This board was primarily made for indian imageboard users, since the admin of indiachan.io is a fucking faggot and that website is an absolute glowhole. The aim of this board is to encourage high quality discussion with minimal censorship. Enjoy!

>>4349 How easy it is to fall into the wagecucking spiral. >>6902 Very good advice yaro. I feel the need to interact with people less and less as I get older. Once a week for some, once a month for others, and once a year for most. Thankfully, some I never have to interact with. I already have a bit of pride in the fact that I haven't already become something I would secretly loathe. So many people coping with their mediocrity and they're only in the their mid 20s, having given up on themselves entirely. Part of me feels sad, but I was also there when they were making bad decision after bad decision. > Thailand, camp etc. Yep, hoping to do as good as I can there. I feel like I have a decent amount of potential, but we shall soon see. Even if the euro crashes it will still do well in the third world. Very dark times ahead for Thailand, so many issues will keep it stuck where it is now. A warning for India and so many other thirdies on the cost of being an American ally.

>>8210 My guide gave me ultimatum : > Either bring funding from somewhere or get lost. Like if I was a business/entrepreneurial person, why would I choose academia?
>>8238 This is mostly standard though. In a way as an "Academic" you really are an enterpreur. As a result, most of academia in west is smooth talking, smart sounding frauds. There is more intellectual honesty in a plumber or welder than there is in an academic. The really interested one's fund their own research through odd jobs or side gigs and publish once in 3 or 5 years. Meanwhile, academic mills expect you to teach , do admin and write minimum of 2 papers a year. https://www.honest-broker.com/p/the-blue-collar-jobs-of-philip-glass

I thought discipline was conditioning myself to work through pain but I realized I don't care about pain because at least pain is something to experience. Real discipline is working through boredom and knowing you will never see the result of your work.

>>8201 Meltdown in Canada over this shit. Appears to be a last desperate attempt by the liberal government to gain domestic support. Trudeau loses and the whole thing is swept under the rug. The whole ordeal is showing how little impact the Canadian government has abroad. Riots outside Hindu temples by literal terrorist sympathizers.
>>8231 HOLY SHIT LOOOL. >>8232 Not that the canadian opposition is any better. Canada is a proper buck broken Colony of USA and regardless of who wins, things will get bad there. Even Mexico has more independence than Canada. Which is too bad because the people seem nice. USA is going to use Canada and other small nations to cushion its recession and crash.

Now that the FOSS movement has chosen geopolitical sides, I think its high time the BRICS fraction should just fork Linux and start making our own Kernels and OS's. China is already doing it and honestly not doing a bad job.

>>8116 >>8116 This bothers me a lot. I can pirate a lot of books, the ones I want to support, I can simply order the paperback. But there are many , especially Indian authors which can be hard to order out of India. Indian publishes think android apps are a good idea to tell sell digital books to people who want a digital copy. Then Indians complaint that google as a platform exploits them. We learn nothing from east India company fiasco.

I have the sense of humour of a child, where I still find this funny and amusing.
Finally got the action cam of my dreams. Few observations 1. Normal camera's allow you to focus on a subject. Action cam sucks for this 2. In theory you can VLOG with this, I don't like the look for it. But that is my preference 3. The saturated HDR bright look is not for everyone or every situation That said, I am happy. It is small , very tough, works in cold climates etc. I can go swimming with it, can click good pictures, can record excellent video while in motion. In terms of photos, I mostly will use it for landscapes. For other photos, I will stick to my Instax camera, since it is lot of fun to dial in pictures manually. I do appreciate photographers who setup a proper shot with a DSLR, a friend of mine comes up with stunning shots. But it is just not for me.

no version of indiachan were enthusiastic about automotive. Whys that? because average anon is home dwelling autist? Anyway really feel sad about the situation of automotive in india. We have absolutely nothing. Sure we have few things like new scorpioN but its not m340i which by the way attracts 40+20% tax because boomer thinks protectionism is the way to grow home market. The 2w home market thrived despite having so tiny amount of protectionism. So, boomer retards should think about how less protectionism would effect the 4w market than just being NPCs. I just want to drive a miata man. Mahindra has an engine that feels alive and responsive. The 2.0L petrol mStallion. They just need to develop a chassis. Put some seats in it and sell it for <20 lkhs. Having driven the new scorpioN, i say mahindra is capable of developing good chassis. It would be indias first true enthusiast car Thank you for reading my blog. You patience was appreciated.

>>8155 If you say this because of the pollution thing that's just not relevant. Diesels have marginally higher NOx, sulphur and PM emissions but they fixed it in bs6 with their particulate filter and catalytic thing (adblu) also to push the blame of le pollution on random citizens is stupid. Trucks, coal fired power plants, industries, stubble burning and marine engines they account for a large, large percentage of air pollution. Diesel will be truly dead when all trucks run on CNG and the government removes subsidies and stars taxing diesel like they do with petrol. Not that I want it to happen. If a car runs well, keep it running. Pretending to care about the environment to kill off perfectly working cars is criminal. They (government, auto industry) do it for the money, if you haven't seen the pattern yet.
>>8156 Diesel pollutants are particularly notorious and have serious health concerns. Don't believe the filter bullshit, car companies push lot of money in Germany to suppress studies. It is a citizen issue if everyone does it and if it harms everyone. They should just have let diesel cars die natural deaths and stop registering new Diesel or ban their sale/manufacture. > Pollution Fully agree. We just need to take care of stubble burning and stop with the GMO and 3 crops a year nonsense. This is a deeply frustrating thing where govts refuse to put their foot down. The rest is all noise. < CNG I have terrible experience with CNG, so kind of biased against it. Car with CNG can barely climb a small hill, let alone intense driving. Fully agree that impounding good cars does more harm to the environment than letting them run when the harm is marginal. > Back to Gadkari Un necessary intervention does more harm than no intervention. There should be an award for people who do good by doing nothing. Cops who let street justice happen, judges who keep their mouth shut , doctors who don't prescribe medicine for no reason etc. Gadkari doesn't belong to that group. He should have used his brain somewhere else.

Anyone who says they hate good interiors and smooth rides, is a liar. Plus Interiors and excellent suspension is worth it if you drive a lot. The issue is, a lot of luxury cars - Use exotic parts i.e. maintenance takes a long time in India and parts take time to come. - They break down since they are not designed for India. India only makes things for middle class and lower class. India hates people with wealth. So owning a luxury car in India quickly becomes a pain. Best is to get a good performing car and spend money on interiors instead.

please janny dont delete it i am not a .iofag been on this chan since 2020. Most of my day goes in mindlessly scrolling shitter and bhangigram, got no friends to talk, whenever i am in college i am alone, i am just badly invisible to everyone. personality is also anti-social and on top of that i look like a chep whenever i try to fit in some group, first semester is already over dont know how long its going to be like this. it gets real bad sometimes when i am not even acknowledged by my brother because of my low grades he doesnt even look at my face and for the most part i am quiet whole day except some random talk for 5 min with someone from college on way back to home.

>>4306 >"except some random talk for 5 min with someone from college" you do have friends, just not close ones so try to make them close through shared interests and plainly lying about everything about your life and do it again and again till everyone believes it. i did this in 1st and 2nd year after which i did not have to lie anymore since i had made enough friends and had gotten my social skills back after covid.

Wagie fatigue , exploitation and meaningless work are very real issues. Career decisions have a lot of impact on your life. You spend more time at work than you do at home
