equate the life of the plant with my very own life and if I reinforce that stupidity I might even reincarnate as a plant... Because of that I turned back and put down the half dried plant back to it's place and realized that energies of earth is "everywhere" and focusing all my energies to go through a single plant so I can think I am connecting to the "earth" is retarded. The plant completely withered away the next day. Threw it out because it reminded of my temporary madness Had to realize that "touching the soil with your soles" for grounding/connecting to earth is just an "unnecessary condition" that you create with your mind. If you don't touch the earth then you are not on the earth? Are you on a different planet then? There are some monasteries and shrines that employ this trick tho but that is an another story What connects us to the earth what connects every grain of sand together to form the soil to form the earth? The answer is gravity. If you feel the gravity of earth you are on earth. You can let the extra energies that grant you your imbalance taken by that gravity. The energies usually attached to your "personal gravity" which is created by your energy field/ego which is being influenced by your mind and emotions. If you can "Let go" of the energies it will be "taken" by gravity. The gravity of earth or the sun or the moon will take it away. Had to realize that the core of the earth is also a "sun" that burns everything. The soil and the bedrock is "mere coating" and they are not exactly necessary "conduits". Plants are connected to the earth the earth is connected to the bedrock the bedrock is connected to the core of earth. Plants cannot grow without the soil nor without the sun. If you don't feel the connection with earth they recommend you to walk barefooted or hug trees spend time naked in nature etc. But that is an illusion. Your kinetic senses grant you the extra "safety" feeling. Some people only consider them "connected to others" if they can touch them constantly. If you stop hugging a tree you won't fly away. The trees inhale CO2 and exhale Oxygen. Even by breathing you connect to the trees thus you connect to the deepest parts of the earth's ecosystem with that. Even the internet can connect wireless nowadays. Being connected with cables is not even a requirement for physical technology that relies exclusively on the material nowadays. If materialist technology managed to overcome this limitation you should also have this realization. Even clouds ground themselves via raining and lightning You will have to feel how you are connecting to the observable and non-observable reality around you. You will have to give away which is not yours and let those energies that belong to you return. That way you will realize the balance. Don't be fooled by your senses. You are not your senses. Your senses are not defining you. Hard to overcome this mortal limitation I know but it's necessary. If you can't realize this then you will have to walk barefooted or with wooden sandals to ground yourself. Maybe dig the lower parts of your body into earth to "get it" meditate naked in the forest or I don't know. There are probably other less insane methodologies for this realization then the one I had to go through >for you to step toe-first without restriction Running shoes and some tour shoes helped me in that regard but I don't use anything special. >and just be gentler on the feet overall. I think that depends on the shoe. I know some homeopathic shoes are dealing with this issue but I was never into them. Gurus in the past walked with these wooden sandals or barefooted so I don't think anything more comfortable is necessary. Once you fix your posture your legs will walk even more effortlessly. Yoga can help you with this. TL;DR.: For grounding use the ever present gravitational force of earth to your advantage instead of requiring the touch of the soil. ALL IS MIND after all. If you realize your connection with earth is permanent as long as you are an incarnated human you won't need these "material clutches" to walk your spiritual path.Or you reincarnate as a hoofed demon. Horns and hoofs represent the constant connection to earth and the skies. Hair also represents earthly attachments. This is why monks shave their head. Realize the many ways you connect to earth. Also lmao at that shoe. I bet there are some hippie shoes with grasses and crystals too. Just googled it and "orgone shoes" are a thing. Must be fun being a materialist spiritualist. It's only 40$! What a steal!
Will meditation every day help me resist the degenerate mental influences around me and make an aura that makes me immune to normalfaggotry and radiates fascism and anti-degeneracy? Seems like everything in my surroundings is corrupt in some way except in corners of the internet like this so the only way to make a true spiritual aura would come from within because every thing you can buy with money and every organized group you can join has jews behind it pulling the strings. I am currently trying to get into meditation, nofap, and kinda unfortunately new age guided yoga videos. I really am struck by the idea that most external things have some sort of jewish energy in some way, so the more homemade something is, the better the energy is. For example it would be better to homemake spell candles and oils and whatnot because that way it wouldn't be made in a factory and the money would not be going to jews who hate you. I'm currently trying to start a magical herb garden now that I saw someone else on /fringe/ doing that, but based off of a brief internet search of the magical properties of herbs, different websites say different things for the same herb. such as "basil is fire element, mars planet, masculine" and then a different website saying something contradictory. It also resonates with me not to buy seeds from a garden store but instead take cuttings from plants from nature if i can find them and if I can't then using a grocery store instead of garden store. I feel like nature is one place that the jews don't have full control over just like the internet. Once I get better at chemistry and get more equipment I might be able to make a synthetic candle wax substitute from different precursors and combine that with homegrown herbs and figure out a way to distill essential oils out of the herbs I grow in my magical pro-Hitler garden and figure out methods of making wicks. That way I would have a truly anti-jew candle that I could use in my rituals. But for the mean time I'll be using store bought for rituals.
>>5543 >make an aura that makes me immune to normalfaggotry and radiates fascism and anti-degeneracy Sounds like you just need to do energy body development exercises. Try the meditations in Robert Bruce's Energy Work >>1098
>>5543 Also nofap can help you build creative energies, but it's pointless if you don't proceed to harness those energies. Make sure to do this >>969
>>5544 I tried the first exercise in the book with tactile imaging but I don't feel any energy whatsoever. And the stuff I do feel I'm not creating I'm just noticing. I'm stuck on the part where he is talking about feeling energy in your kneecap or thumb or whatever.
>>5554 Can you move your awareness to different parts of your body? Move your awareness to your hand. Then move your awareness out of your hand to the air outside your palm. Imagine that a ball of energy surrounds the center of your awareness outside your palm. Don't worry if your imagination isn't vivid, just try. Then slowly move your center of awareness, along with the ball of energy, through your palm and out the back of your hand. Then repeat, back and forth. Experiment with different motions. If you lose the imagination of the energy surrounding your awareness just spend some time re-imagining it. Find a quiet spot and do this for at least 15 minutes. You should get at least some sensory feedback eventually.
>>5555 Nothing happened. I did what you said to do.
>>5556 Something did happen. Every thought has an effect. Describe precisely the mental movements that you performed. Describe what your attention is focusing on when you perform the act of imagination, and how the act of imagination unfolds. Describe precisely how you imagine the act of movement of your awareness and how your awareness changes when you move it (if your awareness isn't changing at all then you aren't actually moving it).
>>5557 I started on my back with my palms to the floor. I was focusing on my right hand, at first trying to feel my hand, and then the area around it. Nothing happened for a while. I began doing various things like moving an energy ball in my mind in and out of my palms. Then I thought maybe it isn't working because my palms are facing into the floor, let me try again with my stomach on the floor so my palms are in the air so I can actually imagine an energy ball. Still nothing, but I tried doing it despite not the best mental image. This whole time I was using my right hand. Whenever I used my right hand and fcoused on it, I only felt energy in my left hand, so I tried focusing on it, but then I only felt energy in my right and not my left. So eventually I focused on both at the same time but it was so subtle. I also felt energy in my right leg little sparks. Everything was extremely subtle and not very noticeable. I tried different things to my hand then like plants growing out of it, air temperature change, heat, cold, drilling my handwith an electric drill, my hand rotating on its axis like a drill, lightning striking my hand, fire burning it, water of different temperatures, electric sparks. None of it produced anything very strong. It was more me sensing energy randomly around my body just happening like it would without me doing anything versus what i wanted which was to create energy. None of it really was related to my thoughts. Something I do remember though was in my leg I felt bubbles like it was a liquid and gas was releasing up my leg through the liquid medium but I wasn't focusing on my leg in that area so I don't think I caused it and besides I've had that bubbles in liquid sensation in my body before just when doing random stuff like playing video games or walking.
>>5559 It sounds like you just need to improve your focus. If your awareness is in your left hand then most of your consciousness should be in your left hand; the rest of your body should be background noise at most, though preferably you should be focusing so much that the rest of your body is invisible to you. You definitely shouldn't be focusing on sensations in other parts of your body. Also experimenting with different techniques is good but if you're unable to stick with one technique for 15 minutes straight then that's a problem. It's like that Bruce Lee quote: "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times." You need to get in a mindset to where you're not anxious about immediately seeing results and are just absorbed in the flow of the exercise. Have you tried quiet mind or single-point meditation? You should definitely take that up. 15-30 minutes a day of solid practice will cause very quick improvement. Strong focus is a prerequisite for magic so this is important. Bardon has some good meditations for this in Initiation into Hermetics, also there's the old meditations thread >>1617 >I tried different things to my hand then like plants growing out of it, air temperature change, heat, cold, drilling my handwith an electric drill, my hand rotating on its axis like a drill, lightning striking my hand, fire burning it, water of different temperatures, electric sparks. Yeah this is way too many things to be attempting in one session. You need to focus on one thing instead of constantly changing the object of your intention and awareness like this. Just set aside at least 15 minutes a day to do a solid session of uninterrupted empty mind meditation and you will start to get better at this very quickly.
>>5557 >>5560 I'm trying to get into meditation. I just started on the day of my nofap pledge. This will help me stay motivated for the meditation. Does meditation ever become fun and enjoyable like video games once you get good at it? When I meditate I just focus on my breath, should I instead try no mind instead of only focusing on my breath and killing out all thought. I meditated today for 14 minutes just focusing on my breath but it was really hard and I could barely get rid of all thought but I definitely tried. I like the number 14 because of it's national socialist symbolism, but I'll start doing 15 I guess. I just started meditation last thursday.
>>5561 Focusing on your breath works good as single-point meditation. If you want to you could try doing single-point in the morning and empty mind in the evening, or something along those lines. It will definitely get easier over time so long as you persevere, and once you're able to do more active meditations like energy work or active imagination it's absolutely very enjoyable. Just keep at it.
>>5561 >Does meditation ever become fun and enjoyable like video games once you get good at it? Yes it does. But I cannot compare it to videogames. It's a completely different "fun". It will make videogames look like a pointless chore and entertainment as an annoying noise once you find your inner perfection. I just cannot recommend meditation enough. It solves so many issues once you realize it's benefits. Takes time to get it right tho.
Why is it that occultists more often than not, end up being a bunch of neurotic drama queens? Isn't the skill of not being that way like Wizardry 101? t. reading the crowley biography for entertainment
>>5579 They either fuck up their own energy circulation then overload their mental and emotional faculties aka shadow work gone wrong or entities are messing with them. Sometimes both. And in some cases some occultists are so bad at overcoming ego death that the ego just overloads itself in a last ditch effort to remain "relevant" until it causes a breakthrough. Oh and let's not forget the classic <no one gets me syndrome. It happens when people refuse to build connections properly to share their views in a profound manner and forget that some higher truths can only be understood after contemplating it long enough in silence. The energetic body of the occultist undergoes changes and when he is not willing to properly go through the process it causes problems for himself and the people around him. But some people have such a deep seated issue with the society around them and the image they built in it so far they have to shed it and they can only do it by completely demolishing the previously established image of theirs. When they go and finally ask the question <Who I am because they don't know the answer anymore. Smart and serious people will have to become pants on head retards while retards will have to become insightful sages to see that. They will have to merge their own polarities and see themselves "fully" for once.
>>5579 The kind of occultists you're looking for (mystics) do not get their biographies written. They're the kind of practitioner who imbue some rock in Tibet with spiritual knowledge so that you can go sit on it and meditate. Yes, that is a thing, and the fact that you didn't know about it is part of the point why "high level" occultists seem like such losers to you. Because they are barely a notch above mundies. If you want to know about actually good occultists, look in the astral. Or make meeting them part of your karma. A word of advice, they will probably abuse you sexually or be alcoholics.
>>5584 >A word of advice, they will probably abuse you sexually or be alcoholics. Personal experience?
>>5562 >>5569 Once I've finished the mandatory 15 minute meditation is it no no on the carpet if i meditate in the shower (a hot one) or is that too degenerate?
>>5590 Why would that be degenerate?
>>5592 >>5590 >is it no no on the carpet Sorry it is a long story but I'm on my mom's computer and o k * a y filters to "no no on the carpet". I did that a long time ago as a kid on my mom's phone and it passed over to her computer. I feel embarrassed now. >Why would that be degenerate? Because Franz Bardon and others have said that hot showers are bad and also I might associate the shower with the meditation and be unable to focus on meditating unless I am in a hot shower.
>>5593 Try successfully meditating at least several times outside of the shower 1st; then you'll be able to do it in the shower if you please, but only if most of your future such meditations aren't there.
>>5593 Man, looking at your posts, you have to slow down. There is literally no logic, no "being clever", you just have to sit and meditate, you're looking too much for escapes from hard work. There's no skipping it like there are no shortcuts in bulding muscle - you have to lift the weight and do it regularly for a prolonged period of time. Don't think about the results - it's just another distraction. Just give up on everything else and meditate 30-60 min a day (in total, split it in parts and do them when you're feeling best).
Why is the atheist flag a banana? Why not monke?

What's a good trick for getting some visible light during astral projection? Could be a summoned light emitting device, nightvision, a way to turn lights on in a room, etc. I know in theory it's as simple as willing there to be light but I need the training wheels version because it's a recurring problem where it's dark and I can't flip a light switch with my ghost hands.
>>5639 Learn to see in the dark. That's the main trick. To elaborate. When you go outside at night the fastest way to "see in the dark" is to stare at the darkest point you can find in the environment and your eyes/pupils will try to open up as much as possible to be able to see in it. It should be automatic but you can speed it up by helping it consciously. Now in astral projection it might be "tricky" in some cases because it's not about being able to "see" but to be able to connect to the place you are visiting. (your mind makes the images that you "see" and not your eyes. Seeing is not just about the eyes but about the mind's ability to process the information and relay it reliably to your conscious) Hard to explain but you will have to "ask" the darkness to "reveal itself" and in some cases it's better to keep dark places dark. Once you see things there you might be also noticed by the "others" that hid in the shadows so far for a reason. Hard to say what to do in your case because the "Luminous body" should be able to "light the way". I am unsure about your current accomplishments in astral projection but the way I see it with my ability you have some dark shell/room around you that you will have to "transcend" to be able to see. Wanted to say that you should "break it" but it's not the right word. Try to look for invisible door knobs and try to "open them". You require a trick like that if my intuition is right. For me astral projection was like rising in pure darkness and once I noticed the spirits that were helping me I unlocked a sort of "holographic vision" where I noticed every object while seeing through the darkness.. Can't say how to "acquire it" because it just "Happens" when it happens. It's about not making your "astral senses" subconsciously "obey" the "rules of the physical senses". Personally I am trying to integrate this "sight" into my physical/waking life but whenever I try I realize that I am still too bound to my own physical senses and require more meditation to properly master it. I get glimpses but never can keep it open for a prolonged time. My mind wants me to follow the "physical programming of the senses" and whenever I switch I lose my grounding after a while. >>5637 Had to google it. Never knew this banana argument was this controversial in the life of these "people". I always pursued the transcendental and never even considered taking these people seriously. If they are happy in their bleak materialist existence and none of their inner parts scream in pain from the banality of their "life" then they are either extremely hopeless or the luckiest of the normalfag population. Never seen a point in "debating" those who think they have all the answers figured already.
>>5645 >When you go outside at night Was thinking of asking on /fringe/ about this but it would be mostly whining. The new LED lights everywhere are a menace and ruin being outside at night. The worst are the new headlights that completely destroy nightvision every time a car drives by. And that's just in my very small town that is fairly remote. It wasn't like this even a few years ago. iirc the smileburg poster mentioned before that he altered his perception of these lights when he did kabbalah magic but I never asked him about it and he's gone now. The digital world is grotesque to me >you have some dark shell/room around you Well whenever I look into a mirror during astral projection, I see a dark amorphous shadow person. It used to freak me out but I realized that it's literally me and would stare into it with the same courage I used to overcome sleep paralysis. Never saw a "luminous body" but when I look at my astral body in 1st person it looks pretty normal. It's a long story but my room used to have a problem with the outlets where the plugs of everything including my bedside lamp itself had to be just so or the lamp wouldn't turn on at all. It was a common AP trigger for me when I would try to fuck with the plugs to get it working and realize I wasn't having any physical effect. I still try to do this out of habit sometimes including that last night before my previous post. Interestingly, I noticed that each time I tried flipping the switch to the ceiling light, the room would flash to appear a little bit brighter, as if my expectation of light was briefly illuminating the room. > I am unsure about your current accomplishments in astral projection I've become pretty good at controlling it once it happens, just being present wherever I find myself and remaining grounded enough to explore and perform experiments. Sometimes it's still a bit much though. Besides the darkness issue I have a big problem with navigation. A good example I wrote about on here before was when I kept APing at will but when I tried to step outside my home I would instantly teleport to some shitty random place for no apparent reason. I think if I practice more with emotional resonance and meditate more it might help. My goal is to be able to explore the astral version of my physical reality at will, whenever I want because it would be insanely fun. A majority of the entities I've encountered were just low level mobs, easy to defeat and I could always hit the panic button if it got too weird. Onto a slightly different subject: A few nights ago I had that one phenomenon we discussed a while ago, which is distinctly different from lucid-dreaming/AP. While the difference between lucidity and a normal dream is essentially the recollection of my wholeness, and binding all my components together so they're not floating around aimlessly, this other phenomenon feels much more deep. I wonder if it's actually a form of timeline travel or a mechanism by which that can be acheived. Basically what I remember happening is "waking up" somewhere and believing it was real. Something gave me suspicion that it wasn't even though everything about it seemed perfectly convincing. I pounded my fists against some kind of wooden particle board thing and decided to hit the panic button without even being sure it was a dream, and fortunately it worked. The sensation is so much different from a dream (lucid or otherwise). Like being pulled out of a deep dark hole. Robert Monroe is the closest I've found to describing experiences like this as separate from AP, but even his categorization is limited imo.
Why is using a pendulum so draining on energy? I'm getting tired after 7-8 yes/no questions, no matter if I'm doing this right or not. Or could it be something with the stone I'm using? I have a tiger's eye (picrel) that I used to wear on my hand to get a little energy boost throughout the day (sadly I develop some kind of tolerance/resistance after a few days of use). Didn't have anything better at hand so I just used the stone. I wanted to use something more 'neutral' anyway, I think I'll carve something (very improvised) out of a stick.

Because "pendulums" are utilizing your dormant intuitive ability for divination. It is not the pendulum that does the work but a part of your subconscious or hyperconscious mind that you rarely use in the modern conformist society. Divination can come from 2 sources. It's either a spirit is trying to help you or your own intuition/higher self. Working with spirits and with your own intuition when you don't have the proper energy flow can be tiring if you don't have the necessary energies to supply the spirit or your intuition. You literally get "tired of yourself". Also in some cases it's not the amount of questions but what type of question you ask. Not every question can be answered with a yes or no and "whoever answers" gets real tired of your questions. Most of the times the spirits might explain that the question is not just wrong but based upon misconceptions and a wrong question can be answered only with a wrong answer. >Or could it be something with the stone I'm using? Divination is all about your own intuitive divination ability. If the divinatory tool "doesn't feel right" then look for something that feels right. That's the main rule. Follow your intuition. Divine for a better divination tool. lol

>>5678 So I guess it'll get better with practice. I'm also trying to start with Robert Bruce Energy Work exercises regularly but it's so laborious at the beginning.. >Not every question can be answered with a yes or no >Most of the times the spirits might explain that the question is not just wrong but based upon misconceptions and a wrong question can be answered only with a wrong answer. Yeah I know the basics of asking questions. I try to make them simple, easily understandable, something 'a computer could understand', but I haven't been asking anything complicated yet. I hope it's my higher spirit answering me and I'm not boring random spirits with stuff like "Is the matchbox I've thrown lying with the marked side up." Also one time the pendulum just swung left and right instead of spinning and that was when the matchbox didn't fall flat but on the edge. Peculiar because with pure logic the answer would be no. >Divine for a better divination tool. lol For now I'll use a metal keyring on a string. I thought it might be too light but it spun visibly when I picked it up. Up to this point my readings weren't very reliable but I feel I'd like a wooden pendulum. Thanks for the reply lol
>>5622 Are you the same anon that told me about my spirit guides in the guide thread? Just curious.
What happened to the /sunflower/ BO?

>>5692 No, I'm a new poster :) >>5696 See picrel. Once the 'Sunflower Project' has ended he gave up the board and disappeared. Pic is from Sunflower General 7. That's all I know lol.
>>5696 Nothing. He's still here, acting like he's a regular /fringe/ poster.
