What happened to this place? It's a ghost town in here. OAB anon reporting in. Did a ton of homework and tried various things to no avail. I did however find out than many folks with OAB and Urge Incontinence did acquire it through a UTI. Seems like a Strep B UTI had the highest success rate. Anywho I did what anyone in a bad bout of BIID would do. Seems that I ended up giving myself an asymptomatic/silent uti not a full one. No symptoms just stonger pee for a bit. Total pain in the ass as I need to clear that up to try again or continue further. No clue as to why its asymptomatic as science itself has no real knowledge or info on this. Also for those that are after incontinence, please really be sure it is what you want and take anything posted (like unperscribed meds) with a serious dose of reality. Wear often enough and you can learn to let go in diapers. Do that in your sleep often enough and maybe you'll wet with or without diapers on "funtionally incontinent" means you need diapers, even if only to reassure yourself. As for the hypnosis question. I've had someone ask to be a bedwetter. Then a couple weeks later ask not to be a bedwetter. They didn't think hypnosis was going to work. They'd listened to 'a lot' of files. It did work. Working for you is a subjective thing. If you can sit in the middle of your bed right now and pee. Regardless of what you are currently wearing, whether or not you have a protective sheet on there. Whether or not you then need to do a load of laundry. if you can accept your identity as "i'm a bedwetter" and it doesn't matter who knows - then I think hypnosis can work really well. if it's just a fantasy then i think you can really enjoy the files and listening to them and enjoy the moment, but it probably isn't going to be something permanent

Although in my experience it is more common with women, most likely due to the anatomical differences in their pelvic floor vs men, it can happen quite easily to anyone. The key is that it is a muscular "imbalance" so to speak. Even with very casual strengthening if the core's strengthening becomes too asymmetrical to the pelvic floor's strength then you end up with leaks. So you dont need to push yourself too hard, you just need to exercise in a very wrong way. On the bright side this form of incontinence is easily treatable, just improve the strength and coordination of the pelvic floor and it resolves itself, assuming not too much time has passed since it started.
