And Final Fantasy Legend II is worth a mention, it's not what most people think of when asking about the SaGa series but it's a good game if you're looking for a simple gameboy JRPG. The more complex games like Unlimited SaGa and Emerald Beyond have some die-hard defenders but also many people that got filtered. Like me. They're not bad games, I think, I just don't get them. On the other hand I loved the equally divisive The Last Remnant (which is technically not a SaGa game but it's often grouped together)
