I simply thought the Seven Prisoners each represent a school, so we still need Gehena, Red Winter and Abydoss, though I think Abydoss is not possible, unless they do some retcons. Sure, Arius is a school and has different blurays from Trinity, whereas SRT has the same with Valkyrie, but I think that was more for game balancing purposes, rather than say something about SRT-Valkyrie relationships versus Trinity-Arius, so maybe we get a Valkyrie representation for the Seven prisoners. >or really any additional Arius representation. Yeah, I do wish we could get some additional Arius representation. It was nice that they got a Summer event, but I want some additional members. Even SRT has a tease with the Fox squad as being playable in the future. Maybe we get a story event where Saori tries to rebuild the school, and draws some of the ex-members who weren't arrested and aren't 100% indoctrinated either, or maybe they are and have a conflict with Saori on what the future of the school should be, something something hatred/revenge on one side and forgiveness/repentance on the other side with Sensei as a mediator. Though, they are still wanted criminals, so it's kinda hard to officially rebuild a school that was designated as a secret terrorist organization and they are too prideful to join Trinity as well, even if they would be accepted. Weird, here on Global, the top Insane players still used Wakamo instead of M.Aris, only that they had no AOE damage, and the RNG comes from the fact that Wakamo is extremely squishy.

I won't have time to use today's tickets until later tonight, so here's hoping I can figure something out. My Nutsuki can't kill the bear mobs so P1 is a crapshoot of malding for AA crits. If there's bear left alive when the train comes, then it fucks over the whole run because of Wakamo's Basic not hitting Goz, and sometimes changing the team's positions in a way that puts Wakamo closest to Goz, which gets her killed by the bomb.

There is also an option of going neither, and just focus on the boss, but that requires heavily invested Wakamo(damage), T.Yuuka(not die) plus S.Izuna for her EX skill which I doubt you can pull off, so maybe go with S. Hanako if you have her.

In reality, the solution was to just cycle NYFuuka+Wakamo+Himari constantly, and alternate NYKayoko and TYuuka as necessary to cycle (which also happened to give them ~100% uptime). By refreshing Wakamo's accumulation every time it ran out, no matter when her Basic fired it would always contribute, and the damage from an accumulation without the Basic was still better than waiting. I didn't even need to worry about having TYuuka's reposition ready at specific moments, because with that approach I was consistently cancelling Goz's position change with groggy. As long as hat RNG didn't ruin the run, which is a risk regardless of strategy, it ended up a solid minute faster than I was usually getting before.

I ended up in a seven way tie by score, but I only reached it on the last day so technically I ranked lower than the others. Even though all of us used the same team, mine was by far the least developed, so overall I feel good about the company. >>1046615 Congrats.

The fact that, we still don't have a viable 1 team clear for Insane, even with Mika, the same way there is for ShiroKuro, Chesed or Hod, means you need a lot of investment and I don't think a lot of people want to bother with that. >Yellow Team 1 - Mika 1 (Starts at 0:00) Most of the battles you see on jewtube, for all the colors, have S. Chise used to stun Wakamo. Sadly I don't have her, but I do have a heavily invested C. Kotama from Hod Torment, and they both have a Cost of 6, so it's the same right? WRONG! S. Chise will stay in the back, whereas C. Kotama stays in the middle, meaning that it's very easy for her to be killed by Wakamo, just by sneezing at Kotama, which I guess it's lore accurate, shut-in programmer versus one of the most dangerous criminals alive. This means, that I had a few runs where C. Kotama would just die, and had to restartm until I got the hang of it. Even in this video, she has like 5-10% of HP left. Anyway, I start with Kotama, then hyperbuff MIKA, heal with Kotama, and try to end the end the fight with somewhere between 0-30k of HP left on Phase 1. This is to give Team 2 some extra blue bars, to be used in Phase 2, before Wakamo fucks off with the hovercraft. >Yellow Team 1 - Mika 2 (Starts at 1:56) I start by waiting, then it's just a simple thing of using Neru to activate the debuff on Wakamo, Ako, C. Hare to buff Mika, and Mika to deal damage. Same thing for both the boat and the radar. I had already done Insane before, this is just with a better team, as I have newer students to play with. I just keep at it, until Wakamo fucks off. Again, I make sure C. Kotama doesn't die. Besides that, the strategy is relatively easy, hypebuff your Wakamo to kill the enemy Wakamo. Most people retreat the team at the end of Phase 1, but I wanted to do some extra damage. Sadly, I retreated way too early with Team 1, should have waited for Wakamo's EX to finish. >Blue Team 2 - Wappy (Starts at 2:44) Sadly, nobody put a UE50 Sakurako for me to borrow, so I had to settle with a UE40. The strategy, if you can call it that, is very simple, use a hyperbuffed Sakurako to deal damage to the hovercraft and radar, with extra damage from Izuna. Utaha, in these runs is mostly used for the extra attack speed of the turrets, to keep the debuff counter as high as possible, this is also why Izuna is really good for her attack speed when she uses her EX. Sadly, I finished the fight at just 50k HP left from the boss, and that was from several attempts. At that point I said fuck it, and just went with a third team. I really should have stayed more with the first team. >Blue Team 3 - Cleanup crew (Starts at 5:43) Just, get it over with. Neru, S.Izuna, Haruna, anyone could easily do 50k of damage. As great as SVT-AV1-PSY is, I still have to post the Hina clear in a second post, but it's still impressive how good it is, now I have lots of space left to post those uncompressed 10MB jpgs from Boru for Tsukuyo, which is a niche student. but is used in all 3 versions of Wakamo Phase 1. With her great evasion and self healing you can even use her in Torment at 4*, as long as she is MMMM with T9 equipment of course :^). As opposed to other students, it's surprisingly hard to find good pics of her that aren't just porn.

>Wakamo Torment Team 1 - D. Hina (Starts at 0:00) It took me some time to practice it in Mock battles, since C. Kotama kept dying, and had to learn the boss' patterns. Basically if I try to cancel Wakamo's attack with the second stun just as her 3 bars get filled, then C. Kotama will die, instead I have to cancel the attack at 2 bars(see 0:40), then Kotama will be left with only a sliver of health. Then I need to cancel Wakamo for a third time just as she starts the attack, not before, to get some extra blue bars, so right when I am at cost 9, instead of Cost 6, otherwise one of the tanks dies, and if that happens, then C. Kotama and D. Hina are next, as Wakamo hits two targets at the same time, that is why you need two tanks. When I figured this shit out, it became much easier. Anyway, hyperbuff D. Hina to damage Wakamo. After 3 cycles of stun from Kotama, then I need to heal the tanks as well since wakamo really hits like a truck. You don't need all that many crits from D. Hina, she does enough damage as it is. When Wakamo retreats, I activate D. Hina a bit earlier, as she has insane range I had runs, where Wakamo had already started to run, but Hina's EX was still active, so I just shot in the dark, and still hit her. I think she has "infinite" range with the attack sadly Wakamo also has insane range. I don't know how the AI works, but I am blessed that Emi just decided to move, drawing the agro from Wakamo and ensuing that Hina will not die, ensuring victory in Phase 1. Normally people would just end the battle here, or leave Wakamo at sub 100k HP to get extra blue bars, but I ain't doing that shit, instead I keep hitting Wakamo's hovercraft with Hina until she dies, taking away about 2 million HP from the boss. >Wakamo Torment Team 2 - D. Hina (Starts at 3:32) Similar to the other runs, Neru is to give debuff, Hoshino for all benefits she brings, C. Hare and Ako to hyperbuff Hina, and Utaha for extra attacks. In theory, if you crit a lot you can finish this fight with just 2 teams, but I don't need to bother with that shit, though you still need to crit a bit to finish the radars faster, as there is a real dnager for the rockets to destroy your base. I just do a good enough job and leave the boss at sub 600k HP. >Wakamo Torment Team 3 - Cleanup Crew(Starts at 6:53) Just like with the Blue clear, this is just to finish the job. In theory this team can do up to 6-8 million damage to Wakamo, so 600k HP is a walk in the park. Nagisa and Shiroko, for the debuff effect and Aru/Mutsuki for the raw damage. And that's Wakamo Red Torment. I had some problems in Phase 1, until I figured out what to do with C. Kotama, but after that it was much easier, still very hard, but D. Hina really trivializes Torment content. I wonder when they are going to release the next tier of difficulty in Total Assault. I invite you to examine these sample encodes. The ones set at 3.3 will of course retain the telltale JPEG artifacting and aliasing but for visual quality per byte it outstrips the old JPEG standard by lightyears. The ones at 1, however, well, no matter how close you zoom in, they will look the same, hence why the setting is called "visually lossless". And they're all larger than the lossy image in >>1050701 to boot too. I just don't see why AV1 and Opus slashing down bitrates for media is okay, but as soon as new standards for incredibly outdated image formats are introduced it's a madhouse. Apple picked out JPEG-XL because they noticed how well acclimated the format was to photography, so it's not like these developments will destroy the visual fidelity of artwork.

Red Insane was easy thanks to double DHina. Haven't tried Torment yet. Yellow was a bit annoying to 2-team without a Mika of my own, but Maki, Neru, Meru, and Utaha managed it. Blue was an absolute motherfucker, christ. Even 3-teaming that was a nightmare. My Izuna isn't built yet since it wasn't that long ago I farmed to recruit her, so the Wappi-borrow clear is out; it can't kill the system in time to save the resort. And my own Wappi is 3* and gets oneshotted by the first wave of missiles, so I couldn't use her even on my third team. Ended up managing a Wakamo borrow comp, followed by almost the same team as my yellow P2 for a few million in cleanup.

Rarely do you find images on the net that are several megabites high, and even way, way back when we had 8MB upload limit, there wasn't really any need to compress images to post 5 of them in the 8MB limit. With videos on the other hand, you really gotta squeze it if you want several minutes of it at decent quality. I remember 8/a/ theorycrafting all sorts of ffmpeg command lines to compress an anime episode in the 16MB file limit that was at some point. As for me, as I said, the Hina video was over 50MB, even if I were to divide it into 3 videos, I still would have either reduced the quality even more, like I did with some previous runs, or split the content in 2 posts. The use of SVT-AV1-PSY was out of necessity. Now if 8han had 1GB upload limit, I probably wouldn't have bothered with it to be honest, though since that will never be the case in the foreseeable future, I will continue to use SVT-AV1-PSY as it's really good. >>1050899 >Haven't tried Torment yet. Well you don't have much to loose, now with the pity system, you will still get the same amount of medals as if you had done Insane, if you fail. There are a few variations to the teams for Phase 1, like using Kayoko for stunning, or replacing one of the tanks with Hifumi, or using Kayoko and Mime, just search some clears on jewtube and see if there is anything you can use. I think Phase 2 is less flexible, the only real different clear is the one from https://invidious.nerdvpn.de/watch?v=XXs73x8x27o that uses Kokona for healing and Maki for the debuff, but you still need a lot of premium students, and keep in mind that if you want a two team clear in Torment, then you need to crit mald a bit with D. My intuition was right, and people did get Platinum even with an Extreme clear, just because of how bullshit Blue was, at least on Global. I even heard people saying that Torment Red was easier than Insane Blue, and ... it's debatable. Speaking of which, imagine doing Torment Red, but only doing Extreme for the other two fights, and getting Gold as a result. The guy did Torment with 5 teams, and 1 team Extreme for Blue/Yellow, so I am a bit surprised he didn't try a bit harder with Yellow at least. >>1051364 Look at it as resources invested in students, as opposed to spent. Those students are now stronger and might be helpful in other raids or Joint Firing Drills. Even something like Tsukuyo is seen in Kaiten Phase 1.
