Looks like they're trying to make movement/traversal more similar to Nu-Doom, which, to be fair, Doom 2016 rips off Painkiller's game loop (well, really Serious Sam's but still). Is anybody that used to be with People Can Fly/Flying Wild Hog with Saber now? Flying Wild Hog has a pretty bothersome history with their games. Shadow Warrior 2013 was good, Shadow Warrior 2 was shit. Hard Reset was fucking garbage, never bothered with the re-release. Evil West looked like crap as well. Maybe letting Saber make a Painkiller game instead will give us SOMETHING that isn't shit. I'll keep my eye on it but I expect nothing.
