Usenet Zoophilia Animal Enthusiast 01/31/2023 (Tue) 10:49:47 No. 5998
Check it out, there's archives of bestiality/zoophilia groups from Usenet being hosted on archive.org: https://archive.org/download/usenet-alt.sex It's these specific groups that are of interest to us: alt.sex.bestiali alt.sex.bestiality alt.sex.zoophile alt.sex.zoophilia alt.sex.zoophiliac alt.sex.zoophillia I dunno what to do with those files though (.mbox.csv.gz ?). Can one of you nerds figure it out and check if there's anything good there?

i took a look at "alt.sex.bestiality.barney.20141231.mbox.csv.gz" and "alt.sex.bestiality.barney.20141231.mbox.gz" the files don't appear to be anything remarkable, mostly leaked emails from the looks of it. though i did find this in the .mbox, which appears to have an image encoded? though i don't know how to get it out.
>>5999 USENET wasn't 8-bit safe back in the day, so binaries were encoded with uuencode or MIME encoding, which that is. Not sure where you'll find a MIME decoder for modern kit these days, though. IIRC I got my zoo stuff from alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.bestiality back in the day, so worth looking for archives of that, too. Although, come to think of it, most of the vids were 240p shit from Kristy mpegs and the like that don't really hold up on modern kit.

>>6001 images appear to be base64. put one through a decoder, and got this the image is obviously corrupted, though i'm not sure if that's because my decoder, or if the image is actually just corrupted.
(15.47 KB 640x480 832_1000.jpg)

i've gone through a good 90 of the files. doesn't seem to be anything worthwhile. most of the images are duplicates, and don't actually seem to be zoophilic in nature. not to mention i can't get a clear, non-corrupted image out. maybe another anon will have more success finding something good in there, because i sure can't. pic related, the most clear image i was able to get.
I've managed to extract images by... Downloading this python script https://gist.github.com/georgy7/3a80bce2cd8bf2f9985c and putting it in a folder along with the downloaded .mbox file (renamed to "all.mbox"), then running: python3 extract_mbox_attachments.py and waiting for it to complete These are the images I see, just normal 90s porn. Spam? (in which case why'd they waste time archiving spam) But also, running for example `grep dog all.mbox` does return some messages that look relevant.
>>6006 Yeah, spam used to be very common on Usenet. Also, weren't (larger) photo/video files on alt.binaries.* instead of directly alt.sex.*? I don't seem to remember anymore...
let us know if you find any rare content
>>6023 yea good content would've been in binaries, which wasn't archived here. the description page specifically says "These captures omit most binary posts.". I wonder if binaries are archived anywhere for free. Giganews has them apparently, but that's a paid service. >>6043 op here, i downloaded most of the links and saw just the same irrelevant spam photos as >>6006 repeated. but i wasn't interested in grep'ing for text content. might be stories still. if anyone wants to look.
>>6049 actually, speaking of stories I don't think I came across them on usenet (might have been mid/late 90s), but I remember at least a couple of stories about a married guy in new zealand exploring stuff with his dog(s), getting actually pretty emotionally invested in the whole situation, and supposedly he got outed in the newspaper or something but it was a time when the whole idea of an average schmuck fucking around with his dog was less shocking and more like "hey, get a load of this" I've actually been wanting to try and find them for the last +20 years, but it's kind of hard to search for Random Dog-fucking Text Story on the internet and hope to actually find what you're looking for

Bit out of topic. But does anyone know where alt.binairies.pictures.furries, alt.sex.furry and fur.artwork.erotica could've possibly been archived, if at all? I might be toi retarded to figure this on my own. Atleast usenet providers aren't too expensive.
Usenet zoo porn has been trash since the year 2000. I wish it would make a comeback but...
