Playing games on the easiest difficulty is big-brained; nobody wants to be stressed playing vidya Also, I've run out of games to play except long ass JRPGs and a few assorted newer games
Then why am I still stressed out when I play on the easiest difficulty? Checkmate
>Doing what stupid people can do is big-brained, unlike doing what only smarter people can do Bait?
>>2610 >wojak take a guess
>>2614 We can be friends. Anyone know what happened to all the old games like Shenmue and all the old Japanese games or Sega games? You know, all the cool cool arcade style games or games with the coolness factor that didn't take themselves too seriously? How do I get back to the retro feel in my consoles and lifestyle without spending out the wazoo for retro items or collecting lots of CD game collections? How do I return to making games feel like they should? Today's market feels hollow.
>>2616 Emulation or get an old console and crack it I'd recommend a Deck for the first and/or a 3DS for the later.

>>2617 >>2623 I was watching My Retro Life on youtube and got hit with the nostalgia. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKx2dNlhtEI&ab_channel=MyRetroLife I have a PS5, a Series X, an old PC from 2018, a Switch and a PS3, but I'm going to try to explain what I mean with some background. Back in those days you had all these systems and good games that were coming out all the time, especially games from Japan. Most Nintendo games coming out nowadays are overtly childish and don't interest me as much as they used to. I still like the 3D Marios, but all the other Nintendo first-party games seem pretty childish. I'm purchasing a bunch of digital games on sale for my PS5 because I like the PS5 more than the Series X and want to support Sony while saving money here and there over buying physical; being thrifty. Soon I'll try to have almost every game I like that's available on PS5 so I can always have them on PS consoles even in the future. But what I really want is something like a retro console that just plays everything, from NES games all the way up to at least the Gamecube/PS2/Xbox era having a UI that incorporates every console and without Windows. Wouldn't it be cool to have one single console with everything on it downloaded to a solid-state drive with everything upscaled to 1080p or 4k? That's what I mean.
TLDR; Basically I want a computer with emulators and a stripped down UI that's not like Windows so that it feels like an actual console
If anyone's interested I found this video. This might be a future project. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5c6KZLUWTM

>>2635 >I still like the 3D Marios, but all the other Nintendo first-party games seem pretty childish Don't choose what to play off biased judges or you only hurt yourself by losing out on fun. Family-friendly doesn't mean just for kids, I'm older than most of 8chan and play Nintendo all the time.
>>2650 I wish Nintendo would get away from the handheld thing, but I know a lot of children like looking at a small screen, but I can't stand to look at the small screen knowing I can play it on the big screen. They need a souped up console that's standalone like the Switch, but without the Switch capability, like a Nintendo Switch Pro that is only docked and has more power. Now that would be something.
But to be fair, Nintendo will probably be the last one standing. Nintendo focuses on games for children right now so they can corner the market while Sony and MS make adult games. Nintendo's Switch 2 will probably be the next great last console and they'll be the last one standing unless Sony can rein it in and make good games again. Microsoft is already an abject failure and I never see them coming back making truly good games, but Nintendo still has something they can fall back on, which are children's games. I'm slightly knocking them, but I'd like to see the experimentation they did on the Gamecube with Luigi's Mansion and Super Mario Sunshine come back again. Gamecube had the most experimental games on it, and if they can release Switch 2 with a really good opening lineup, they'll probably wipe out Sony and Microsoft. Sony still has Uncharted and various IPs, so they'll be okay for a while, and MS has a lot of money so they'll make dudebro consoles that are more like PCs with shooting games, so they'll probably integrate with PC. You rekindled my interest in Nintendo with your comment, but Nintendo really needs to appeal to the adult market with Switch 2. They have way too many games for children.
>>2658 way too obvious but here's your (You)
>>2659 LOL. I am baiting you, but Nintendo games are not very good once you've played them. Super Mario Bros. Wonder looks okay, but it doesn't look good enough for me to spend $60 on a basic sidescroller.
>>2666 ok i'll reply for 666 trips get >I played up until the time where you go on the long path towards wherever this part of the bait is funny if read as satire of bait
