>Suzaku in Code Geass is not a "retard"
>He is principled and believes that committing evil acts (terrorism, collateral damage) for good makes one no better than their evil opponents.
Except I never said Suzaku's ideology or systems were retarded, I said Suzaku was a retard and that's true.
He makes what he represents to be absolutely foolish despite me agreeing more so with his than Lelouch's.
Let's look at the facts here.
He was a tool for the Britannian state despite being a Japanese person whose father was murdered (by him admittedly, but that was because of his own childish foolishness and it was caused by Britannia ultimately)
He was
killing and imprisoning actual Japanese people and freedom-seeking rebels for them without any qualms
He never once critically looked at the state of the Britannians ruling over Nippon.
He was willing to kill his best friend who saved his life over this shit.
Any act of violence against the state is considered "terrorism" you buffoon, he played into the system of the people
literally oppressing his country.
What's more, collateral damage from Lelouch was largely unintentional.. You can't "prevent" complete collateral damage like that without having complete foresight.
>British territories have become independent through lawful means such as Singapore and Canada.
You are naive.
Canada is still under the British crown. They have become "free" only incidentally.because of the decline in power of Britain's monarchical influence, but they are still not free.
Singapore... that was just a fucking trading post, not even a fucking colony. Their independence was still annoying for them to get despite that and they weren't even an actual fucking colony, the fucking comparisons were fucking stupid. You'd be better off comparing it to something like India, which ironically got
fucked by Britain despite being their loyal fucking dogs.
The entire India-Pakistan conflict was literally created by the British, that is still on-going even today.
