>can't post on 4chan using TOR because 'muh CP!!!!' >can't use vpns to evade ban cus 'muh abuse!!!!!!' >can't use 4chan pass with mobile clients without risking ban cus 'mah cool desktop design!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' >can do all those things on TOR/privacy compatible *chan's and there's way less CP and abuse What did moot mean by this?
What does the creator of Google Plus have to do with 4chan
>uses tor >posts on clearnet why
he means all the excuses for exposing ppl on 4chan are made up bs, as proven by other chans without the restrictions.
>>4998 moot should an hero, that faggot
(2.19 MB 1402x3892 Hiro.png)

>>4998 >>4999 >>5000 >>5100 >>5115 Not that it matters now Moot is gone, Hiroyuki runs the show now. Been that way for 5 fucking years
>>4998 who cares about 4chan anyways altchans are the future
>>5184 4chan still gets a ton of traffic. A single busy board may have more traffic than all alt-chans combined.
well, he ran banner ads and wanted an industry job, so he pretended that 4chan wasn't a dumpster fire
>>7535 Is this board dead or alive? What's the most active /tech/ or /g/ board other than 4cuck's?
>>7541 As far as I can tell, all /tech/ boards are pretty much dead. nanochan and lainchan seem to have a little bit of activity.
I run a medium sized *chan (200+ weekly users) and yes, we've had posters (both raiders and former posters who got banned) who spam CP to the best of their ability, along with a constant background radiation of commercial CP ad spam. Then there's the gore spam. Unless you have a semi-large team of vols like this site, or nothing that attracts malicious actors, or you have users who kinda don't give a fuck about a tiny bit of CP spam, I have no disrespect for banning Tor. Yes, I posted this from Whonix.
>>7740 To expand on this, if you use a lot of the smaller imageboards, you become aware of how absolutely obsessive some people are. Look at /cow/ (literal internet drama fetishism) or /voxxe/ (trad natsoc anime catgirl porn schizo who makes dozens of posts every single day for years talking mostly to themself. and by natsoc, i mean 'egyptians are true aryans, i love jesus christ, nyaaaa~') or ANORECTAL VIOLENCE who will spam the same mini-essays hourly on boards with zero relevance to their call to assassinating politicians and porn directors. Some CP posters have that grade of fixation and will spend 18 hours a day trying to take down a website because they feel slighted. Look at the person who went around the webring reporting them all for CP/loli. How do you fight that when you're short of volunteers and you have a fucking life. IP bans and cookies won't fucking cut it unless you start ripping out ISPs and VPNs or force user registration.
Just use Mysterium bruh
>>7549 Wirechan better though.
>>7740 >>7742 <that never happen
It's common knowledge that the FBI has mod access to /b/. Probably the TOR/VPN policies are in place to make their job easier.
>>4998 moot was a faggot. I say that without resent. It's just objective. He created a weeb forum to anonymously discuss weeb shit, inspired by japanese forums, supported free speech, and then his creation escaped his control. Every controversial internet user found a place to express their beliefs without censorship, and freely insult, troll or raid. Nationalists in first place. Gamergate reinforced that in 2014, then not only /pol/ was controversial but even /v/ was. Illegal stuffs arrived, goreposting, people started to kill themselves and broadcast it there, then kill niggers and encourage it. He never wanted any of that, he's actually never been like us. All what he wanted was discuss weeb shit anonymously, not elect a far-right president and become the refuge of every NS on earth. FBI pressured his faggot weak ass, he bent. Sold to Hiro, 8chan was born as the continuity of what 4chan was. >I'm not exactly sure about all I said above, feel free to correct me, I may be wrong, I never lived these events but it's what I understood from my punctual researches. Now you can't post under VPN and leftard jannies delete anything too hot, even on /pol/ you can say nigger and call to gasing all the kikes, you'll have no problem but the moment your thread reaches 200 posts, magically, boom, you're moved to /bant/ where everybody can see your flag, the momentum of the dynamic broken. Ironically he created the most glorious forum on internet, and the most influential. Not thanks to himself, he only coded the site. Anons created that. Literally molded the meme culture, trolling and the memetic warfare. All that to go to waste. No spine. I don't blame him, he never wanted that in the first place. He never was a hero or a champion. Just a free speech fragile faggot nerd. The thing got too big for him, a wonderful power able to write >Hitler did nothing wrong on Mountain Dew bottles and locate and steal the flag of a Hollywood faggot in the desert. Able of anything. Then Wheel Freak did the same thing there. Even did worse, tried to destroy it, kek. What a disgrace. >>5131 I was suspicious about japanese, when you know how servile they are, they literally have to fulfil papers to empty their fucking garbage, police will abuse you until you confess anything. But then I learnt he was sued and lost, openly violating law. Made me nuance my judgement. Now your picture makes me nuance again. One thing is sure, 4chan is now completely tamed, so I tend to be critical of it and its admin. >>7740 TOR isn't the problem. Just have a competent team of mods who will just do their work, aka reading the reports and instant delete the CP spam.
>>9008 The US government is funding tor funny enough.
>>7740 soot was this you?
>>16231 proof ?
>>16273 The literal first search result: https://support.torproject.org/misc/misc-3/ It's supposedly to support evasion of foreign government censorship.
>>16172 >mods >work Good one.

>>16276 You talk about that ? Well it's neither FBI nor CIA...
>>16277 board culture is fun but the bonds are too loose. A team must work through Discord.
