But once you actually read them, it's clear that the main focus of the stories is the horror/grim direction the setting could potentially take. The Typhlosion story never even mentions sexual intercourse of any kind. It's only implied when it says that the girl woke up one day holding a child in her arms after spending part of the winter with the Typhlosion. She also says the pokemon was her "husband" and that she later lived with "her child" at the edge of the village. The Octillery story only mentions sex in two sentences, using the term "had relations with", making it less erotic and more historical sounding. It's only there to set up the heritage of the main character: the young man. The rest of that story is about the gruesome acts of a human born from such circumstances and how he is forgiven. And the Slakoth story once again only implies intercourse by having the human woman give birth to a Slakoth after being captured by a whole group of pokemon. This was done so that the woman would realize the grave errors of her brutal ways by having her own child get killed like the other Slakoth she had previously tortured with the other villagers. If the author really wanted anyone to be aroused when reading these short tales, she would have described the sexual acts with some form of detail, but she did not. Instead, she's more focused on the gory details, like which parts of the pokemon were getting cut off or stabbed, or doing some funeral fire ritual with the organs of a Typhlosion. One of her other goals seems to be making the humans look barbaric and the pokemon look noble and wise beyond their animalistic forms. But the way she wrote it makes it sound a lot like a typical fanfic. Also, has anyone else noticed how similar the Octillery story is to Veilstone's Myth? The one about the young man who had a sword and went around killing pokemon only to realize his foolishness later?

Sexual content is implied, never described in detail. The closest we get to that is "the man had relations with Octillery."

Here's an unused Fire move that was found in the leak. It turned opposing Steel types into Normal and Ice types into Water. Because the fire is so hot it fucking melts the steel into "normalcy" and ice into water. I had a similar idea long ago for a new Ice move called Ice IX, which would turn any water type move (on any Pokémon) into an ice move and any water type Pokémon into ice types themselves.

I think Fire should have dual immunity to Burn and Freeze, and Ice should have dual immunity to Burn and Freeze. How the fuck do you "burn" an ice cube? It's already being melted by the fire; just cut the status. Ice Types no longer getting a speed drop from Icy Wind does seem like a good idea, given how useful and common the move is in competitive. Ice Types are already one of the weakest Types, so they could use an indirect buff like this. Being immune to Freeze would make sense and be very helpful too, even if getting frozen is somewhat rare. And even if most Ice types are Special attackers, not having to worry about Burn damage is really good. Electric types are immune to Paralysis now, which was a thing beginning in Gen 6. So why didn't they go further and make Ice types immune to Freeze at least? Maybe because it opens other possibilities that could make certain types really overpowered. Say Fire types were immune to Burn and Freeze like you said. All those Physical Fire attacks would never get the Attack drop from burn because they never get burned. And while Freeze is rare, if Fire is immune to Freeze there is never a chance of them being stopped by it if they are just rolling through the enemy team. And Water types, they shouldn't be able to get Burned either, logically. Or Steel types, they shouldn't get Burned either because iron and steel melt under normal circumstances. Before you know it, Burn and Freeze become nearly useless.

Heck, I think moves like Freeze-Dry and Scald are great ideas, so more of that would be cool I guess. At least Megas are finally making an official comeback.

But tbh, I respect GF to stick to their decisions, even if they're bad ones, devs in current year are way trigger happy to change their entire game on a single update, and with a franchise as big as Pokemon, certain traditions have to be maintained, otherwise where the line will be drawn? On the 4th evolution? 5th, 6th? That's why I believe they hold back certain radical changes, even if their teams propose a lot of then.
